Number Two's eyes narrowed and became what are known in the Shouting and Killing People trade as cold slits, the idea presumable being to give your opponent the impression that you have lost your glasses or are having difficulty keeping awake. Why this is frightening is an, as yet, unresolved problem.

At this rate I'm scared you may never get halfway through an RPG. :P
This is why I didn't recommend any Shin Megami Tensei games. If he's having this much trouble with Final Fantasy a Jack Frost's Bufu would obliterate him. Anyway hang in there keep training and you should be fine.

I blame you. And me. We spoilt (spell-check is telling me that word doesn't exist but I'm sure it does) him with choice. When I was young I had one RPG to get me through the year. If you didn't like it you MADE yourself like it. Fuck, I sound like my grandpa.

...I need an adult...

You bet your ass you do.

manscaping?

I talk about that in my podcasts

No, i think I've got all the information I need on that. How about some of the questions I have asked on the deals topic that no one will answer.
2494  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: RPGFan Podcast Thread on: November 22, 2010, 01:32:17 PM
I have LOTS of questions, but no one seems willing to answer them. probably because they are not RPG related and not very appropriate.
2495  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: were you a good RPGfan this year? Xmas wishlist. on: November 22, 2010, 01:39:18 AM
I've been a very good RPGfan ^_____^

Me and my +1 are skint because we are moving back to Scotland (me on December 2nd, him on January 3rd) so we wont be getting each other presents and we have basically told everyone to help us pay our deposit on our new flat for Christmas :P

That being said I'm STILL probably going to be spending time looking at all the shit in the shops leading up to Christmas because Glasgow at Christmas time is INSANE.

I feel like all we ever talk about around the forums these days is Shin Megami Tensei, but you are most definiately looking for a Persona game. Character driven story, set in the present day with fantastic gameplay and a good story.

Hah! Up yours, I beat you guys by SEVERAL HOURS.

How much do  you suck? Please , re-evaluate your life choices and elect me Czar of RPGfan.

EDIT: Do you elect Czars or are they like normal Royalty and it just gets passed on like a family heirloom? Also, how do dynasties start? I mean, is a royal title just given to the first person in the country who says "Dibs on being royalty"?

EDIT2: No one has answered my question yet so I'm just going to ask another question. What is the statistics of Serial Killer to Non-Serial Killers. Because RPGfan has almost 8000 members and I want to know the likelyhood of one of us being a mass murderer. I'm going to say that I'm NOT a serial killer, but that is something a serial killer would TOTALLY say.

EDIT3: I can do this all day people. Why am I still using googlemail even though it INSISTS on not sending out the emails I write, or gives me the emails people send me that have attachments. More than once it has locked me out of it while google "investigates" my account, like I'm some kind of government spy or using it to write love letters to known terrorists.

Wouldn't this fit better in Brush and Quill?

Maybe developers just need to take a break from making JRPGs for a while and to get some new inspiration. Then they can come back and start making new RPGs and series once they're refreshed and have new ideas or at least new inspirations.

Are you suggesting...I wait...no. I have no idea what you are suggesting.

RPG developers should stop working on RPGs and start working on adventure games for a while? Sort of like a palette cleanser?

I don't think inspiration is the problem here. The problem is tired work ethics, corporate suits breathing down their necks, unrealistic expectations and the economy.

We were going to see it today, but I ended up getting sick :( Typical.

Apparently the cinema was mobbed anyway, so I doubt we would have gotten tickets.
2505  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Sex and Violence in Gaming on: November 19, 2010, 04:55:25 PM
Sexual references have become so commonplace I hardly even register them any more, and I don't think it would bother me if it did. The only reason it would annoy me is if it popped up every other scene. But that can be said for anything, repetition is boring. As for violence...eh. As a jrpg lover, I don't think I've ever been overly exposed to violence (and I'm a pussy so I don't watch many horror movies).

That being said, I loved the anime Higurashi: When they cry, and it could be pretty brutal at times. So I guess violence doesn't bother me either.
