My wife says that the Wilson brothers' fame seems to be indirectly proportional to their attractiveness. Owen looks worst, is most famous. Andrew looks best, is barely famous.

Ingenious, actually.

The Darjeeling Limited is the only one I have yet to see. I should bump it up on my queue. Thanks for the reminder.

Not my favorite, but still good.

One thing I like about these movies besides major content: Usually good soundtracks. :D

Vanillaware loves the sort of outlandish logos.  Anyways.  I will have and I will want this game for these reasons:

I'm not too crazy about the stupidly-portioned characters though.  Cute with giant-muscle-bearded-man, but the sorceress' tits are just embarassing haha

I keep watching this trainwreck and laughing my ass off.

Remember the last JRPG that stuffed monster hunting into a poorly made game? It was called Tales of Symphonia 2.

I feel so ignored... or did you get the idea from me?? : /  haha

Trailer was pretty good... but I can see the story being stupid though.  I kinda hate having Serrah take the lead, she looks...so weird.  Seems the game forgot about her "better half", Snow, so far haha

Graphics look great (sans Serrah), and I'd like to see more of the old cast too.

But i thought Serah was hot, and i dig her new outfit -_-

I'd like her more... if she looked more real.  Her design creeps me out.  Her hair, while I dig the side ponytail, is accompanied by some sort of under-mullet, and the accursed Japanese-long-bangs that seems to only hit the centre of the face.

...hm.  A sequel with monster raising.  Hey y'all, remember Tales of Symphonia 2 and how much it rocked?  Neither do I.

Best thing I told a kid to give him his own misconception: it *is* possible to double-jump (seeing him try was amazing).

One of the most hyped E3s ever... and that's it.

The wii-u did nothing for me. For nintendo new hardware is just an excuse to recycle the same 3 IPs over and over again. At least this time there's 3rd party support but there doesn't seem to be a visual upgrade over the PS360 versions and the controller functions will be shoehorned in like they are with kinect and move.
MS conference was downright pathetic.
Sony only showed stuff we already knew about. I think the vita is a great piece of hardware and the price was a nice surprise but I'm not a handheld person.

This pretty much. Everything felt like it was reveal; no real surprises here.

- Easy one: parents bank account had an infinite balance.
- Parents went to "work", not so much a specific job and a role, just "work".
- Figure Skaters weren't waving at the camera, they were waving at *me*! :D
- Gannon, from Adventure of Link, was after me (remember that game over screen? Still gives me the chills)
- No real sense of months. I don't know, I just remember going to school, then not for a while.

Fuck it. I'm not dealing with another gimmick system.  A tablet? What for? Probably to roll pizza dough in a Pizza Mama title. I'll pass **unless** the system seriously gets it's head out of it's butt. The Wii lineup as of now seriously makes it look like Barney and  Fischer Price co-sponsors the thing.  I reflect on the Wii now as a waste of money. : /

It's Square. Are you SERIOUSLY expecting them to put out a good story when they're pretty much proven that they're consistently bad at that? And I don't mean recently I mean since like forever?

Credit where it's due... I think FF6 was okay.
6866  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: E3 2011 on: June 07, 2011, 12:11:17 AM
So long as we all learned from last year that motion technology is gimmicky and crappy.

I remember really enjoying The Life Aquatic because of its bizarreness. :D

I liked it too.  As soon as I figured out the major "theme", it pieced itself together nicely.

I kinda hate this "grand theatrics" games have going nowadays... I wanted gameplay. :(

EDIT: watched the vid, looks amazing to say the least.  But I love the Squeenix-universe hair physics at play.  She just got dug out of a watery grave, but her hair still swishes around -- it's beautiful! haha

Latest trailer: why does Pyrrah essentially apologize for every hit she makes...? x(
