Kino is a cool show. x)
Definitely a great idea even if a little unambitious, but it works quite well and tells some good fiction.

Shin Sekai no Yori -- 08
Man... really disapponted with the series lately.  Not only has the animation completely "derped" the last 3 episodes (which is oddly never done well; the flow gets ruined and it's like the actors can't act it as well or naturally), but the plot sort of nose-dived.  Specifically refering to the time jump in this one.  I love time jumps, I think they're a great way to create interest in whatever settings by showing much much has changed (heck, best example is how Ocarina of Time handled this).  They're good at creating shock value too (again, Ocarina of Time's main market town going from lively to the ...exact opposite).  What this show decided to do was bring things back to the school setting and let the main cast turn into a bi-sexual romp (rather, the main fellas are completely a couple, wearing the same necklace and frenching each other, while our main girl -- now in a lesbian relationship -- is mad jealous at the men).  I wouldn't mind it as much if it didn't really come out of left field and focus so much time on it (and the derp-animation [derpimation]) just made French kissing awkward.  I also wouldn't mind it as much if it didn't play such a small part in actual story, as it looks like the previous spoilers/info-dumps from the last few weeks were almost completely forgotten...  I'll give this another chance but I'm really sad the show started *so* strong to only get so much weaker.

I'm more partial to the white-gold Ni no Kuni bundle.

Res6-- Played some Mercs.

Round 1: Dice is all like, "yo, fucking awesome music!"

Round 2: Dice be all, "yo, same song!  Awesome[?]"

Round 3: Dice finally negotiates her feelings for only one Mercenaries level music. "This track: Still awesome", she says.

Anyways, playing the game on Veteran definitely brings new meaning to this song... especially in regards to how even the odds are with zombies successfully pulling off a hit.

I think that this is now one of my favorites moments in the series. Really enjoyed the whole thing though.

Many thanks!

Playing Ada's chappy... feels like I'm cheating on my co-op partner in crime

Res 6 : Playing....on my own. *ahem* Getting emblems and finishing chapters the game thinks I didn't finish.
I want to get better at this game; for some odd reason aiming above 75% accuracy is asking for a lot.  ...what a waste of bullets.
I wanna try out mercs soon -- a fun migraine they are.

Love!!!!  It's such a weird thing to do... need this more.
i wouldnt mind an Indigo pop culture Tee, off all things

Yes, it's a very big problem. Violence and alcohol from an early age, coming from bad/poor households, its pretty bad. It's not like gangs, more just a large uneducated violent subculture. I avoid them if I can, if you don't look like one of them, you are pretty much garenteed some abuse, verbal at best, physical at worst. I've been chased with rocks before just because I looked like a goth, cause I my hair is dyed red.

Our house is also under frequent rock attack because we are gay. Calling the police just aggrevates it because its against some sort of community code, they look out for each other. It's not just kids though, this attitude can go with them their entire lives.

Star, that's actually really brutal.  I give you credit for, what seems like for the most, putting a pretty good face despite of it.  I'm sorry to hear that.

my shirt size is extra medium

Sounds like a reasonable girth.

Once you get that together... how sturdy is it? How hard would you have to press on the top of that shroom to mess it up?

Medium.

Estelle encounters a buckyball monster!

Why can't I make shit like that with my buckyball?  I wanted to make a star too, but the positives and negatives get all wonky and I'm left with some stupid shitty warped thing....

Estelle encounters a buckyball monster!

That's not a buckyball monster. That's a buckyball Metroid! Skree~

Anyways, he's an awesome metroid shirt

Yoda has space images taken care of -- but I'm actually a big fan of the National Geographic and their fancy photos.  I rue the day my pops stopped subscribing to them.

Great blog in general for "random and amazing" images, this post shows off some of the collection considered for the "best of 2012".... and how!
6869  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: What Yoda Found in Space for us to F**c Up on: November 14, 2012, 01:08:43 AM
I need the country....  I'd love to go up north for a chance to see even the tiniest fraction of stars you can see in that photo.  I'm not quite the cosmo-phobe Yodes is, but I love sky gazing a heck of a lot.

Goddammit.  I go to work and I miss everything here.

Congrats Star; you're a lucky fella to find someone you like so much.  Most people find assholes and move on from heartbreak and then on to something maybe better -- maybe.  ... I'm losing myself here: point is, congrats and the food sounds awesome!!
