3016  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Thespeedgamers.com Final Fantasy marathon on: July 23, 2009, 03:27:36 AM
I know I said it on Twitter already, but I'm still trying to digest how one does FFVI in 6 hours and 20 minutes. Crazy.

Of course, I'm probably the least likely to ever do speed runs...

Beat the Heaven boss in Persona 4. Thankfully, I didn't die once, but it was a rather long fight. Moreso than the one a couple dungeons ago.

Persona 4 - Teaches how to date multiple persons of the opposite sex simultaneously without consequences

My Persona 3 main character got a lot more action than my P4 guy did.

Hmm, there was an eroge discussion somewhere but I'm too lazy to find out what thread it was in.

I find it hilarious that the people complaining most loudly about these "list" threads are the one who rarely (if ever) contribute anything remotely interesting to these boards themselves.
Oh shit.

Over-18 PCs are good!

I love Devil Survivor's music as well.

Of Course Atlus is gonna bring Strange Journey over here.

Aw damn, I tried the URL at the bottom right in the last scan, but it doesn't work. (Yet.)

That is kinda creepy.

Looks like a nice building though.

Regardless, I still have no sort of interest in returning to a church in my lifetime. :P

SMT letters mean little to nothing. They brand that on all their Gaiden games...

NINE
If...
Online
Devil Summoner
DemiKids

etcetcetc...

But anyway, this game looks totally sweet. I suspect, someday, they will still make a numbered SMT4. This just ain't it.
Beat me to it. I doubt they'd make this SMT4, in any case. I bet.. hope they'll still make one.

That said.. I hope Strange Journey takes its sweet-ass time coming out, I have enough MegaTen to catch up on as is. :P

Persona 4, Heaven. Have a tad more investment in the story now. :(

For a place that's called Heaven, it's pretty damn difficult.

it ain't SMT4, but I'm liking this.

Is it Friday yet? I wanna know what the hell this MegaTen is.

Persona 4: still filling requests. :P

Maxed Strength, Sun (drama), Hierophant (I love the Dojima S. link) and uh.. some other one. Close to but not yet maxed most of my SEES teammates links. Started Naoto's S. link, but I have the awful feeling I won't be able to complete that one.

I'll bite. How is Lunar Dragon Song so horrible?

I'm not defending it or anything, I've actually never played it. Or intend to. I'm morbidly curious about why it always get the reaction it does on these boards.

Persona 4 early October:
Code:
Did Atlus REALLY expect us to believe even for a second that Naoto was actually male? Ahahahah no.
It was more convincing in the JP version. XD

Hahaha, someone told me the exact same thing on my Lj this morning. XD

Now in early November. I haven't fought in a long time so now I'm doing so only to fill requests.

I guess I'll be done this game fairly soon...

Honestly,
Code:
I totally thought she was a dude. I immediately knew that her voice actor was female, but since animes/games mix and match their voice actors' and charatcers' genders all the time (Ash from Pokemon, for example), I just thought it was another case of...that. Never did it occur to me that Naoto's feminine voice could potentially mean that, you know, he's a she. =P

Also, I'm excited for you. You're about to get to the good stuff (as if the last fifty hours weren't awesome =P)!
Good point. I thought of that too, but my suspicions were too strong from the start. Heh.

Haha yeah. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story and all that adds up. I'm in early November now. The night at Amagi Inn was good, though it feels like they were mostly trying to do something like Persona 3's Kyoto visit.

I LOVE Persona 3 and 4 but.. I dunno if I could play a third game in a row with that system. If it is indeed P5, I hope they revamp/change it up a little more than they did in P4. Just sayin'.

Who am I kidding, I'll still buy it.

So long as it's not an MMO or MMO expansion, or a cellphone game or anything like that. The teasing better be worth it, God damnit.
