I'm not going to deny that I didn't have similar reaction..we've been waiting for a new Tales game forever...and the fact that it appears to be a solid title - ahhhhhh can't wait!

I think we'll wait a while. They haven't even given us a year for the release =/

I seriously doubt over a year.  Is it that hard to translate stuff > develop?

On a side note.  Fuck wii-motes (the name is retarded enough), games should no be played on measly remotes.  So viva la PS3 who seem to ackowledge a good controller having not changed it in like 15 years.

EDIT: huh.  Tales forum not impressed with review thus far (despite the high rating).... fucking hell, eh?

I gave up on Tsubasa Chronicles long ago. It's pretty obvious they'll stay lost forever because that serie is printing money.
If they ever get back home, it will be in 10 years after 5 movies, 2 anime series and 500 more chapters... kinda like how Inuyasha did it

Inuyasha has one of the worst endings ever too

Actually even better - it did end.  The second series was apparently so bad that CLAMP wouldn't allow any more anime adaptions (so I hear).  If you're that uninterested in the ending, like I said, they pull a bit of a Futurama "I am my own grandfather" paradox (it was done in the most pretentious ways possible to boot, in a CLAMP magical-romance way haha) - it's convoluted and for the life of me, I can't re-summarize it for you, the wikipedia summaries were obtuse enough.

You do that, I'll be busy buying drinks for the Amazon Warrior from Golden Axe

I'll just be out back with Kirby, smokin a blunt (I know it says "cigarettes", but yuck, fuck those).
Kirby's Dream Land look like trippy versions of reality sometimes anyhow.

...on a side note, why does the Code Geass cast pull sad faces that reach the edge of their entire face?

It's the CLAMP style. Same reason their arms and legs are twice as long while half as thin.

I'm not a fan of the new elongated clamp style - they used to be so wonderfully detailed (CCS was one, MKR took hair shading to a new level, and Chobits had a unique style on its own....credit to the artst for her versatility, just not caring for the latest work... A Tsubasa was fucked up enough with the "Futurama-esque Grandpaw Paradox")

I'm gonna join Alucard (a la Symphony of the Night) for his Bar Mitzvah.  See what happens...should be cool.  I know Christian things can kill vampires, but can Jewish things?  I will have to document on such rare phenomena.

I'm not sure it was mentioned in the 20 pages of discussion, but I for one will enjoy playing this game where the hero is the secret lovechild of Disco Stu and Suzaku Kururugi.

(I wish I still had the image about that)

Haha OMG, I thought I was the only one who called him that!!  Those white blazer, popped collar, and bell bottoms are pure discotheque fashion.

...on a side note, why does the Code Geass cast pull sad faces that reach the edge of their entire face?

Pissy youngsters!!

Read from Right to Left.
Taken from the Berserk Manga - and quite frankly I think this one is better without context.

100%'d Kirby Super Star Ultra.  Fuck with me, The True Arena sucked ass, it was TOUGH (especially for a Kirby title, Squeak Squad can be done, 100%, in less than 5 hours).  I struggled through it only to find some fucker on YouTube take out the final boss without getting hit.  Lucky bitch....

Movies I saw this weekend and my FB reviews of them:
The Kids Are All Right
I liked this movie, but not as much as I expected to. While the setup may be different, the results were all too predictable. The Paul/Jules "thing" I saw coming from a mile away. I even thought as it was happening that it would play out differently, but nope. Same old cliche. Still, despite these issues, it's a movie that makes you care about these people, and that's really the core of it all. The people. The "family" unit. However non-traditional it may be.

Fantastic Mr. Fox
This was a pretty slick movie, with a few bizarre parts that kept it from being great. The stop motion animation was pretty well done, if a tad jarring. The story was kinda ridiculous, but fun at the same time. Like a melding of cartoonish actions with wit, and a bit of modern sensitivity. I can see how this may have turned some people off, but all things considered it's a pretty darn good movie.

Yeah - I wasn't too fond of the Kids Are All Right.  Fantastic performances throughout, but the oscar buzz should stop there.  Some parts were like cliche's simply injected in (aww, a bad night at home has the daughter binge drink and makeout with some fella, of course, always happens).  I think it's the unconventional set-up of "moms" that's part of the charm, and while a good story, they make Ruffalo to be more of a prick than I thought he was.

Apparently, Mr. Fox's "rugged" animation was intentional to simply look more "like that".  I love how well this film translates to other Wes Anderson features (pretty much transferring his flat style to puppets).  The hot-box demonstration was one of my favorite parts, it's so complicated, but performed perfectly by the perfect cousin.  Ridiculous story, but just as fun and filled with such silly and unique character (like all of Wes' features).  Oh, and I loved the "brotherhood" moment they have with the gallant wolf.

When it comes to sweets I'm basically a big fat lady

Loved this

So did anything else come from that clusterfuck image, or were those additional images there just to pretend like Namdai knew how to make a mysterious announcement that people couldn't instantly figure out?

Also, it was meant to fuck with Tales-tards who PMS over the series.

Lotsa text in it I hear, if you can read it.  I heard not too many pictures either....
