The only TV event I celebrate is the Eurovision, which is the best show ever made.

Oh Romania....do a song we'd all know you for.

This one's on my iPod though, coincidentally both representing Romania, but harder to tell on this one.

There are plenty of good long hour movies, but they're definitely not the easiest to get revved-up about to re-watch.  I loved Lord of the Rings, but I can't just sit and start a marathon even if I really wanted to.  I'm not saying long movies are bad, many are good and take advantage of the length to tell a good story.  I'm just calling it more of an investment.

I'm curious about this Dark Days now..

I actually had no idea Pulp Fiction was that long. That's a mark of a good movie, making time fly.

Kong is too long

TWSS

Surprisingly, huh?  Especially for a movie that's mostly perpetual yakking.

Which reminds me, the last episode of House spoofed Pulp.  I was happy and giggly.

Odd topic.  But I've always loved music for it's ability to almost take you back to what you felt when you heard it.
Got any particular moments?

--- Few of mine...

Unlimited SaGa OST: reminds me of when I worked at a chair company in Toronto, it's where I first heard, and listened the fuck out of it.  This actually goes for the Zweii II OST (find it, FIND IT, if you can - it's fucking awesome).

The Beautiful Mistake: reminds me of the gym, had a few of their tracks on then, and now it just kinda sticks.

Bigwig, Still (and various other punk/ska): highschool, it was at an all-time highlight then.

Bif Naked, Spaceman: reminds me of the drive to my drama classes back when I was in gradeschool.  I loved this song.

Avishai Cohen: little-known jazz musician, reminds me of a boy I liked, who got me into jazz, but also reminds me of Greece, when I went there and had some of Cohen's stuff on my MP3 player.

Kirby Super Star OST: Christmas time.  My bro and I played the game like mad when we were getting ready for "santa" to arrive.

Community was fucking incredible this week, as was 30 Rock.

MAGNITUDE

I wanted the old, farting, white-hispanic dude to win the election!  But indeed, South Park was a worthy candidate.  Did you notice when they showed the President Profiles they misspelled "Kryptonite" as KYPtonite???

I'd say I'd enjoy King Kong mildly for it's effects, crazy creatures, and decent action scenes but I don't want another lecturing.

I'll say I didn't like it for it's sheer length....

Only one movie over the 2.5 hour mark has my undivided attention.  And that's Pulp Fiction.

Tales of Eternia (PSP).

I hated Gnome's Cavern... only to have it followed with Chat's Hut (8 floors of silly puzzles).  Gnome's sucked for the amount of backtracking, and Chat's sucked more for the irritating enemies that give garbage EXP (combo's aren't much fun in this title, and they provide the EXP bonuses).  FUCKIT.  Looking forward to like...all 8 of the bonus dungeons in this game IIRC.

The fruit of your labour will not go unnoticed

I wish strawberries and bananas could be sweated out then or something.  Though disturbing, if only the world was more magical...

I know that Atlus loves to spam people and all that, but this is taking things a little bit too far IMO. I don't know, for me this is a really bad joke...

Yeah, that's just weird...
One day it has no plans to come here, the next day we're getting trolled?  How unlike Atlus...or any company to be so wishy-washy...

What happens when you don't have enough? Where will i get my extra wit ?

You will be left to shrivel up like a dried fruit.  (don't wanna let go of the fruit analogy, Star made me giggle :)

Haha I know he did.  I just wanted to make a point about film budget in general.  Insofar that you don't need millions for a good movie.  I could have put any huge-budget flick really.

Yeah but the mitochondria makes her look and sound young.

Isn't sci-fi just awesome??

I LOVED Hot Fuzz. Every bit of it, actually.

You know what I didn't love? Clerks. Just saw the first 15 minutes of it, and save for a few good lines (which were already spoiled to me beforehand anyways), I can't say I found it the least bit enjoyable. I can honestly say I want those 15 minutes of my life back.

Clerks was my favorite hangover movie. It's just people talking and it's in black and white so it's easy on the brain

I love Clerks.  On top of being enlessly amusing (I'd do things to Randal), it is the perfect *in yo' face* to big-fucken-budget productions like Peter Jackson's $200 million remake of King Kong.  Don't need money to be great. =)

TitS

LOL
From this day one, you shall no longer be abbreviated as LoH.  BUT TITS.

The only bad as good movie I liked was Hot Fuzz.... but I thought they did it in a tasteful way and making fun of of cheezy cop flicks while sinking in their own humour.  Grindhouse (pt1) was another excellent title, but still kinda fails in the long haul to be memorable or re-watchable to me.
