The Rest / The Bazaar / Wanted: Tales of Destiny PS2

I want Tales of Destiny ps2, and I'm sick of it being out of stock EVERYWHERE.
If you're in the US, $100 shipped and must have overnight shipping.
If you live in Japan, $125 shipped for the fastest shipping possible.
Or if you know a game store in NYC that has it, $20 for that info payable when I get back with the game.

So I just read John's review and this thread. I am kinda wanting to get this game, but the though of everyone pumping up Grandia 3 still haunts me. I thought that game was a POS not worth my 50 bucks. If I had paid 25 for that game, I may not have been so bummed out.
The review seems awesome. Has anyone been bummed they bought this? You know, the more I play this game, the more it reminds me of Grandia 3: Great graphics, way too hard for its own good, somewhat cliched story, original and fun battle system.

as much as i love radiata stories(hello being able to recruit lenneth owns your face, plus jack is my favorite male charachter in an rpg since ryudo) in terms of gameplay it's probally tri-ace's worst game yet. I've always thought Radiata Stories more resembled a Tales game than anything else Tri-Ace made (They made ToP and -maybe- ToD, though that's unclear.) The hero's kind of an idiot, which is a big theme running through the Tales series, and with the action battle system, it seems to me more like what Tri-Ace would be putting out if Namco kept letting them develop Tales games instead of doing it in house. And for the record, Radiats Stories is probably my favorite Tri-Ace game, and Tales is one of my all time favorite series (That and Gyakuten Saiban/Phoenix Wright)

I have a variation of the question in the OP here.
I wrote that FF3DS review last week, but now I got hired by a website as a reviewer. Is it OK if I use that FF3DS review on that website?

I posted this on another MB, and since it's relavent here, I'll copy the post. It was replying to why Sega never made Shining Force 4. Because desipte Arc the Lad 5 being panned in every part of the world, including being called the worst rpg on ps2 on some japanese site and selling less than 15,000 copies here, Sega liked it and wanted to clone it, so they turned THEIR great srpg series into a mediocre action rpg series, and the result is what you got. Sega likes to learn from other companies mistakes, only what they do is COPY the mistakes, not fix them in their own business practices.

They announced 3 new ff13 games at e3. Looks like its a series, like ff7 was.
There's Versus and Fabula Nova Crystallis- for ps3, hinting that even though theyre futuistic, it may have the crystals.
And then there's Agito for mobile phones.

Damn, you're about 1 and a half years late, and I'm pretty sure no one played/cared about the GBC game. :P I played it, and quite enjoyed it, which is more than I can say for SO3. Crashland on a medival planet, get off it, crashland on ANOTHER, then tease you with the promises of an advanced culture elsewhere on the planet that you NEVER GET TO SEE! Crashlanding on a medieval planet and having sci-fi themes only at the end is nothing new. It sorta reminds me of Cosmic Fantasy 1, where the hero (Yuu, or Cobra to you fans of the US cf2) crashlands on a medieval planet and has to go through the medieval toryline of stopping an evil witch named Morgan from reviving, but at the end the real villain is a space pirate who revived Morgan for the sole purpose of killing Yuu. And you fight him on his ship.

Funny someone should bring this up. I'm actually in preproduction for one of these in RPG Maker XP right now. I plan to release it on 8/1/06, which would be the 10 year anniversary of its Megazeux incarnaton (Which is LONG lost.)
