31  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: FINAL FANTASY XV, This is a fantasy based on reality. on: November 11, 2014, 02:22:29 PM
you misunderstand me (I think)

less "searching for relevant information is exhausting" and more "sifting through every available minute detail of a hundred available stories about what is maybe, possibly, but probably not going to happen and reporting it back to a fanbase that just wants it be over with already "

nahmean?

What are you talking about...? I put the post together in a few minutes and you are ranting for a group of people that I don't even care about.

Is all about sharing the info (and some miscellaneous stuff) for anyone interested if it hasn't been posted yet. That's all.

RPG identity crisis.

We all go through that once. It manifest in different ways and some never seem to get out of it.

Also this should have been the name of this thread, or a comic.

Final Fantasy XV release window "roughly decided" -- Gematsu

"Final Fantasy XV's release window has been "roughly decided," according to game director Hajime Tabata.

"The number of developers on the project is actually a serious issue," Tabata told GameKult at Paris Games Week last week. "We're going to need a little more manpower as we start working towards the master build, so we've started recruiting more developers."

Tabata continued, "However, a target in terms of which year and season the game will be released has been roughly decided.

It might be a little bit after what you're probably hoping for, though."

Your biggest disappointment my guess is my thoughts for western rpgs but I just hate playing single player MMO's always have always will.

No, not at all. Is the somewhat black and white perspective you appear to take with the list you did previously that was a bit of a downer for me.

Also I don't mean to be rude but for a tree of life you are rather unpleasant most of the time but probably so am I so welcome to my level.

Heh. Norse mythology are merely concepts nowadays, and this is only a nickname from an experimental account I've used for a while now. Whatever you mean by being at your level it doesn't matter when people here have been very helpful and you keep going on and on about stuff without actively trying to figure out how you can get out of the conundrum of feelings you have displayed here.

I don't mean to be rude but, have you ever seen the face of a disappointed father before? If you do, that's what I feel when I read OP's posts.

Sturgeon's Law: 90% of everything is crap.

That was true before and it's still true today.

Perfect "law" for stubborn and elitist people to be jerks now that I think about it.

It just really frustrates me that you think just because I am older I don't realize the difference between something good and bad lol.

Not so sure about that OP. For better or worse everyone has their biases after all. And I can't say I share even a half of your points of view. But hey, that's cool with me.

You practically repeated what Grim said. That's alright I guess.

Anyway. If someone knows; What does the 'Ragnarok' subtitle means for the next Thor movie?

Xenoblade Chronicles
" it isn't worst game i ever played" 0/10

He/she being so nonchalant about it is what make this one so funny to me.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Captain Marvel
The Inhumans

Interested in this three the most.

The Hobbit movies have been extremely mediocre so far. Decent entertainment, but not memorable at all. The last 30 minutes of 2 saved that movie.

I'm with Yoda on this one. The Hobbit has been great fun, and anyone that went expecting LotR out of the Hobbits movies were out of their minds.

@Dice: I understand the feelings those people have gone through because I've also badly wanted some kind of continuation, or sequel, to a few games I've greatly enjoyed before but it never ends up happening for X amount of reasons.

Also I'm not accusing anyone. If you want to start something then have fun doing that on your own.
44  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: RPGs and the horrible path they follow on: November 09, 2014, 12:51:32 AM
Oh no I had fun with a game and am a bit blue we didn't get a sequel.

Hm, you see. I wouldn't say "a bit blue" with more than one fan I've saw before going purple for Dark Cloud 3 to be real.

I do feel sympathy for those people anyway.

I'm not keen on their current Disney-meets-Ghibli-style direction.  That's more of personal preference than giving them high-five for their business accomplishments.  I will say that they're certainly about as reliable as Capcom for generating sequels (for all but Dark Cloud anyways).

Haha. Dark Cloud... some Level-5 fans never got over that one.

It doesn't concern me that much if they do a 3rd game or not personally.
