:D

It's how my broke ass saves money I don't have.

How do you afford gas?

Full Day Parking (btw 3 hours+ = a "Full Day") = $13.00
Gas = $20-$40 and split with mum (her car, I just use it)

It works, it's cheaper, and I manage. x(

I hate when Japanese go for that sweet and helpless characterization.  I've heard the ending is a clusterfuck and hard to make sense of.

Hanasaku Iroha episode 2!
No slapping this time.;)
In fact, Grandmawhore was under wraps this time.  I like this show, it's beautiful to watch, first off, and I like the basic and simple premise.  Steins;Gate's first episode was absolutely dizzying in comparison, so I enjoy the sort of novel-like pace and characterization of this one.  It ends on a peculiar cliff hanger.

I also watched the first episode of uh Nichijo [?].  It's alright.  I admire KyoAni's damn near flawless animation, especially for long-ass TV series', but it's gotten old on me.  Zany everyday school lives... mostly of girls and their shenanigans.  This one is no different (though, I do just want them to get on and hurry finishing Haruhi's super saga).  I liked it until they included some stupid kid scientist who acts as bratty and stupid as a normal kid, and her robot-maid who tries to keep in a secret (despite the obvious).  It's perfect if you like silly and random humour; but to me Azumanga Daioh reigned supreme on this. x)

I have begun showing symptoms that seem to suggest I may be becoming a Xenolosopher. If it gets worse than it is now, please put me to sleep.

That sounds painful. I hope it isn't contagious CJS.

Um. Christopher John Slytherin

BIAS!

EDIT: currently taking a study break as I, uh, create some parking passes for myself.

Here's trailer of Asura's Wrath from January. The game is basically a Japanese God of War with a little of Dragon Ball as you can see in the video, looks cool but Capcom haven't shown too much gameplay yet.

Also, the official website of Street Fighter X Tekken is ready: http://www.capcom.co.jp/sfxtk/

The first screen shit shot of Nina looks like it was done in MS Paint.

Character classes, gaining new powers, quests, chatting with NPCs, a morality system, branching endings… this sounds very RPG-ish…
We know, but the Capcom team has been very delicate about how they promote this title and the word "role-playing game" has never once (not even on accident) escaped their lips. They are very insistent that this is simply an "action adventure" title.

Why are they so afraid of calling it an RPG? Is that part of Japan's great westernization plan?

All of a sudden, I liked Squeenix a bit more .... no, no.. stop it!

I'd love to see Capcom return to their roots, even if it is a handheld RPG (non-Monster Hunter...mind you, a current gen Monster Hunter would be alright).

Animating might be a bitch -- I'd love to see Soejima's style animated with this title.  The plaid skirts might suck too.

I have 102 empty text files in my My Documents folder.

I have circular conversations with myself in the filenames.

I have never really figured out if you are a crazy genius or just crazy.

And yeah, I can see that interview being a smack to the fans.

I actually, and finally, found a copy of Nocturne that I'm considering (despite seeing it played out on YT by a number of users) at local nerighbourhood game store (ie; not Gamestop)

I'm in the boat that doesn't get why the series is beloved.
Is the story *that* good???

Deal with it.  Dungeons were boring to say the least (oontz oontz oontz oontz battle x many floors).  The characters in P3/4 and their stories, I'll admit, are a highlight to JRPGs in general (hell, NPCs even become endearing); but the greater whole of the story kinda left a weird taste in my mouth (filled with odd antagonists, some of which barely seemed motivated).

I really liked DDS, but I still have a love-hate feeling with the school setting and the way the day works and establishing social links (the irony of "socializing" in a single player game haha).  I didn't like the pressure of getting things done in that way.  Battles were numerous and got seriously repetitive, but I did like the way it rewards good actions and punishes others... but beyond that, that was really all to it.

I sit on a weird line for the series.  It's different, mature, but still somewhat simple in terms of actual battling (the social stuff doesn't count as gameplay to me).  I'm not crazy for the series, but I enjoy following it, and I'd probably get whatever installments that come out.  But, to me, the constant "RPG of the Year" status is for the birds.

I'm still going to check out the first episode just to see if I like it or not. I see no point in saying I'll pass on it when I haven't even seen it yet.

If it's anything like the game, the prologue will last for 5 episodes. x(

Cool looking enough, but I'd need more to go on at the moment.  I hope this hacking and slash isn't as aimless as it looks.  That, and for Capcom, I was expecting something at least a little less Tolkien-esque.  DMC was still pretty creative despite the modern-day element.
