Forget everything you knew

One step ahead of you there, buddy!

I think the same every time this thread gets bumped.

For the umpteenth time I'm more pissed, angry, and manic than I've been in a month. Why does it always seem like nobody else gives a shit?

Because no one likes pissed, angry, and manic folk?
What shall we give shits about -- what's troublin' ya?

I wanna find a new job.  One of my buds is leaving, and the new Gamestop policies have turned the job to Communist Russia (and we're a stupid busy location, if it's not Toronto's EB reeling money, it's ours, so head office looooves paying us a visit).  Now me and one other girl are non-closers (i.e. less responsibility fun-ployees), and everyone who is a key-holder will judge us even if we're in between tasks and tell us to get busy.  If one of us is caught slacking, the key holder that night gets written up too along with us, with only one strike to get it.  What the fuck.  I want out.  I hate how they make it feel like it's our fault for shitty sales this month -- not our fault Prototype 2 was one of the "big listing" titles this month.  Not many people are too eager to spend upwards to $70 on an 8 hour game.

Argh... been meaning to find and watch the old Batman series.  I don't remember the action much though, and an opening is a bad way to relate the rest of the series.  But... yeah, I remember good things at least.

I didn't get the GoT ending this week.  The corpse was odd?  My attention sort of drifts in and out for the episodes while I do other work... =/

Mad Men was pretty good, Betty wasn't too annoying.  I actually like her as the "ex-wife", and Megan as the wifey.

No more New Girl till next season. D:

Yodes: Road to Perdition is probably in my Top 20 list.

Lightning's Story "Requiem of the Goddess" trailer

Thanks to PlayStation HK we now have the first trailer for Lightning's Story: Requiem of the Goddess. -- Source: Nova Crystallis

Hmm..  This is hopefully cheap, as far as I could tell, you fight Caius only (multiple forms don't count), or gives story deets.... or hell, I may just watch it on YouTube, save some pesos.

I agree actually...
But to answer your last point:

I don't know how popular it is in Japan.

IIRC, it ain't.

I need some roach in the worst way.

As it stands I drank cheap tequila last night and my head feels like it has sandpaper in it

I had a headache then too... worked wonders.

The Good: We ate at a place called "Hockey Sushi" :D
The Bad?: There is no "hockey" at "Hockey Sushi". >=/

Worked, horrid day, lousy customers, and generally a busy day. Why store policy is so hard to understand, then get yelled for it when we're not the ones who implement it is so, so strange.

Basically, this lady's line of reasoning was that "an identical item" doesn't mean the same as "the same item". I smiled otherwise, and said no only to rinse and repeat... it was still 15 minutes longer than I wanted to deal with the issue.

Anyways...Finished work, met with buds, and then drank and smoked a roach at one of my bud's place. Came home, watched some anime and Korra over homemade soup (that shit cures disease). The night got better. Very Happy.

Oh man, what an awesome episode of Legend of Korra!!!

- The roof top fight was outstanding -- like Agent D said, cartoons have never been so good.  It was awesome to see Bei Fong in action, as well as how far metal bending has come along since its beginnings with Toph.
- The bit with the Announcer getting eletrocuted was pretty funny.
- I liked Korra and Tenzin's moment with who he dated -- which reminds me, I would love to see the man kick some butt now that we've seen what Bei Fong can do (as far as lineage goes?).
- Seriously??  How crooked is Pro Bending to let THAT many penalties slide?  Too contrived and worked into just happened to work well with Amon's speech.
- Loved the new flash back set.
- I dunno... I wonder if the build up to Amon's identity might disappoint.  Like the son of Yokkol or whatever the GAang dealt with.  I love how he just sort of jumped off the platform and turned away, safe from Korra's flame kick, while causing everyone else to fall..  BADASS.  But not convinced -- he definitely seems like he can do worse.

Eugh, that makes me sad... I had this inkling that Burton has been losing his touch the last little while, and I was one the fence about this one.  You seem to be confirming them fears. =/

Over 100 Mark:
- Dark Cloud 2 (first)
- Star Ocean 2
- Star Ocean 3 (fucking IC and Sphere)
- Tales of Symphonia
- Tales of Vesperia (achievement!)

Everything other major RPG I've played has been mostly 40-70 hours.

Walking Dead 80s Style intro. It's amazing what some editing can do.

Pretty...I dunno, I guess unorthodox opening?  Very simple, kinda lovely.  ...it also sounds like a lot of commercials we're getting up here in Canaderr-eh.

Don actually had a zinger that episode: on the phone, "No we're just pulling a hysterical joke on you" or something.

- I feel Community can't really do as good an episode unless it's a clip show or themed episode :O At the very least they seem to be some of the better ones.
- Guaranteed half of this episode was just ideas that had been scrapped for normal episodes and put into a clever set of clips. x)
- Really good episode this week, nonetheless, lots of laughs and outrageous stuff (love the stupid classes... "ladders" *applause*, "breathing deeply", and "what can you fry?" --- not french fries).
- Also, is it just me or is Allison Brie getting more screen time than Gillian Jacobs? Not that I mind, Britta has been annoying with the constant "IM A PSYCH MAJOR" shtick (even the characters get tired of it).

Goddammit.  End it.  Please.  Andy fucking sucks, and the show is more than finished, it's not even being very funny anymore.  This season can only be watched because it was free.  The only highlights were Oscar's love life (I root for the guy, he's one of few normies on the show), the coconut-penis drink, and the velcro suit.  The rest??  Eugh.

30 Rock
Meh.  Good moments.  I get sick of the Jenna plots.  THey're great for how backwards they are, but even her problems get old.
