I used to drink milk pretty much constantly growing up. I was always being told off for drinking it all, to the point where my parents had to start doubling the amount of milk they got delivered. Weirdly, I don't drink so much of it now but growing up I have an insatiable craving for it.

I'm almost sure an American cup of tea is different from a British one.

i drink various forms of black teas mostly.

I don't load it up with cream and sugar like you louts do

:P My dad and step-dad drink it black (they are MANLY men). I need the milk and sugar though.

Tea is my vice. I need it when I wake up in the morning. Otherwise I start picking on Hugh for the MOST ANNOYING hue his skin is that morning and why isn't breakfast ready yet, to which he will reply I don't eat breakfast, to which i'll kick him in the face.

Absolutely nothing wrong with being in touch with your masculinity enough to admit this, for instance I feel safe saying I bet you are a fine looking man :) and for that matter I  look in the mirror and think the same thing...wait, that might be conceitedness...but whatever :)

Stop hitting on Yoda :[

That's my job.

I knew it....!!!  If Yoda was gay, eh?

Don't make me drudge up that conversation you two had that I compared to two exotic animals doing a courting ritual!

How many chapters are there in this game? I just started chapter two and I'm getting that very rare feeling when i play a game of "I never want this to end!"

Anxiously hoping the Alternative Voting system gets enough support in the UK.

What is that?

The way the current British voting system works is each person gets one vote for one political party. It's not a very good system, as their are so many political parties here you can end up with a party in power which only 30% of the population voted for. That means 70% of the population gets a leader they do not want.

The alternative voting system is basically: You give as many political parties as you want a number. The party you want to win the most gets a "1", the one after that gets a "2" and so on.

In the end the party with the least votes get's knocked out of the race, if it was your number 1, your vote will go to your number 2. If your number 2 gets knocked out of the race your vote goes to your number 3 choice. And so on until we have a winner with more than 50% of the vote.

A comparison I liked that helped people understand it was it is basically just like The X Factor (Or American idol, or whatever). You have 12 potential singers that the public vote on each week, the one with the least votes gets sent home and the vote happens again the next week with the remaining 11 singers.

Basically the UK's current voting system is like the person with the most votes out of the 12 singers is the immediate winner, rather than narrowing down the contestants each week until you get a result which over half of the voters are happy with. It's not very good.

I know about your Us.

I thought you were Scottish? Don't make William Wallace cry

I have no problem being British :P I do get REALLY cranky when people call us English though. Or just use England as a catch-all term for Britain. Call it petty or whatever, but I know a lot of people here don't like it at all. It's mostly because when Scottish people do something of note they are usually called British-born, and then people start calling them English eventually.

It's just trying to break that Groundskeeper Willy stereotype we encounter when we go abroad.

@Mesh: For the record I don't sound like this. I never really had a particularly strong accent to begin with, but when I moved to Ireland I had to pretty much phase out whatever little accent I had to make people understand me, so I now speak like people from the BBC.

Anyway, here is what people from Glasgow sound like.

(Also, just to note, I do not like this comedian)
