I was under the impression Reapers assume the general shape of the last race they turned into techno-orgnic slurry and fed into a Reaper, so all the Reapers look squid like, much like how all humans are humanoid despite having a wide range of heights, weights, races, etc.

If the Reapers are composed of multiple species that went through that process though then the squid thing may well be a shell they're placed into. Not unless humanity was the ONLY species they saw worthy of "uplifting".

Anyways, time for slight topic change.

I like the idea that the squid looking ship is the shell. Because the boss of ME2 was kinda small compared to the rest of them.
Code:
If I remember correctly, EDI mentioned that there might have been problems when processing the prothean and thats why they made them into the collectors and not a reaper model

These were great games and I hope we can get the full line up of the SMT games. I dont know what the problem is of just releasing them online? There is no publishing involved, the games are complete...isnt it just profit?

The sewers in Xenogears was pretty awful, I remember the only sewer dungeon to be ok was Grandia. But then again their dungeon design was pretty much the same through out the game. Direct path to progress or deviate to find treasure.

How about Lost Odyssey? Its a great turn based JRPG from the creator of Final Fantasy and there is plenty of grinding if you choose to. The game looks great and the written memories in the game are phenomenal! Check it out if you want a great JRPG experience, also I recommend installing the discs to boost the loading speeds of the battle sequences.

That sucks...at least the Witcher 2 will come with a lot of goodies in the standard version! Thank you WB games for publishing. Publishers like Atlus and now WB understand that the printed swag is a great part of the experience of buying a physical copy of the game. Skyrim came with a thick manual and a HUGE map, why cant EA print a simple manual? Its just ridiculous!

Actually WB's the same way, Arkham City skipped on the manual. However CD Projekt Red probably pushed for one and they OKed it, maybe CD Project Red is covering production costs or something.

Well good on CDPR because the Witcher 2 comes with a thick ass manual, a soundtrack, quest guide AND a map. Its just little perks like those that make you feel warm and fuzzy from these companies. Like when I got Divinity 2 DKS it came with a soundtrack and an artbook for 40 bucks...it helps me respect the companies that care. I swear when I get into the game industry I will make it a clear point that these things are important. Obviously not the most important but important enough.

Errr, who cares? lol  *Goes back to playing game*

For those that care about physical media, as its going away fast...its just a step closer to complete digital distribution.

The ONLY gripe I have (and its totally STUPID) is that the manual is only digital meaning there is no printed manual in the case.

That's EA's new policy, and others like Ubisoft have been doing it too. I imagine eventually all the big publishers will dump them, and so will the smaller ones through retailer (read: Walmart) pressure. Disappointing, but at least the 3DS and Vita are offering them at a system level, and the Vita seems to retain the style of print manuals so they should still be worth flipping through.

Its definitely a day one purchase! Its pretty amazing, from the art, music, voice acting, gameplay...its just amazing. The ONLY gripe I have (and its totally STUPID) is that the manual is only digital meaning there is no printed manual in the case. I felt a little cheated when I opened my copy but hey its not a big deal at all. If you have any doubts of buying this game, dont! Its awesome and will be in my xbox for at least a month until ME3 comes out.

The combat/skill system was really fun and I loved how faced paced the combat was for a turned based RPG. It never really felt slow or too fast. Also I loved the skill books and how you can make Mareg ultra fast and Roan super strong depending on what book you gave them to level with.

One more week!! I dont know why everyone is complaining about the DLC, if you buy it new then whats the problem? Support the company, they went through a lot of stuff to get to this point from pulling Ken Rolsten out of retirement to almost losing the studio when THQ dropped them. 38 studios was there savior and this game is going to be legit!
