Top 5 things I like about myself:

5. The fact that I cannot say my English ABC's but I can do my German ones. I am not German.

4. I forgive people easily. Some people say too easily.

3. I make a lovely cup of tea.

2. I make an effort to smile at people of the street. Some people smile back, relieved that I'm not going to mug them, others don't smile back.

1. I feel like every day I grow towards being a better human being, I don't like taking steps backwards.

Now, rather than being called out for being a narcissist here is a list of things I dislike about myself.

5. I have violent sneezing fits at least twice a day that range from 5-10 minutes long.

4. I stay up way too late at night.

3. I wish I took better care of my teeth when I was younger, the damage just seems irreparable now. Not that I have hideous teeth or anything, but I should have taken better care.

2. I judge those I love far more harshly than I judge strangers.

1. Every day it gets harder to leave the house, sometimes just certain rooms in the house. I lock myself away for days and shy away from human contact, even my beloved boyfriend.

Was talking to CastNuri and we somehow went from talking about animals with moustaches to the subjectivity of peace and the reason for being. We have got to stop doing that.

I am very impressed with Leyviur's many synonyms for being a bitch.

I must have been high when I wrote that comment above me.

Anyway, I loved tonights episode of Dr. Who. I don't wanna spoil too much, so I'll just say River Song = Better than Chuck Norris at this point for me

Also, amazing cliffhanger ending.

Me, my boyfriend and my little sister speed stomped our way throughout the MK story. So, so good.

I got a job! I give morphine to people about to kick the bucket!

Are they already about to die BEFORE you give them the morphine?

Post away Jubby, I just made the thread to discuss the topic in general.

I do kinda of disagree, just a little bit though. I don't think we should pretend there isn't a difference between men and women. Perhaps not on their on, but certainly in the way a society may treat them. If you are writing a female character who is filling a traditionally male role, the experiences she would have along the way (facing hardships or perhaps forming strong bonds with other females in her role) should shape who she is fundamentally as a person.

The same goes for writing men who go against their own gender role, unfortunately it doesn't happen much in games outside of Persona games because the gamer market still caters primerally to the straight male - who are (mostly) still afraid of anything less than a macho man.

Gotta agree with the female touch. Espcially since I suck at distinguishing voices :P I'm like "who is talking now?" most of the time and having a female at least let's me know for certain who 1 of the 4 are. I'm getting better though. I can tell who John is most of the time :P

Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan, Obi-Wan

What's your point? Every character in a story can be broken down into certain archetypes, it's how stories are structured and there's not a lot of variation when you get down to it. The important part was players connected with Alys and cared about her when she eventually died.

And I always assumed "eight stroke warrior" meant she could fell any enemy in eight strokes or less.

The majority of my criticisims, however, are with the hall of fail. Princess Peach? Really? She's had her own game where she's gone off and been the hero on the DS,

From what I remember her fighting ability revolved around her crying and having hissy fits. It wasn't really a point in the games favour that Peach is basically just an over-emotional woman who has SEVERE mood swings.

I'm so happy.  All B's and up on my semester... surprising, since I slacked so much by the end, and studied so little for exams.

I also just bought an artbook I've BEEN DYING FOR, FOR YEARS on sale, 40% off on eBay (bleh, but...) within 10 MINUTES of the sale ending.  I pissed off the seller previously, so I had to register real fucking fast with a different e-mail.  Got it, within one minute of the sale being over.  I went and hugged my dog.  ..... this is excitement in my life.... fuck...

Go, Dice! :D I told ya you had nothing to worry about. *hug*

i will never ever knowingly date a bi girl. everyone i dated eventually dumped me for a guy. do you know how much that hurts >_<

I actually agree. I am very apprehensive about dating bi guys because being dumped for a girl is so, so much worse than being dumped for another guy. I couldn't tell you why though, it just is.

I don't care really, but it is an observation. I still love the game regardless.

I agree, every single female in this is wearing FAR to less. Especially sheeva who I think EVERYONE would appreciate her being a bit more covered up.

Saw this on the front page this morning and was pleasantly surprised. Just remembering Alys from Phantasy Star 4 made me want to play it again. She was at least the main character for a little while, so I think that counts enough for her to be on the list :P

What did everyone else think? Any one you think might be missing?

Also, I didn't think Yuzu was THAT bad. Not that I can think of anyone else to replace her at the moment xD
