"Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty"

MGS2 AI Conversation Analysis Part 1 of 2
MGS2 AI Conversation Analysis Part 2 of 2

The worse thing about Metal Gear are it's fans, not the games. They are responsable for the creation of MGS4 an arguably awful/great game that wasn't needed to be made in the first place.

Also, following all the mess with Mass Effect 3 I can only say without experiencing the trilogy that the ending looked badly executed more than anything else. But what got my attention more were the fans, they definitely have a more serious problem that goes beyond the game itself IMO.

Dark Souls should be on there. That ending was garbage, if you can even call it an ending.

I think that you haven't played Limbo yet, right?

Ezio and Exposure & Defense Outfits:

Still on the fence about picking this up, I think Ill buy it if I ever manage soldier through FFXIII, but that would probably mean restarting the whole game since I was about 20 or so hours in and its been a long, long time since I last played it.

If you just care about the story just get FFXIII-2, go to the Beginners' Primers in the main menu, watch a recap of FFXIII and then start a new game in FFXIII-2.

You only are going to lose the chapters of the novels but those are really not that important since is supplemental material for the fans.

One of the rumors going around is Darkstalkers 4 (think Morrigan and Felicia).

I'm excited if this ends up being true, but I'm also afraid of what it could end up being... after all, I haven't liked all that much the direction that Capcom took with their fighting games this generation.

And there's no in hell that they can do another fighting game(s) as good as Street Fighter Alpha 3, 3rd Strike or Capcom vs. SNK 2 nowadays. But for now I can only hope and dream.

"Somnus" in Action

"A kind user has uploaded a video of TRFF's version of FINAL FANTASY Versus XIIIís Somnus in action.

As you can see, the characters must travel through the Shinjuku-like city where Noctis and co. reside. Pretty cool, huh?"

Final Fantasy Versus XIII song appears as DLC For Theatrhythm Final Fantasy

Is Somnus, the song that many fans have been hearing for like... 4 years if not more. Geez.

Thanks for making me feel old for a moment there Square Enix. :|

And Limbo is over.

Interesting experience, a bit hard to make my own assumptions about the story and the ending though. But now I look at the list of trophies and... I might not be able to get them all. We'll see.

Might have to do something with how much we expect from our video games nowadays. I enjoyed El Shaddai for what it was, not for what it should have been or I wanted the game to be. Simple as that.
3897  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: The NEW Game Journal on: April 01, 2012, 09:38:29 PM
The platforming in el shaddai is unforgivably imprecise.

If anyone felt bad for not getting this game when it came out "to support unique games" don't. It's less than mediocre.

I agree that the platforming is imprecise, but your definition of mediocre annoys me greatly.

3899  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Yasuhisa Kawamura Interview, Biohazard 3: Last Escape scenario writer on: April 01, 2012, 07:21:19 PM
"In February 2012, we came into contact with Mr. Yasuhisa Kawamura, the scenario writer of BIOHAZARD 3 LAST ESCAPE, and requested the opportunity to interview him on his work on the series. Mr. Kawamura was very kind to accept, and we gathered 22 selected questions (through a rather painful process, considering the amount of things most people would like to know) with some chosen by the Resident Evil community. Mr. Kawamura answered all of our questions in an extremely detailed and informative manner, touching on his past at CAPCOM, the development of BH3, the scrapped versions of BH4 and more."

Looong Interview, go for a drink and enjoy.
