When I was kid I got kinda scared the first time I heard the battle theme in CC. It sounds "disorted", and in comparison to rest of the soundtrack is even weirder that the battle theme is how it is.

FFIX doesn't get enough love.

I'm kinda scared when SE touches FFIX again actually. Knowing them they can end up making a sequel for that game and ruin the little magic that the franchise has nowadays, same goes for FFVI.

Oh yeah, I found this and I think you might enjoy it.

Toriyama hints at more Final Fantasy XIII

"Famitsu.com conducted an interview with FFXIII and XIII-2 director Motomu Toriyama at the recent Taipei Game Developers Conference. The site asked if we can expect something Final Fantasy XIII related at the upcoming Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary event. Toriyama replied, "The [FFXIII-2] Lightning download content had an ending that left a feeling mystery and hope. The day when the meaning of this will come to light is not too far off."

The Final Fantasy 25th anniversary event mentioned by Famitsu is an art gallery that will be held from August 31 through September 2 in Shibuya."

"Outside of future XIII developments, Toriyama made a non-comment about Final Fantasy X. Asked for a progress report on the HD conversion of FFX, Toriyama said, "Regarding HD conversions, there is a lot to look into, so please wait a bit more."

Didn't something similar happen with Tales of Vesperia on 360?

Been hearing the soundtrack again just for the hell of it. I didn't remember that last few minutes of "The Planet's Crisis" were so good.

Was cheking PSN today, Soul Reaver 2 is not there. But hey! You can buy Disney's The Little Mermaid II as a PSone Classic.

I wonder when they are gonna put Pepsiman on PSN...

"Sorry for the delayed confirmation, but yes, the PS3 version game will be region-locked. I certainly can't offer details as to why, but there might be an official response at some point.

To reiterate, our version of the game works for the North and South America regions. Also keep in mind that both the NA and JP versions have both English and Japanese text/voice options, making them nearly identical. I'm unsure of what the case will be for the EU version."

Why not get both?

I don't think I'll have enough money to get it when is released.

The thing that bother me the most is that Square Enix can make this version the "definitive" one of the game but it seems that they really don't want to put much time and effort in doing so.

I was one of those that was kinda interested in playing that remake when it was announced, then I lost interest. I also remember that the special edition that Japan got for that game was pretty awesome too.

@Mickeymac92: Do you know there's a movie of Trigun? Sadly I haven't seen it yet, but plenty of people has said that is pretty damn good.

On an important/unrelated note: 3RD EVA movie due out THIS November.  WOW.  That was out of no where and quite soon for a flick.  Fucking yay. :)

Oh Evangelion... I'm gonna be surprised if the rest of the movies don't end up raping the minds of the fans for when this is over with a crazy ending.
3689  Media / General Games / Re: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on: July 04, 2012, 01:19:22 AM
That's good to know. But as someone who hasn't played any Tekken since the 5th game I'm gonna see a ton of changes for sure, it also helps that the "Tag" games in Tekken are Dream Matches like KOF '98 and 2002. That means that dead or obscure characters from previous games in the main series can return because there's no story that gets in the way to put a character or not.

I'm kinda hesitating in getting P4 Arena and DOA5 for now.

You got me thinking that the portable ones would get some love.

My bad.
