I only understood that in Demon's Souls your character looked the way it did when it was dead because his/her soul was trapped in the Nexus and that's why you can never truly die.

After all what Inafune said when he left Capcom, putting his name on Neptunia was weird as hell because he put his image on a game that has all the fucking things that he has complained for years with his "Japanese gaming industry is dying" speech.

Ugh. I somewhat respect the guy but after that I guess there's not much people that can taking him seriously as a game creator, or whatever.

I like Dark and Demon's about equally.  I think for the most part Demon's has the better atmosphere (Dark's mainly atmospheric in New Londo), but Dark has better roleplaying opportunities.

Yeah I agree, Demon's Souls is a great experience while Dark Souls is good game. The only that FromSoftware needs to do in the next title is combining this two things and they have one hell of game to offer, and if they can come up with something new then that would be even better.

The only question I have is if this next game ever happens there's a possibility to be released on PC or not. I mean now with Dark Souls coming to PC is pretty obvious wondering about that, not to mention that there has been quite a few people getting bored of consoles and going to PC in the last few years.

Alright The Ideon: Be Invoked is over. Dunno what to think about this, really liked some of the music and parts of the animation but other than that it wasn't the greatest experience I thought it was going to be for how people reacted to it.

Maybe with time and after watching other anime series and movies I'll appreciate Ideon better though.

The scene when this kid called Ashura Novak gets decapitated by enemy fire was the best part of the entire film. Yeah that happens.

See?

Also, squirrel in a space suit.

A Contact isn't the best way to experience Ideon, IMO.

No it isn't, I don't understand most of what is happening. However there's one thing it took me a while notice, the squirrel in the space suit... for a story that is suppose to be taking seriously stuff like this really makes you forget about all the bloodshed and drama.

Is a squirrel in a space suit for crying out loud. A squirrel!

Watching "The Ideon: A Contact".

I don't know what the fuck is happening in this movie, but a lot of characters are either dying, screaming or crying. Is not bad outside of how fast everything happens.

Does something happen in the series? I ask because KyoAni is known for making anime in where nothing happens. Like in K-On! that is all about drinking tea and eating cake.

I thought K-On and Lucky Star were two of the most useless shows.  It disappoints me that KyoAni, despite quality, loves these high school settings so fucking much, I'd love to see them exapand and do more serious work.  I am happy to say Hyouka seems to be doing that, it's not the slice of life where nothing really happens besides cute girls being cute.
I'm enjoying it, but it still can be dropped if I feel it's not going anywhere or it just feels like "effort" to watch.  I do like mysteries though, so I do want to see it through.

I see. I've been trying to get a little into anime again this year after not watching nothing for like 4 years so I might give Hyouka a try.

...a shame it doesn't have mechas though. :p

Right now, I only would like to know if the new content that the PC version is getting is gonna be DLC for the console version. I really want another excuse to go and play Dark Souls after spending so much time with it when it was released.

Ha. Well yeah he did, I almost forgot about Genesis.

Man I do hate that character since is pretty much just Gackt doing cosplay. Though, almost every character that Nomura does looks like him... he has a like "man crush" with the guy or something. Which is pretty normal with fans of Gackt since even men go all crazy for him (I wish I was kidding).

Still stuck with MGS2.

These VR Missions are a pain to do for how precise you must be to achieve a high score and "Snake Tales" is one of the trickiest and hardest part of the entire game outside of getting all the dog tags, which is a very tedious process since there are more than 100 of those things in both scenarios (Tanker and Plant) combined.

^I wouldn't be surprised if Nomura is a fan of Gackt.

Alright so I'm halfway through Texhnolyze, good series. And just like the like the last decent anime series I saw "Now and Then, Here and There" this one is really messing with my mind, mainly because the series plays around with your expectations and you honestly don't know how bad things can get in the next episode and its kinda creppy because nothing good has really happened in the 11 episodes I've seen... which is excellent for a cyberpunk series, though, sometimes the experience can be a little too much.

I suppose that just like Now and Then, Here and There that I saw one time Texhnolyze is gonna end and I'm never going back to see it again. Is leaving a big enough impression on me to not see it again anyway. Besides, if I learned one thing from Evangelion is not getting into this kinds of series that "make you think" too much because in the end these type of series are just experiences, and that's how they should stay; A one time thing only.

So what I'm trying to say here is that is kinda hard at first getting into it and even if you do there's the problem that Texhnolyze is not for everyone. That said, I am so watching that anime with the polar bear after this.

I can't imagine Versus not being released on PS3 but if they move the game to another platform I wouldn't mind all that much. After all, I am more interested in Type-0 and a sequel for XIII-2.

The ending left me wanting more, don't judge me.

The person responsible for the awesome games of the PSX era Squaresoft was Masato Kato.

Yeah, he also fucked up Ninja Gaiden 3 along with the rest of Team Ninja.

Technically Sakaguchi never worked on any Square Enix title. In fact, the last game that Squaresoft officially released was Final Fantasy X-2.

...talking about going out in style.
