Might have to do something with how much we expect from our video games nowadays. I enjoyed El Shaddai for what it was, not for what it should have been or I wanted the game to be. Simple as that.

The platforming in el shaddai is unforgivably imprecise.

If anyone felt bad for not getting this game when it came out "to support unique games" don't. It's less than mediocre.

I agree that the platforming is imprecise, but your definition of mediocre annoys me greatly.

E3 2008, never forget.
3619  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Yasuhisa Kawamura Interview, Biohazard 3: Last Escape scenario writer on: April 01, 2012, 07:21:19 PM
"In February 2012, we came into contact with Mr. Yasuhisa Kawamura, the scenario writer of BIOHAZARD 3 LAST ESCAPE, and requested the opportunity to interview him on his work on the series. Mr. Kawamura was very kind to accept, and we gathered 22 selected questions (through a rather painful process, considering the amount of things most people would like to know) with some chosen by the Resident Evil community. Mr. Kawamura answered all of our questions in an extremely detailed and informative manner, touching on his past at CAPCOM, the development of BH3, the scrapped versions of BH4 and more."

Looong Interview, go for a drink and enjoy.

"Just off a wave of critical acclaim for Thatgamecompany's newest PlayStation Network title, Journey, big changes are afoot at the studio: As the studio begins work on a new game, co-founder and president Kellee Santiago departs."

Edit: Found this while reading the comment section in Youtube while listening to the music of the game.

"Hi everyone - I am thrilled to finally break my silence and report that the soundtrack will be for sale starting April 11th on iTunes and PSN, with physical CD's shortly after!! I am planning on doing a Reddit AMA the night before so I hope to chat with you all. Again (for the 100th time, though far from the last), my deepest thanks to you ALL for everything. Comments, likes, posts, for uploading this and the other videos... it's meant so much to be a part of your lives." -- awintory (link to the video)

Finally! Took me 17 minutes to defeat her and many many tries.

She couldn't kill me though so the fight could go on until I used all of my potions basically. Still, tedious fight I've encountered so far.

They sure love to give "exotic" names for their games. 358/2 Days is still the weirdest one for me.

Nostalgia clouds my mind on ALTTP. I loved the hell out of it, but can't remember the details.

I manage to get a SNES in like 2007 to just play ALttP after all good things I've read about it in magazines and also because I absolutely loved The Wind Waker. And yes, ALttP is still an awesome experience even if the translation is borked in the English version like I've read in some places.

That song from the lost woods? Man I couldn't get enough of that song.
3628  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Asura's Wrath on: March 30, 2012, 06:56:58 PM
Is like Capcom knows that they have to do something outrageous to get the attention of more people to sell their DLC.

But like Joe said in the video, a shame. Specially with Asura's Wrath that's such a good "game" or experience I should say.

I think the DMC HD collection will be the first Capcom game I buy this gen.

DMC4 doesn't have DLC and is pretty decent even if it is a bit repetitive.
3629  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: NISA Announces 3 PS3 RPG Releases on: March 30, 2012, 06:46:53 PM
I think NISA made the right choice in censorship here.

Is pretty cool paying for a game that has content manipulated and/or censored you know.

Fortunately you need ask why no longer since that thing slipped into cancellation territory.

Yeah? That's, good I guess. Not that I care about Thomas the Tank Engine anyway.
