Okay, I was staying with my Gran for a couple of days, which meant I got plenty of reading done because she has not internet connection and I don't watch TV. So, yeah, I finished Faith of the Fallen. I feel awful for still wanting to read the next book, but I'm just so invested in these characters it seems a shame to stop. I do like them.

Faith of the Fallen wasn't bad, I've read bad books, this wasn't bad. It was just...preachy and misguided. Richards character got messed up in this book, doing some things that are very unlike him.

Also starting to think Terry Goodkind has mother issues. How many times is Richard going to be held captive by sadomasochistic dominatrix's?

Moving on, now reading Perdido Street Station by China Mieville., I hear good things.

That is a bit of a shock to me, but now that I think about it - it would make sense. I'm still in the mindset that this is an RPG, which it isn't really. Need to pay more attention.

Yeah, reading through Pillars of Creation right now and I can tottally see the similarity to Ayn Rands "Anthem" and its really putting me off. :(

EDIT: I meant Faith of the Fallen

Oooooh, hey sailor~

Yeah, I'm offically moving into my new flat on Feburary 5th, so that's when I'll finally get back to my RPGing. Oh how I miss it. I'll probs just speed through FF1 since I've fallen behind.

Haiku:

Wanderer Returns
Bastard Bird Stole My Money
Yoda, Spare Change?

Question wasn't aimed at me but I would like to help out.

I would say Strange Journey is one of the better RPG's on the DS, it had a very good atmosphere and the gameplay was solid if, yeah, a little repetitive when you get further in. I frankly didn't have the patience some people had to navigate some of the more extremely difficult dungeons, so I didn't finish the game, unlike every other SMT game I played.

As for saving, there are allocated save points in the dungeons, but I don't think they are as often as what people are used to on a handheld. Though they are quite centrally located and easy to get to once you know where it is.

From what i've heard about Black Swan it is basically just "Perfect Blue".

Is there any truth in that?

What the fuck is going on here?! I thought this sudden explosion was because of new info! I am very disappointed rpgfan!

We're sorry. :(

I'm done now.

No more posting Yoda's over other peoples faces, I need to get out of that habit.

I don't see what Vincent sees with her.

What can I say, I paste a lot of faces onto that groom and mail them to the people I watch. Through my telescope. From my van.

What's even more creepy is that those two already had their faces cut out.

Appropriate for Cathy topic

Isn't it though!

Even mine and Yoda's mutant baby would be appropriate. See, people who read this will get angry for talking nonsense, but really we are applying the game to real life.
