As long as they aren't climbing a tower that only appears at night to fight the representation for Death, it shouldn't really be a problem.

Thermae Romae is one of those cases where most people who follow anime have heard of it, but not many have actually seen it. I think Discotek has the rights to it though.

The obscure one that I like is Project Blue Earth S.O.S. It's basically an anime take on the adventure serials of the 1930s-50s, complete with the garbled science. It's a six episode OVA, but the episodes are 45 minutes each, so it's more like a somewhat oddly paced 12 episode series.

Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga (NOT Ego Draconis) is a lot of fun.

Oh come on, Canada isn't that bad. From Toronto, it only takes like 5 hours to get to Quebec and a couple days to reach Manitoba. The people who think a couple hours is far are wimps.

I remember some people called Fate/Extra a Persona clone, but that just baffled me. Yeah, it has the school aspect, but it approaches everything completely differently.

Regardless, I'll keep an eye on this because a different spin on the Persona 3/4 formula might be really interesting.

It's really unclear. Atelier Iris 2 is clearly a prequel to 1, but 3 has none of the same characters and the world works very differently.

The story is unconnected, but the gameplay is very much improved and very fast. It's somewhat difficult to go back to the previous games. The only connection Grand Phantasm has is that one of the characters is named Iris. This is also the only game in the Atelier Iris trilogy where you control a character actually named Iris.

It appears to be because Tecmo Koei's Western efforts are entirely focused on Europe. While that's not bad, it's kind of odd. They have an American branch, but apparently no advertising staff. At all.

I found that the original Shadow Hearts didn't differentiate dungeons all that well and the thing where you had to fight to reduce Malice was an interesting idea, but it was really annoying. It was really satisfying to get the true ending though.

The first Atelier Iris is somewhat clunky, but it is very charming. I prefer the second one, but I find the trilogy a lot of fun. The third is the weakest when it comes to story, but the battle system is really good.

These choices are baffling. Tecmo should make at least some effort to advertise by like, you know, telling people about it? Why don't they just let NISA do it for that matter? This way is guaranteed to lose them sales through ignorance.

Grandia and Seiken Densetsu III's ghost ships aren't that bad.

The fact that Square Enix is bringing out Kingdom Hearts 1.5 should be the biggest indicator this will come out. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 requires more effort to localize because of the 385/2 Days videos. Final Fantasy X and X-2 have like one single section that doesn't already have voice acting, and advertising it as the International versions will guarantee sales. It's a really cheap localization with a large guaranteed profit.
