Absolutely nothing wrong with being in touch with your masculinity enough to admit this, for instance I feel safe saying I bet you are a fine looking man :) and for that matter I  look in the mirror and think the same thing...wait, that might be conceitedness...but whatever :)

Stop hitting on Yoda :[

That's my job.

I knew it....!!!  If Yoda was gay, eh?

Don't make me drudge up that conversation you two had that I compared to two exotic animals doing a courting ritual!

this is when I knew I'd love this site

I feel like I'm missing...er, rather I've forgotten something.  The point is: I think we're all gay for Yoda.  If RPGfan were a living entity, it'd blush.

I think I'd even be happy if XSeed only translated Second Chapter and didn't bother bringing out the 3rd one since that one seems like an epilogue or more of a side story with the series actually ending  at SC, if it meant that they could bring out Zero and Ao no Kiseki to the US.

I actually would be kinda "ok" with that, especially if it means we get Zero.  I was kinda put out by the fact the 3rd starred two different people and let Estelle and Joshua take the backseat.

If they didn't bring over 3rd, we'd be missing out. See, according to my sources, 3rd isn't just an epilogue; in a way is that, but at the same time, it's more then that. It takes the action away from Liberl for the first time, and focuses more on the big picture as opposed to just Estelle and Joshua's story, and while it isn't part of the Zero/Ao stuff, it does set the stage for them, introducing various characters, concepts, and plot elements that would take prominence in those later games. So no, we shouldn't just skip on 3rd.

I meant mostly in terms of a supposed "compromise".  ...that, and hoping the 2nd doesn't end on a cliffhanger like that last....

My mum has been super kind: she lent me her debit card to do some emergency shopping while I... (a) get my first pay check from new job and (b) wait for new credit card because of the fun PSN situation (better safe than sorry, I canceled mine right away).  As sad as it is, I bought her her own Mother's Day gift with her money... of course, I plan to pay it back.

I also joined a friend of a friend who knows some new friends of mine (Facebook: it's a small world after all) in a daily sketch blog!!  It's wonderful motivation to put my lazy ass to work on bettering my craft.

I'm surprised stores sell anime aside from Naruto/Bleach/DBZ/One Piece/your mom. The boom died 4-5 years ago and anime is going back to oblivion. I think the only series I ever bought in a store was Gantz.

Yeah, it seems like it was a fad thats on it's way out, especially since actual good anime also died in the home land and went for a hardcore harem/schoolgirl/ero approach.

I am keeping myself busy.  Mall (mothers day), Gym (membership), Grocer (soup: sick bf, I am doing the stereotypical thing), and Photoshop (for my Dad of all things, he's making a manual and I'm doing his pictures!!  This is unpaid service).

I dislike waffles, mainly because they are quite plain compared to the more lovely, French Toast.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsundere Basically, it's a tough girl with a soft side, whose shell you have to crack.
A lot of love-adventure and dating sim fans are ga-ga over tsunderes.  They seem to hold some kind of "moe" appeal.  I'm not a big fan of that archetype, but whenever I play a love-adventure on "auto-pilot" I always seem to get the good ending with the tsundere first.
i think Luca for AT2 is closer to yandere.
How in the hell is Luca a tsundere?!  She starts out completely dere, and only later do you find out that she has some serious issues to deal with.  If Luca is a tsundere then the term has truly lost all meaning...

Nerds!

Another Tsundere, Luca from ArTone2 was at least cheerful and sweet before the hard-hitting emotions started to pent up.

I don't know how I forgot about this pet peeve: I fucking hate walk-in clinics.  Fucking.  Hate.

I don't see Mitsuru as a Mary Sue at all.  I mean, yes, academically and "professionally" she's damn near perfect, but in terms of interpersonal relationships, she's not that great.  She's bossy, domineering, and brusque in her social graces to a fault.  Decisiveness and confidence are great, but I would have a hard time following a leader as bossy, domineering, and somewhat lacking in tact as she is.  Again, being hard-nosed isn't necessarily bad, but there is that old saying of attracting more flies with honey than vinegar, and she was all vinegar to me.  Personally, I didn't like Mitsuru very much, but that's just me.  I'm probably in the minority.  I'm not the biggest tsundere fan, and Mitsuru is a tsundere to me.  My personal favorite of the P3 females was Yuko Nishiwaki- the strength s-link.

Nah, I'm on with this too.  I'm not a fan.  She's to strict and one-tracked to be really likable.  She softens up a bit, but again, she wasn't much fun.  Another Tsundere, Luca from ArTone2 was at least cheerful and sweet before the hard-hitting emotions started to pent up.

It was all old people. The number of people my age I know who didn't vote is fucking staggering.

Haa haaa.  No wonder "our age group" has been sending out numerous "go vote" videos and posts, it's been driving me nuts actually (FYI, I did the deed and voted).

Did they reveal any numbers like that?  % of people who actually voted and all that whatnot?
7199  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Which Final Fantasy Has The Best Story and Why? on: May 03, 2011, 10:37:15 AM
I really enjoyed Final Fantasy X. It had a great battle system, tons of sidequests, good music and graphics, and for the most part some pretty good character design.

However, I didn't like Tidus either. His development isn't a problem, because he goes through more character development then probably any other FF main character, but it's the way he sounds and his awful character design. I wonder why Square thought it would be a good idea to make Meg Ryan FFX's lead.

I kinda liked/loved VII story...
P.S. I HATE TIDUS! I HATE HIM SO MUCH! His voice, his stupidity, blitz ball, his effeminate looks.........God, I just HATE him so much.

Tidus was a piss head and largely unlikeable if he was real.  His haircut is disturbingly pretentious, his chest-bearing yellow/black overalls are hideous (redeemed only by a fancy looking sword).  His personality is too awkward amidst the rest of the cast, as well.  There were way better ways to make a sports star, and Tidus looked like he just discovered his first boner half the time.

I agree, I think it IS creepy how we are celebrating the death of someone.  But tell that to the people who's lives were changed/ruined by the loss of a loved one, and especially the innocent people who died during 9/11.  I guess to the American people, his death is a sort of closure?
