My friend got married this weekend. Had a brief non-religious ceremony and a very fun reception.

He's a big gamer. Rings were delivered in a halo-reach briefcase and he walked out to the god of war theme.  There were some more game references but I got drunk and can't remember them

Are you serious? And why haven't you been banned yet?

Cause I like him, and people I like don't get banned.

And now you hang out on a site full of them.

So it's in line with mainstream reviews, looks like the game really hasn't aged well.
Is the random encounter rate and dungeon design worse than in the Persona 1 remake?

Random encounter rate is high and the dungeon design is not the best, but much better than P1

Thanks Grim and Kay. :) Staying very positive, best thing is to just carry on. He will be fine, I'm sure of it.

I'm usualy rather private and don't share stuff about myself that I think is too personal, but I'm rather fragile right now. Some of you may know my boyfriend has been sick for some time. He went for tests a couple of weeks ago and we got the results today. It was not the news we were hoping for. He doesn't like me talking about it, so I won't say much more. I just...feel...ugh.

It's not an RTS. :P I agree that the art is bland but Fire Emblem has always been like that. I wish they would stop it, but these people aren't the best at making good decisions.

My friend just became a dual citizen of Ireland/USA and he can retire there w/ full healthcare benefits.

Yeah, Ireland does at least have free healthcare for the elderly and unemployed (or people who make less than a certain amount). I had lived there for two years with Hugh, and apparently my ties with the country were not "strong" enough. Of course, if Hugh was a woman, that would be a different story.

EDIT: Of course, you could have meant N. Ireland, which has the NHS.

and the government wouldn't cover me medically

Poor European kid, having to pay for stuff!

Haha, yes yes, I know you have it worse. I'm afraid the NHS is just something I have been raised around and I really think it is amazing, and not having that security there is very frightening.

I don't get frozen dinners. Or why people buy them. They taste like shit, they look like shit, they are bad for you and they are overpriced. Even when Hugh and I were at our poorest when we lived in Ireland and the government wouldn't cover me medically, we still bought proper food (cheap ingredients) and made tasty food.
