My heart sanka  bit when my favorite stylist had to throw in the towel in his hairdressing career; a nasty case of psoriasis made it too hard to work with open dry-skin cuts on his hand and working with chemical hair products.

Generally anyways: it is cheaper to be a guy.  I hate guys with buzz cuts, so fellas, the extra coinage on a proper style wins me over (and other girls too).

I almost salute then for it, considering graphic novels are potential chart-toppers over there (I'm not a fan of the genre).

Blasphemy!
Bite me.  Fix your quoting.  Go make love to a loli body pillow.

Wishful thinking is still pegging this as a BoF.  Thus far though, it "feels" like it's going a more open-concept, hack n slash, Drakengaard route.  Yup, all that from a splash screen (and Capcom tendencies as of late).

You're probably right, but I would say it's a 99.9% chance it won't be a BOF game.

I want time to fly.  I'm curious regardless.  A new adventure title from Capcom colours me a curious purple.

Funny, I was thinking that a few moments ago.  What the hell happened to them?  They really jumped ship almost.  I think Megaman is the last big series with giganto-eye (ie; anime).  Ah well.

They (but not only they) started to believe the hyperbole that Japan sucked, and instead of focusing on making good games, they started focusing on making "Western" games.

Minor site change: the dragon has a heart (daaawwwwww) and some sort of green field scrolls the background (illuminating the dragon).  Not very BoF-like.

Was anyone expecting BOF, really?

This is going to be an action game, not an RPG.

Capcom wants to be an American company, they're never going to make a JRPG again.

I appreciate all the comments here, really. x)

A bob is such a cute haircut -- the name hardly justifies.

I'll make sure I post my final haircut when it happens (when I can afford it again...hopefully soon!).  Maybe not too short, but I do like the shoulder length to spruce it up.  There comes a point where it just doesn't manage well.  Goddamn, guys are lucky.  $15 trip to the barbers.  Done.

Story
FF6 > FF5

Battle
FF5 > FF6

Both categories is by leaps and bounds.

...you know what, I'm out.  Not starting this here or again.

Art direction,princess.

Hey I thought I was the princess around here. :(

If it helps, I'm not actually a pair of dice.

Love... transcends skin...scales.. whatever.... it's so lovely~!
7045  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: If you could show any game to a younger "You" .... on: April 07, 2011, 11:11:52 PM
I might go for Super Smash Bros Brawl.  Not because it's a perfect game (because it's not) but most of the familiar characters would really draw a younger me's interest.  The idea of Sonic and Mario duking it out was a common schoolyard fantasy at the time, but we never thought it would be more than that.

Haha I like this answer!

I love the series as is (I do think Melee had the better physics engine though); I think that would be an extremely impressive 3D title to show off to a younger me who's still used to sprite works.  Hell, those in-game models barely match the more professional CG work seen for these games earlier iterations.

I still love watching the mellee opening

You know what? I like that, and I get it completely.  Otherwise, I don't think I'd own the Drakengard 2 artbook (ironically, it's not only one of my favorites, but I prefer to look at it than play the game)
7047  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky on: April 07, 2011, 09:34:38 PM
Haha I'm not really trying to make a point; but I do think it's a silly think to argue about... or, should I say, much ADO about nothing? Hohoho!

I'd like to see it as a more optimist way of the phrase!  Like "I care a bit, but I could, less-so."
7048  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky on: April 07, 2011, 09:27:31 PM
Who set the standard for the saying?
7049  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky on: April 07, 2011, 09:09:50 PM
I thought both "I could" and "couldn't" care less meant essentially the same thing: a lack of care, whichever way you read it.

I guess whatever million lines o' text, an error is bound to happen and even get missed.  Happened to me when I made a catalogue.  Sometimes it takes a group effort to screw up haha

I hate laugh tracks -- I personally find something is wrong if you need a laugh track to perpetuate humour (mind you, some shows to well with, but I hold in higher regard the ones that do without).

Curious about this show now though.  Brit humour is highly underappreciated.

YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE IT CROWD YET?

Seriously though, it and Black Books are worth your valuable time.

I actually suggest Black Books before the IT Crowd , but thats just me.

Ill be sure to check them out! x)

I just watched the end of the latest American Idol.  I don't watch it, but wow.  The girl they all thought would be the "next idol" was taken out of the draw much to the shock of ...just about everyone.  Whether you have a high opinion of her or not, if J Lo shed a tear because I didn't make it into the finals, I'd be pretty goddamn honoured!  Nothing is more of a final slap than performing that last heart-breaking song before you're kicked off (the literal swan song when you get booted off, you have to sing).  Her final note was kinda stretched, then she hides her face, starts crying, microphone on, and hugging up against another finalist.  Mind you, with all the publicity, she'll probably still have a happy future or whatever.
