The trailer for Django Unchained dropped a few hours ago: The D is silent

HOLY ASS.  Leo Di Caprio SMILES?!?!?!
The man has been in sooo many serious flicks lately that I thought his face was going to be stuck in serious-frown-face all the time.

Can't wait.  I'm a giant nerd for Tarantino. :)

The trailer for Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph" is up.  C"mon guys, it's a Disney movie about video games, keep up.
Looks pretty cute, I can imagine the "special thanks" on a flick like this running for pages given the amount of game cameos.  I wonder what style of Street Fighter characters we'll see... raunchy 90s, or crazzy 00s. I can't help but feel like it's trying to cash in reaallly easily on its demographic though. :P

Ever have the urge to just jump when on a high surface? Not like a suicidal feeling just the urge to leap

A money code would be awesome -- I hate dealing with funds for shit.

Oh man... is it sad that I seriously want Paper Mario because of its sticker motif???  I'm getting some serrriious nostalgia from the sparkle-paper texture.  Takes me back to my grade school sticker collection and hoping to get a "GOOD WORK" sticker on tests. D:

My experience says you'll get much, much more $$$ from E-Bay or even selling them somewhere like here. Gamestop will low ball you to death.

True, but keep in mind shipping and all that.  Or the fact a lot of people don't want to go through the effort.  IIRC, you pay for listing, so you've gotta price effectively so that you actually get your stuff bought against the competitions.
You do get money, but some Gamestop deals can really help ya around if you're putting towards new stuff.

Alternatively, I've actually made some pesos through Gamestop since they don't how to price rare-items.  I buy 'em cheap, sell 'em high. :D

You mind as well make a post in the bizarre thread.

Someone hasn't been customizing weapons. ;D

Oh... and FYI, make sure when you DO beat him, turn off the game audio or keep to English, IIRC.  There's a post-game glitch that freezes the game during the ending.  Joy.

Gamestop/BestBuy usually have deals on this all the time and are more likely for exclusive preorder bonuses.  If you have old, old stuff, just go to an independent game store.

The Last of Us trailer was brilliant!!  And I'm high right now -- it went up in "osm" 10 points.
Very pretty, lotsa fucks, and a dude got hit by a brick.  Sold.

Haha I still can't really find the "art" in Mad Men, but I do enjoy the ride for whatever it is (too much sub-text that, to me, goes nowhere).

Quote
Lane wasn't a big character, but I was sad to see him go (earning a place in my heart after punching the fuck out of Campbell).  I can't say I really sympathized with him that much because he was such a secondary character, I never really felt he had hit a "bottom" so hard as to hang himself.  The event and the way it was done (the little details like destroying his glasses or not having his car start or making a "resignation letter"), but I'm not particularly blue or find it a "big season shocker" or whatever.  The office's reaction was subtle, but professional even in such a dark moment.

Sally's "boyfriend" creeps me the hell out, and I hate them two together because I find him a putz. That, and I have a personal vendetta against young teenaged men with peach-fuzz mustaches.  I didn't care for, um, Mother Rosemary finding Sally as the whole "you have now started a new life; you're life as a woman!", but I thought it was great to see Betty defrost a bit and enjoy being a mother for once by feeling a bond with her kid.  Ah well, at least Sally finally got to wear her tramp boots she couldn't earlier this season.

No Peggy this week.  Good form (helps make her departure feel legit and in something she was confident in).  Hope to see her back in good shape next season! :D

The Gamecube controller isn't too bad but I don't like the thin handles. They put your fingers into a tight grip, rather than just resting in your open palms like a 360 controller.

Hard to meet the needs of everyone's hand sizes.  Haha, I found the 360 controller too clunky. :P

I'm loving this giant hips thing that's trending right now.  lawl

Colour me curious on this one, knew nothing at all otherwise since it didn't exactly scream STATE-SIDE graphically.

With most 3D games, seems like analog is bigger than the directional pad.  Now to have an uneven match between the analog and the action buttons... I feel like we got another lop-sided N64 controller, where you're holding the right 2/3's of the controller diagonally.

*sigh*.  I wish we just got a new GameCube controller.
I still hate this tablet thing too.  I'm really hoping they work on making that comfy for human hands, it just seems downright clunky for any sort of hardcore gaming.

You forgot about the PS3 version of Vesperia, which had way more content than the 360 version. Didn't even get a dlc option for it on 360. It's stuff like this that makes me ride the jp onry train.

I hope I am just being a pessimistic fuckhole, but whamco blandai has shit in my cereal before, so I keep a realistic feet firmly on the ground approach to this.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, very little was missed with Vesperia PS3.  Most importantly, it doesn't save the train wreck of a story it was.  I'm only sad we lost out on a non-copy/paste bonus dungeon.  The other dungeon that was added, meant to be hit thanks to storyline, was an annoying dark/light mechanic sewer dungeon in Dahngrest.  In the PS3 version, you had to cross it, it took about 20 minutes.  In the 360 version, you just had to walk to the other side of town....

If anything, I'd yell at Namdai for keeping files on the 360 that have coding for Patty and English voice clips for Rita's Indignation (fishy fishy).

I'm surprised MS still cares about exclusivity by this point anyways.  The game is OOP, not like they're really making money off it.
