I don't think there is anything on that top 20 list I could deny as being worthy of being on it. Of course, I don't like some of those games, Kingdom Hearts to name one.
It breaks my heart to see Mana Khemia in the Hall of Shame list, because I love that game so much, though the PSP port does sound 20 kinds of awful.

I could lose a lot of things, I would rather lose my passport than my wallet.
If I lose my passport I report it missing and get a new one. If I lose all my money, bank cards, my library card, college card, keys, etc. It's a bigger deal.

Puzzles aren't anything deep; I do hate the dungeon where that tit-horse-monster follows you, though.
Oh my God, is it an indication of how much of a pussy I am that that part scares me shitless?

In short, yes, DD1 and 2 are worth getting. I think a lot of people have said that those two games are their favorites of the SMT series itself.
I think each game is about 40 hours long, though I can't say for sure. The stories quality is fantastic, though it becomes a bit incoherent near the end in typical JRPG gonna fuck with your head and defy logic fashion. Battles, as always with SMT, are fun. There aren't a lot of puzzles to solve, if any at all, other than flip switch to open door.
Can't comment on the music, game music has never been my thing. I wasn't displeased with it though. I just don't remember it.

Just finished watching "Quills", I thought it was great amusement. Very funny.
I'm down with one of my chronic ear infections so usually I line up a few movies I want to watch in preparation. That was one of them.
Next is "Hable con ella", and eventually The Three Colours Trilogy (Blue, White, Red) - I hear many good things.

Current example: Girl whines about being single all the time, she starts dating a guy she considers to be great. A guy who visited her house to give her a hug before he went to work. The problem? He doesn't own a car or know how to drive one.
What the hell has to be wrong inside your head for that to be an issue? The mind fucking boggles.
I've known her for over a year now and I honestly did not know she was crazy.
I don't find it completely unreasonable to stop dating someone that doesn't drive/have a license. I would be annoyed having to be the one to always pick up/drop off the guy, worry about gas, etc. How old is he? Well... if she really did like him, maybe she should've at least helped him get his license... *shrug* Or just move on and find a guy that does drive. Well, if it is such a big deal to her, maybe she should learn to drive herself? She is 18. So is he. I maybe should mention that none of my friends drive, I don't drive, she doesn't drive, my dad didn't learn to drive until he was in his 30's. I don't think anyone I went to school with knows how to drive yet. I don't want to generalize, but I do live in the UK, and public transport is the way most teens - mid-twenties travel. Everything is much closer together than say the vast stretches of nothingness in the USA or Australia. I remember my Australian friend always going on about how she can't believe teenagers in our town didn't want to drive, when apparently it was a big deal for her and her friends. A car would be impractical and expensive for us, when it costs me only £3 to travel into Glasgow by train, or £2 to get a return ticket to my college and back. If she was American, I would understand because its far more practical and there is a social aspect to it, but she isn't. Also, as an update: she is still going out with him, but is still moaning about his lack of driving ability. I think she just wants to complain and that guy is so near practically perfect that its sickening that she is hard up for things to moan about. She does love to complain.
