-- but I like to avoid advertising my hobbies IRL as much as possible.

Kinda this ^.

Maybe the semi-fashionista in me says that "gaming shirts on girls still isn't that cool" unless you're with the dorkiest crowd ever.  But even in general; I'm not a fan of silly t-shirts, stuff with memes on them or anything too silly unless I'm at home.

So far Jake's chapter is the best in RE6. Lots of good buddy cooperation.

I hate those fuckers who can't die... AUGH.  But yeah, I def thought so too. Each chapter played quite differently, and kept it nice and varied.

Gotta replay a few levels for Ada's campaign to unlock since the game thinks I didn't finish everything.  Clearly the sum of the parts isn't the whole to Res 6; but I'll probably blaze through them on amateur though.
Which reminds me: Defense Lv.3 is too good.  I don't know if it was just Sherry, but she auto-healed while I barely took any damage.

Jake x Sherry was adorable too.  The girlie in me was all: DAAWWWW

Okami is fantastic.  Embarrassed not to have played it sooner.  Wrapping up things in Taka Pass (wanted list, hidden treasure) before I head back to Kamiki Village for the festival.

I love this game too... but do the cutscenes annoy you??
I  h a t e  w h e n  t h e y  p u t  t e x t  o u t   a  l e t t e r  a t  a  t i m e  .  It wasn't reading Shakespeare (remember when FFTactic did it too?  Why do companies think that's a good idea?).  Most NPCs are either ungrateful for the shit you do, ignorant to it, or thank you too much.

Skyfall -   I don't understand the orgasm train this flick is riding on, but I'll blame reviewers for what seems like them circle-jerking to it and saying hows it's "the best Bond" or "remaking the franchise".
But nevertheless, a great movie.  I was happy to see a film more focused on M; Judi Dench deserves the love.  Bond Girl #2 had way too much eye makeup half the time, but Bond Girl #1 was wonderful (name slipping, in a rush as I write this).  Good movie, and I loved Bardem while Craig was in top form.
What!? This flick was so mediocre. I'll give credit to Naomie Harris (the first bond lady), and Judi Dench is always a good sell. Even Lord Voldemort was quite interesting in the movie, but the plot was so stale. Reminded me of Die Hard 4, which was bleh too. I liked the characters, especially the villian and that little...scene with bond when they first met. But the story never picked up, and Skyfall itself was a letdown (the term used itself I mean). Craig wins, but the writers should be fired.

Quote
The "revenge on M" plot was fantastic -- but i guess it wasn't really played up more than beyond that.... it was a murder/suicide he was going for, even despite the fancy gadgets Bardem had, the big blow up of HQ, the outstanding hacking, the publicly released videos of MI6 agents.  There was a lot of powerful material that was sort of dropped or never given that final UMPH that, by comparison, Batman Dark Knight Rises took to an 11.  And again, despite the fancy plotting, it all came down to a murder/suicide attempt...  Granted, the Cyanide bit was pretty frightening.

I found Adele's song pretty average too.  I don't get why all the reviewers are raving for it, it IS good... but short of "amazing" despite having all the ingredients for it.

Really sad Felix wasn't in this one too. :(

It bears repeating, some of the enemies are really sweet in RE6. Once I(we) beat it we should turn up the difficulty and add some challange.

Def agree.... and a maybe some of this kind of play.

I think Yoda's just upset because disney's going to sue him for copyright infringement.

That video isn't nearly as.....ok it's pretty accurate.

Naw, I think the fact that Jake might be a ginger is more distressing than Yoder's Amish ways.  I already knew he's a freak.  But to have a ginger in a game??....AAGGHHH

Boaby. It's the childish word for it, makes me shiver though.

that show seems awesome

It is, but I don't know how well it would translate outside of Scotland. :)

neither the title of the show or the episode make sense to me.

STAY TUNED

omg, i love that tv show... it's like making me use my head and think...in order to decipher it all.

On the subject of warning labels, I think my personal favorite is one I saw on a chainsaw recently warning you to 1. not turn the chainsaw on while holding it next to your leg and 2. not operate it while drunk.

Haha makes sense!

I always get annoying on the subway, where you basically see a warning for every goddamn move you might make.
- Please, hold on to railing.
- Please, mind your step.
- Please, do not move while vehicle is in motion.
- Please, mind the gap when subway arrives at the platform (which is like, to scale, this ___________________ wide in real life).

Even when a coffee cup warns you it's hot.... guaranteed because some asswipe sued for things in life that should kind of obvious.

Res Evil 6 (BIOHAZADO) -- Jake's campaign with Yoder.  Chris' campaign is the weakest now, but still fun.  I like that this one is similar to Leon's chapter, a more traditional Resident Evil style, but with a bit more added depth to the characters (for one, I like having two [relatively] new playable characters to the series, but gameplay-wise, they're both clearly different to play as, much more than Leon and Helena were, and more than Chris and Piers were).  I'm liking this campaign a lot, and I like the added element of "watching your step".  I only wish that the idea of ducking and shooting was made better... The part with Sherry alone in the facility was a pain in the butt to not get caught, wall hugging isn't well explained, and attacking some fucker who's about to walk by while you're hiding is virtually non-existent.

...last thoughts: What the fuck is it like to compose music for a horror game?  Or the genre entirely...

dun dun.....dun...... suspense building...
SHHRREEEEEEE you've been caught!
DUN DUN DUN DUN DUUN DUN DUN DUUUN. run you asshole!! some shit is chasing yoouu!

haha I don't think the QTEs are that bad myself -- but I did enjoy the song quite a bit.

I'm feeling all musical with Les Miserables movie coming out I guess.

Ever wonder if the penis was called a vagina, would we still think vagina is a prettier word? I hate all the names for the penis, especially the colloquial name for it here in Scotland. Vagina sounds lovely though, but would it still be if it were attached to the penis. Hm.

I was a little girl and had this doll.  It had a fancy hat, a purse, an smart looking outfit, and she had some effeminate features (makeup, batted eyelashes, puckered lips).  She was cute!  But unlike most dolls like this, she looked...almost like a peanut JUST with all these clothes on.  So, before I even knew what "it" was, I was thinking of names "Peanut...peanut...pea....pea.... Miss.  Miss..... Penis!"  My mum scolded me for that name and I had no idea what I did wrong.

I just thought a penis sounds... "Cute".... I don't think that's a good thing.

D: ITS CHUNKY?!

Given your preference for fellas, it's not like you'd have to worry about it. ;)
Buuut given WHY girls bleed, yeah, it's technically got "substance".

Things get even creepier during pregnancy.

Because Yoda mentioned how he likes the sexy during his rag, I remembered this awesome vid.
It's completely SFW, and explains why tampon commercials are much more exciting than....well, than girls tend to be on their time-of-the-month (showing girls playing sports, and laughing, and playing, etc.; Richard being the man who asked why the companies use 'misleading' ads).

Done in a way that only Brits can make stuff like this funny.
