7666  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly on: February 13, 2011, 03:27:11 AM
The Good: having fun settling in to life in Indonesia. Love the beautiful weather every day.

The Bad: Everyone uses squatty potties here.

The Ugly: They also don't use toilet paper...

My thoughts exactly when I used to visit my uncle's kampong as a child. :P

Although, admittedly, the toilet styles don't bother me as much (most bathrooms in state schools use that kind).

Makes me wonder - so girls squat too??  I wouldn't be comfortable with that unless I had a funnel....

If I weere a man, I"d have a stiff one for getting this.  I was all happy about hearing this title when it was still in it's japanesu haydey.

I think I'll splurge and get spec-ed as well...get that awesome pin....but yah, the other good...dunno where I can where the pin without looking strange.  Then again, putting pins of backpacks is like the "it" college thing to do.
7668  The Rest / The Helper Monkey / Re: Star Ocean 2 questions on: February 13, 2011, 03:23:50 AM
This belongs in the Helper Monkey area.... but you're new and us RPGfan people are shockingly independant.

Um, as far as I know there is only one ending for same sexy couples.  And they give more of the "bromance" vibe, though people looking for that sort of thing may read otherwise (like how many of these fan-relations work, but I guess that's what freeing and funfun about SO2).  The second question can be answered by YouTube or a Gamefaqs topic (IIRC) that actually briefs on the endings.... mannny really aren't that exciting, and I'm glad they abolished the system because, fo such a short title, not that many really get their due development let alone PAs (worst yet, a lot of character's have to get these endings through battle relations insteadof fucking around and getting to know peeps in PAs....fucken PAs, hey're awesome and awfyl).

I hope that made sense, I'm kinda drunkr.

I must be the only person besides a few of my friends that loved Stella Deus.  Also, the soundtrack by Iwata and Sakimoto was amazing.  It was a slow game but I enjoyed the story.

Your last sentence was all there really was to it though. Well, no.  Pretty much everything but gameplay was good.  Everything. Haha

What kind of puzzles are in the wild arms games? Are they block pushers?

Every kind.  Blocks being a major side quest of the 3rd title (where you match same colours, but there's easy risks to not finish it "properly").  Tools in the game are given to each character for the sole purpose of solving dungeon puzzles.

Wild Arms 3-5 (and 1 & 2 on PSN)
7672  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Co-op RPGs on: February 12, 2011, 04:56:54 PM
Legend of Mana

Argh!  I can't believe I forgot that after going with Secret of....  I liked 2P of this too.

Otherwise, I think bro and I made use of other genres for our 2p joy.

I"d be tempted if it was a hacked version.  There's so many PSX titles I'm dying to replay that just aren't getting PSN treatment... =(

I hate all Indian food.I will never understand why people like it.

Anyway its Saturday so naturally I have to spend some time with my family.Heading out to downtown Los Angeles in the hope of getting mugged.

My next door neighbour is Indian - I've grown up with it and loooooovvee everything I smell from there.  I just don't know what it is.  I might take some food I made to her and see if we can exchange some.....

Some of the Indian food I have tried has truly been hit or miss otherwise.  I gotta find a "good" joint, not one of those little hole-in-the-plaza ones.

I've been meaning to try more Asian in general.  Where I live has a bunch of really yummy thai places.  I wanna find some Japanese and Chinese that isn't (again) hole-in-the-wall that you frequent as a bachelor/ette, or a Mandarin.

I second Baldur's gate and Secret of Mana..... co-op RPGs otherwise are a rare breed unless you hit the MMORPG.

Pretty cool sum up of the year actually - I approve of this list.
7677  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: What's the haps? on: February 11, 2011, 09:25:40 PM
just had some indian takeout, +1 is napping, and we're soon to leave for a bar to get drizzunk

I wanna try Indian food.

My +1 is getting stoned (I'm doing work to join)

I haven't had a beer in months.... I'm sad.

*returns to booksh*

The Ugly:
That hentai i downloaded a few days ago was not what i was expecting. There are some things you can't unsee *shivers*[/color]

"Dick nipples" made me regret things.
7679  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Most anticipated RPGs on Nintendo 3DS on: February 11, 2011, 02:12:18 PM
I am not interested in the system but i want KH3D.

I do too... provided it isn't as bad a step-back as Re:coded was.... wtf was that about??

And hopefully nothing to gimmicky with the jumping around techs.

The Good:
About a month ago I found an old wallet in my room with a FIFTY dolla-dolla bill yo.  I was really happy, and went with the boyfriend and got a steak.  Fucken awesome day.

Got an 85% on a paper I completed in one day (started at 7pm, finished at 4am though....)! :D

The Bad:
Someone in my lecture sneezed, then someone else fucken coughed as the professor gave important information.  This is more of a nit-pick, but it happens every goddamn time!!!  I plan to boycott any bodily clearings of larynx and/or nasal cavity.

I was in class, and two chatty fuckers were making it hard for me to hear what prof was saying.  I whisper "Hey, I'm trying to listen, can you keep it down?" he goes, "fine, geez, will you fucken relax?".... nice... speaking we pay almost like...$50 or so per class.

The Ugly:
One was a tiny, but revealing, pimple on the tip of my nose - I walked around like Rudolph when I accidentally wiped off the make up there.  Worst yet, was this followed another case where I was stirring HOT pasta sauce, and a bubble splashed up on the tip of my nose, leaving again, a tiny, but revealing, red burn splotch. Mother, brother, father, boyfriend, best friend, basically people who love me, laughed at it.

I got a bad mark on a paper and did one of those "crying in the toilet stall" things (I wasn't expecting it, and it was a big mark).
