Get another 10$ and buy way of the samurai 4

This game was great. Ending felt rushed, but I was still pretty satisfied.

Locked at 30FPS, 720p resolution. On the other hand, looks like Blight Town is fixed. So even if it isn't perfect, still looks like the definitive version. Plus, PC modders will patch out the 30fps limit and possibly even iron out resolution issues.

... GFWL. -_-

Thanks for the info. I'll probably just get it on the PC then I guess. I am disappoint on the resolution though.

Everything you said I like :). Sadly, to even think about this makes me want to cry knowing that a game this awesome will never be released. At least you can RP a Shipwrecked Pirate in Skyrim or something.

I love that this is getting DLC. I hope the PC version is optimized well, because I don't have my PS3 Copy anymore
6  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Spec Ops: The Line on: July 16, 2012, 12:20:24 AM
It's a great game. Definitely worth the $25 I spent on it.

Totally and utterly fucked up though. Does not glorify war at all. Seriously, play this game and the feeling immediately afterwards is that you don't want to play another war shooter again, and not for the typical "generic FPS" reasons.

I agree with everything you said. I actually felt pretty uncomfortable after I beat it and remembered all the stuff that went on. The ending is a little weak sauce though. I like my endings explained to me.

Not sure if it's still on sale, but definitely worth the $25

I'm currently playing it on the PC. I don't like single players in shooter and often ignore them. about 2 hours into Spec Ops, I really enjoy the atmosphere and narrative. The game is a bit of a shooting gallery in between narrative stuff though.

This series keeps going backwards.

The only thing I know about this game is that is going to be WoWish, which is an instant turn off. I really don't need an MMO Elder Scrolls game, I just to be able to adventure with a few friends in the elder scrolls world with its clunky gameplay and I would be content

I care --- this much

The story is pretty non existant, but I wouldn't exactly call it shitty. It has it's moments. I really like the last 3hours or so of the game though.

I particularly enjoy the post game content, but I suggest you beat the game first so you can unlock mulitple Port Crystal purchase. Makes the game x10 better

The game reminds me a bit of Star Ocean Til the End of Time. Not really sure why..just does.

If anyone wants a level 60ish warrior, add Dankuj on PSN. I'll probably be on today to add. Just leave me a msg saying you're from RPGFan!
12  Media / Multiplayer RPGs / Re: FFXIV 2.0 - Holy Shit!? on: June 05, 2012, 07:38:15 PM
The new 2.0 Screenshots look sick. It really makes me want to try it out. I only played FFX11 though and I thought that was a bit of a grindfest after a while..not sure how much I'd like this one. Looks so pretty though lol
13  Media / Multiplayer RPGs / Re: Torchlight 2 on: June 05, 2012, 07:36:53 PM
I should have just waited for this game instead of buying diablo 3 for $64... Such a waste of money if you ask me. I wish I could give my copy away to someone who would play more than my 8 hours lol.

"You play as that prince whose marriage formed the Kingdom. You're 18 years old, and even though you're married, you still haven't had your first kiss. The prince is meant to be named by the player, although he does have a voice actor, Tsubasa Yonaga."
I'm all for light hearted JRPG's...but come on.

I promised to post a pic of my son when he was born so here he is, almost 2 months old now:

Edit: pic wasn't appearing for some reason.
Congratulations and cute kid. When I have a kid, for damn sure I'm not posting his pics on a forum though.
