This just seems like hackers playing a game at this point. Kind of like a fight in the schoolyard, your disappointed when it ends.

I meant my blood was getting riled because you seemed to be confusing being forced to play a silly game after a hard days manual labour at the threat of being beaten with chasing some self-fulfilment with something you enjoy doing in your free time.

I though I was gonna have to reach for some medication while reading that, before I got to the end sarcasm bit. x.x

I don't think its hilarious at all. I know what you mean, it's surreal and absurd, but I don't think it's funny. On top of the labour they are already receiving and depriving them of sleep, beating them if they don't fill some abstract quota, it is terrifying the indifference that humanity can have to the suffering of others.  Prisons are horrible places and while they provide a necessary function, your human rights don't end when you enter one. Though human rights don't really exist, it's just a good philosophy to follow. x.x But I digress.

Just to clarify, I was just using Kevadu's comment to work my own in, I don't think that he is in objection to much of what I said. :P

I downloaded it and tried it a little, it looked pretty nice actually. I couldn't play it for long as my laptop ended up going supernova on me and I didn't want to play it wearing gloves and a lead vest.
2814  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Hello, now how do I handle all these games..... on: May 25, 2011, 07:31:15 AM
I guess the best thing you can do is heavily research every aspect of a game before you play it, read reviews, watch a Let's Play of the first 10 minutes or so on Youtube, look for some opinions from people who have the same taste as you, that way you have a better idea what you are getting into without committing yourself to it.

Anyway, glad to have you here on the boards. I hope you enjoy it. :)

House stopped being good midway through season 4, when it became about the soap opera and not the medicine.

I'd have to agree. Far too much focus spent on the lives of his extremely boring team members.

Watched the season finale of House. What a piece of crap.
