It worked for me, and I have also soiled myself.

Though, those are unrelated incidents - I just thought I would let you know.

I had to sell my PS3 ages ago to pay the rent ;_; so we just have an Xbox and that doesn't have the demo.

I am really psyched about this game though as i've watched tonnes of footage and it looks like it could be really fun. Sindel hair-tossing action!

Sindel, because she is worth it!

Your swimming suit argument is flawed. You make it sound like people dress their children in bathing costumes so they can be gawked at. I don't know about you guys, but any girls i've seen at the swimming pool who are less than 15 years old usually wear a one-piece number. Like a leotard or whatever, because it is good for swimming in. Same for little boys and their trunks or shorts. We are hardly going to send the children into the pull with a winter coat on and some wellington boots.

It's so the children can swim without being weighed down by their clothes. It's practical.

I think each reviewer comes up with the score on their own. I mean, one being higher than the other doesn't mean anything if they are not written by the same reviewer.

Etrian Odyssey comes to mind. 1 and 2 got a score in the high 80's. While 3, because Tooker reviewed it and he wasn't the one who reviewed 1 and 2, gave it only 75%. It makes it look like there was a marked decrease in the quality of the games when in fact 3 is the best in the series (I think), and Tooker gave it a score which he though was more fair.

I actually agree with Tooker's lower score even though I'm a big fan of the series.

Ah, I have had no experience with the PSP version - I overlooked the "PSP" part when you said Mana Khemia as I was flooded with good memories.

I need to track down the first Ar Tonelico, as I have two but I really want to play the first one before it. Soon.

Supersonic: I actually have an interest in the AT series. The thing is, as someone who is not within the demographic that this sort of humour, innuendo or sexuality is supposed to cater to, I have to weigh up whether the game is fun enough to like DESPITE that. AT 1 and 2, from what I've read and heard from people on the Fan, seem to be the sort of games I can grow to love despite it. AT3 however seems to have very little redeeming qualities as I cannot even enjoy it for its gratuitous sexual scenes.

I did love Mana Khemia as it so happens. ;D

Quite good, quite good. Then no great loss has occurred.

As for this game, I literally couldn't have any less desire to watch ten year old girls strip.

The only thing that has made me a bit wary about all this is that now I am scared to disagree with a review in case I get banned. Of course, I wouldn't be nearly as douchey as WildArms but the feeling is definitely there.

Someone hold me and tell me everything is going to be okay. ;_;

I'll stick with it, there is definite potential. Just right now, here in the middle, where I am crossing Lavis Hill and Grand Plains for the thirith time in an hour, it's beginning to reek of filler.

Should I bother saying that Satoshi Tajiri isn't dead or is it just stupid people on twitter that think he is.

I'm not a fan of SRPGs and I think I'm half way through this one. That says something. I'm probably doing the demon fusion thing wrong, but I basically heep fusing demons as soon as I gain a level rather than keep the ones I like. I'd rather see them all.

That is precisely what you are meant to do. For the love of god don't keep a demon that you like for too long, they quite quickly lose their edge. Fusing them into higher demons is always a good idea.

When people go on these sorts of random, ill-thought out ramblings I tend to think they just don't speak English very well and what they are really asking me is "Where is the local discothèque, my good friend".

There isn't one - not since 1983.

Lay down ye yearly harvest in the shrine to Mother Nature! Unless ye want her wrathful vengeance upon ye!

Yeah, never let anyone make you get rid of the hobbies that make you happy. Unless your hobby is bringing pre-op transsexual prostitutes to hotel rooms (and not for a nice game of poker, neither). Then you might have to go into negotiations.

I am not liking this game as much as I thought I would, half way through. Which is a real shock to me. There is just a lot of tedium in it I guess, and the dialogue while written beautifully is starting to feel bland and lifeless. Maybe this is just fatigue.
