I addressed Grim directly and I've been clear with what I said from the beginning. :|

You guys freaking out over nothing is kinda cute though. However...

Come on Dice, surely you've realized by now that Yggdrasil does this shit with everything.  It's a lost cause.

What I'm supposedly doing? Seriously, you are losing the little bit of respect I had for you by calling me "a lost cause". What the fuck man?

^You guys must be bored to make a big deal out of nothing.

Wait, wha? Kinda mean, don't ya think?

No. I can assure you that I wasn't being hostile when I said that.

I'm pretty sure I'm allowed to not like a character. I never liked Sully. So what? I don't get what this has to do with my liking movies, though. Yowza.

Well, if you can't figure out then I'll drop this.

I liked the first three Uncharted games, but the firefights are maybe my least favorite parts of them.  The characters and dialog were pretty good, and Uncharted 2 had one of the better love triangles of last generation (really).  I liked the environments and Prince of Persia-esque climbing segments a LOT, and would probably prefer more of that and less shooting out of cover in Uncharted 4, but I'm probably not getting it.

While UC3 has lots of shooting it didn't made it it's #1 priority like UC2 did. I felt it mixed everything the previous games did and tries to offer as much variety as possible outside and inside shooting sections.

I think that since it was this decade+ passion project is why it's getting so much recognition.  I thought it was a story about a kid's maybe-typical life, but not a terribly entertaining "coming of age story", because there wasn't much of a tale worth telling.  But it was lovely enough and worth a watch.

*shrug* In the long run the only thing the movie give me was a bigger appreciation for the Harry Potter films. Besides, I can't really care about Boyhood that much when last year we had a decent chunk of really cool movies.

With that being said, I haven't got the chance to see Nightcrawler and Whiplash yet.

Been thinking a bit about Uncharted 4 lately after seeing who the directors and writers for the game are:

Director(s): Bruce Straley, Neil Druckmann
Writer(s): Neil Druckmann, Tom Bissell, Josh Scherr

I still fear the worst with Bruce and Neil despite of them saying some time ago that UC4 is not gonna go full dumb with its drama like they did with TLoU because that one was a personal project.

They did work on UC2 but the Naughty Dog of those years is not exactly the same. Either way all I got as a fan is crossing my fingers for the best.

Also, super late quote:

Wait, wasn't he an asshole in the last game? I've always just found him annoying. A decent character to play off of Nathan, and whatever female is there, but that's it.

Sounds like every single character from Uncharted flew over your head. I don't know how that happens with someone that's into movies as much as I've seen you be.

Boyhood Did you know it took 12 years to make?

Not much else to say other than I obviously agree with the guys at RedLetterMedia about the movie despite the good intentions behind the project.

And yeah, that's it.

Katsuhiro Harada's bucket list: Tekken, Summer Lesson and more -- Polygon

Ha. Turns out that baka gaijins got played like a damn fiddle with the announcement of Summer Lesson last year.

M. Night Shyamalan would be proud of such plot twist.

Top 10 Movies of 2014 (The Big Picture)

Solid list. I need to check out Snowpiercer and The Raid 2.

Likewise when the Internet tells me I should like it too. :P

It is what it is.

@Dice: I don't have an emotional baggage with the Zero Suit. If anything, I've liked the look of the design since I first saw it in a game magazine before Zero Mission was released.

Of course, the Internet is there to tell me why I shouldn't like it. But in any case nothing has changed the enjoyment I've got out of one of the few series from Nintendo I actually like.
