Man, people know so much about Final Fantasy on GAF that I actually got scared sometimes. This game is also pretty damn big for a fanservice game.

Watch the trailer, the beginning of the video makes the whole thing worth it. I still can't believe how real some parts looked (we need that video in HD to see some details better though).

Seriously, I know that trying to throw your opinion in a forum is risky and kind of sucks sometimes if nobody likes what you have to say. But in last few years the fans of the franchise has just show me that they are able to eat everything that Square Enix do and it doesn't matter if is good or not since.... when? Oh wait, Final Fantasy X.

...and I don't like to see that. Not after the really good games that we got before. Now, don't get me wrong X and X-2 are not horrible games but their are not the big examples of how a RPG has to be either.

But hey! what the hell do I anyway. I'm the idiot who can't wait for more disappointment with the rest of the "fans" (or maybe not, who knows).

Nobody cares, honestly.

I've been saying this for years and nobody gives a shit. So I just learned to go with the flow of things and enjoy the games for what they are, is better that way that complaing about serious stuff that no consumer can fix even if he tries really hard.

The new fans of the series (you know, the ones from X to today) are fucked up and kind of stupid, and we are also in the age of "if is pretty, then is a master piece" so people eat all of this without even complain that XIII, for example, was a race to the goal and little else (not to mention that the development of XIII was a mess). Also, Nomura is not the only guy you should "hate" from Square Enix there's quite a few people that make stupid choices for the franchises too, just read the staff of each game and you'll see.

^True, true... we love to hate on JRPGs. But also in retrospective these game are not all that shit compared to other titles.

And I'm the only one that think that XIII-2 must be renamed just for shit and giggles as Final Fantasy XIII: The Last Hope? Don't deny it, is a better title. XIII-2 sounds silly and I can't say it out loud when I'm buying the damn thing in the store, I just say: "I'll get that game. Yeah, that one. The one with the cute girl".
