So glad you guys are liking the show.

And we have another episode coming in the next few days....

Even I have to admit that the Versus XIII trailer looked pretty great.  Looks like the Kingdom Hearts game I always wanted after watching the secret movie at the end of 1.  Have to see how the the combat system holds up, though.

I'm way more interested in V-XIII than XIII-2.

I'm starting to think we're just making the show for Ivalice, lol.

I was loving FFXII for the first twenty hours, but I "solved" the battle system pretty quickly and never really had a challenge the whole way through.  The game just kinda turned into an autopilot run.  Also, I'm glad to see that someone else thinks the story is lame.  Everyone talks about the political intrigue and focus on outside events, but they never impact the actual gameplay.  You're still exploring dungeons and acting as the resistance, which doesn't help to make this game stand out.  I really wish Matsuno had been allowed to complete the game and add some more variety to the title.

Fuck a bunch of that, Stephen!

Actually, Skype is completely down tonight, so we won't be able to record.  Going to do our best to bring you guys a podcast as soon as possible!

Always looking for feedback, guys!  These kinds of topics are going to help us out quite a bit as we approach a period in the year where there are few big RPG releases to look forward to.  We'll certainly try our best to incorporate some of these ideas as we enter the new year.

And, just so you guys know, we're recording a special long podcast this evening and hope to have it out to you guys by Christmas.  Consider it a holiday treat!

I doubt we'll see this title before the Fall of 2011....

I don't think anyone is going to argue that the scanning mini-game in 2 was great.  Both that and the Mako sections are abysmal.  Trying to control that tank on the PC was like playing GTA4 in permanent drunk mode....

....while high on crystal meth.

Could possibly stand for Planck's constant, but that wouldn't explain the + sign....

The trailer did look pretty cool.  I'll probably pick it up to complete the collection.  It's a series I really want to like, and I hope Naughty Dog continues to improve on their proven formula.

Alright, to get away from the multiplayer argument, the game's trailer looked cool, and I'm excited to see how Bioware finished off the series.  The third entry in a franchise has a lot to live up to.  Guess this means I'll have to play through 1 (ugh....) and 2 (yay!) again to prepare.

I'm excited because, according to their blog, Bethesda is using a brand new engine for the game.
