Persona 4
Code:
WTF TEDDIE. He's like... Bebe without an accent. Uh..........

And holy hell Rise is pretty much ready to jump in the main character's pants.

LMAO

And I don't know why, but I got the odd feeling that King Moron was going to die at some point.

Yeah.. I noticed.

Typical Atlus with their MegaTen games..

.....

it took me several seconds to even figure out the intended meaning. :(

By the way, how are the Devil Summoner games? Yes, I'm aware that I have far, far too much MegaTen to play as is, but are DS 1 and 2 games worth making my backlog even bigger? :P

DS1, no. DS2, very, very yes.

Is playing DS1 a necessity to play DS2?

I found the same thing about Devil Survivor, there's no good universal tactics. I've enjoyed the game a lot even though I ignored it for Persona 4 quite a bit lately. The characters can be a bit annoying, though, but be thankful there's no voice acting. =P

Yes.  A lot of people consider Devil Survivor to be the lowpoint of the series, so take that as you will.

Really. I mean, I doubt people expect it to hold up against Persona games or Nocturne, but for what it is I enjoy it. (Let's forget for a second that I haven't touched it in about five days.)

My experience being bullied in middle school has convinced me that it's usually the victim's fault.
They just want you to feel that way. It's not necessarily or generally true.

For me, well, it was a way to learn not to put up with bullshit later in life.

Persona 4 - saved Rise. In 3 trips to the TV world - I was aiming for two, since I managed that with Kanji. But at least I got a bunch of rare items for requests (went back to the sauna too.)

Code:
The Shadow Teddie fight was a surprise, and rather long. Took me FOREVER since I had no Mediarama and I had three characters casting Diarama every other turn or so :P ... but now Teddie has a Persona. Uh... okay.

And I'm getting along in my social links... Strength is almost maxed. :P

Zeta's also a Greek letter, but it's far more amusing (yet disturbing) to associate Tedius with horse dildos rather than foreign script. :P

tediu sometimes i think you're a really elaborate troll

Ha, this is how I always thought of Tedius.

I'm on there too, for RPGFan. [ForeverZero]. Almost disappointed that I'm not on there for the Fire Emblem forums.

Cosapi is fairly normal compared to some other infamous (ex)RPGfan members. Google Tedius Zanarukando if you want to know more...
Oh, I know him well. I banned him a couple times from a then-popular Fire Emblem community. In between bannings, I saw him show up here...

Wonder what happened to that whackjob.

I have nothing to say to Meshy except LOL.  I honestly laughed.

(In case anyone missed the reference, this is required reading: http://www.rpgfan.com/boards/index.php?topic=5920.0)
Wow, never saw that thread before. That guy is special.

Heh, I remember the LiveJournal attempt. :P

And I'm sure some people do get paid to Facebook, like the ones who maintain fan pages for famous people or companies, etc. Although I'd highly doubt thats their WHOLE job :P

I love when I do 7 floors of a dungeon and I don't have the brain cells to just leave and save. Instead I died.

Said 7 floors weren't HARD, even (Rise's dungeon), just me being dumb makes me mad. :P

....This dungeon almost makes me miss the love hotel in Persona 3. Almost. :P
3059  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: How can JRPGs naturally evolve? Will we see more "big" JRPGs this gen? on: July 10, 2009, 10:57:22 PM
Xenogears... Yea a bit I think.
Code:
Fei and Elly have sex right?

It's a safe bet, yeah, but you don't see/hear anything except that when they're talking the next morning she doesn't seem to be wearing clothes. (Not that you see anything other than bare shoulders, I think.)

That doesn't really matter though since you get the full frontal during the game's ending sequence.

I uh.. forgot about that.

Guess that's what I get for having not played the game in, oh, ten years. :P

(Actually, I DO remember Ramsus being woken up in the middle of the night and he and Miang both seem to be minus clothes in that scene. ... Yeah.)

DDS shouldn't require any grinding at all, unless you're constantly trying to max out your skill chakra thingies as soon as you get them, which isn't really necessary.

He might not be strictly referring to grinding in the traditional sense but simply getting through the game. You can pretty much play the dungeon stuff in short spurts in P3 at least (haven't gotten very far in P4), but DDS it's a multi-hour slog.
You can do that in P4 too, yeah.

Unlike in P3 though, the P4 characters don't have the great/good/tired/sick status, so you can stay in a dungeon even longer in a single visit than you can in P3, so you can bunch your grinding into less trips. Which I like, so that I can keep more afternoons free for social link crap. :P
