I believe that developers with talent should never stick to one franchise no matter how popular this franchise is.

If Kojima Productions was able to make Boktai, Zone of the Enders and having the balls to reboot Castlevania why not Game Freak could at least do a small downloadable game like Drill Dozer or Pulseman to see if they can sell those type of titles again with their reputation by doing ads saying "This is the next big thing from the creators of Pokémon kids and gentlemen!".

It could work, who knows right. :T

Last night I take I look at the games of the year list that were made here, and I saw that in 2010 was released Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love .

That was the last big thing on the PS2. It even got a rather nice special edition.

The only thing I know about it is that Ramza loves that game and that it has some dating sim stuff. I never remember seeing a PS2 copy in my country though... shame.

Yeah. I think that I just end up watching Chapter 2, saw two more deaths and so far one these scenes is pretty brutal but is presented in a very clever way that more than scary it makes you feeling all kinds of emotions at once. Not many games can do that.

What I'm really fascinated with this is that you really wanna see everyone getting out alive, but it really seems to be no way out no matter how much they search for an exit. If anything, the more you explore and keep reading notes things gets worse.

Since Amnesia: The Dark Descent that I haven't seen a good survival horror title. Though, don't know how I feel about the fact that you have to show really nasty stuff nowadays to get people a bit scared... I blame the Internet. :p

Also Corpse Party was originally released in 1996. Makes you wonder what would have happened if it was ported to the Saturn and PlayStation for the West at that time.

Thanks. I guess I'm going to watch until the end of Chapter 2, the guy playing is really starting to annoy me.

Though, the only pronlem I've had with the game from what I've seen is that is shows you in the main menu that it has 5 Chapters... knowing how long a game like this it is not cool. But what can I do anyway.

Also I've seen 3 deaths so far. Pretty amazing how the game manage to make you feel sick by reading the notes that other have victims left around, not to mention that the moe style that they went with makes the experience better.

Is true what people said... Xenogears is a lot like Evangelion. That's not very good in my book for a bunch of personal reasons.

Still, is not bad.

Started to watch a Let's play of Corpse Party and I'm wondering if is has multiple endings. I doubt that I'll watch everything with the way the guy I'm watching is playing, so maybe I end up buying it anyway when I get around to get a Vita.

You know how in YouTube there are a bunch of videos with women showing their cleavage in the thumbnails? Well, this man is sick of all this and got all gangsta about it.

I do agree with him though.

Edit: lol oh my gawd.

Still having fun with FFXIII-2 and debating with myself if I should read the spoilers of Disc 1 of Xenogears (never played it).

What in the name of the holy shat is happening here?

I genuinely hope this isn't a DD only release. It would be nice if this were the swan song for the PSP, much like P4 was for PS2, and we get one last limited edition with soundtrack set out of it.

Well not quite, Devil Summoner 2 was the last title I remember Atlus publishing over here for PS2. With a plushie no less. :3
3750  Media / The Soundroom / Re: Why do you read Game/Anime soundtrack reviews? on: March 01, 2012, 11:15:53 AM
Or that the action scenes have your adrenaline going as you're playing the game, because there's so much going on stimulating your senses, whereas the mellow stuff doesn't, so it has to take its time to grow on you.

When it comes to music, the stuff that sticks with me is the stuff that I may not "feel" right away, but grows on me.

Like the song that plays in the older Resident Evil games when you save your progress.
