Finally got to the airship in ffx

I hit it lucky this week. When Hugh and I were browsing the pawn shops for cheap furnature I had a look in the CD/DVD/Game section and found Shadow Hearts 1, Wild ARMs 3, Sonic Adventure 2 and SMT: Lucifers Call, though I already had Lucifers Call so I didn't buy it. I bought all the rest though for cheap cheap cheap.

So, am now starting Wild ARMs 3, despite not being able to finish 2 because the music gave me a headache.

Goose after leaving his store

Holy shit, I just checked out the anime section on Hulu. I was considering a subscription at rentanime.com, but considering they have Trigun, Monster, Death Note and several others in their entirety, I'm going to just take what I can get for free.

Yeah, I was really impressed with Hulu's anime selection, too. If I weren't greedy, that site alone could satisfy my anime needs for several years!

I' about 12 episodes into Monster. Its good, but I don't see the greatness everyone else sees yet. Unless it happens later.

I liked the manga from what I read of it. I should pick it back up, I only got halfway through the first volume, or maybe check out the anime. I hear there's a big twist somewhere that makes things really interesting.

I'll stick with it just a wee while longer then, I do love a good twist.

I tried to name my sister "Misery" but my mum wouldn't allow it

I am exactly the kind of person who goes to a movie and says "Wasn't as good as the book". I am sorry.

However, that being said, with all my heart I believe that The Golden Compass movie was dumbed down far to much to be enjoyable. They turned a childrens books intended to make both children and adults alike learn and think, and made it a popcorn flick with little substance. It was a real, real shame.

The ending to Amber Spyglass satisfied me, so I think you should be okay.

Finished Perdido Street Station, a great book except for a few things that really stop it from being excellent.
