What was your main goal from a graphics standpoint going into DA2? How would you say you've done toward that realizing that goal?SH: One of the main goals on "Dragon Age 2" was to improve the lighting on the characters in order to help display the extra effort and care that went into the creature and character redesigns while at the same time make them feel like they are anchored to the environments that they are in. We also added gibbing in DA2 to a lot of the creatures and characters to help with the new flow of the improved combat system. Nothing makes you feel more badass than to shred an enemy into exploding chunks of meat! There are also vast improvements in the character heads such as improved facial topology for more expressive emoting, improved facial texture density and a more realistic eye shader. We made smaller graphical tweaks like self-shadowing, moving hair and cloth simulation to help further engage the audience with the characters and story of Dragon Age 2. The trailer was pretty boring, I was not even impressed by what they were trying to do with it. I've had more fun watching the Deus Ex: Human Revolution trailers (and I still do) to be honest.
Maybe I'm not the audience for this game. So, with that said... I should really buy Dead Nation someday. :T

Alright! I just read that Legend of Mana is coming! KEEP UP THE FLOW SE!!!! This reminds me... So. Let's talk about Final Fantasy XIII. It can't have eluded Square Enix's notice that Final Fantasy's mojo has been in perpetual decline since 1997. Final Fantasy VII is still widely regarded as Square's best game and the high point of the Final Fantasy series, and the undying rumors of a PS3 remake still tend to excite fans much more than any new games Square Enix might announce. It doesn't take much business savvy to figure out that it isn't a good sign for the health of your franchise when your fans are still more interested in what you were doing thirteen years ago than any of your current projects. from Final Fantasy XIII: The World Is Square TubeThis was written last year, and is still true.

The only games that I'm waiting to appear on PSN are Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions, Mega Man Legends 1&2 and The Misadventures of Tron Bonne.
...and maybe Policenauts? Yeah I know, that's not going to happen sadly.
