Revelations: Persona - Monochrome (School Theme 2)
Revelations: Persona - Electric Brain Travel
Revelations: Persona - Dark Shopping District (Black Market Theme)

Screw that remixed soundtrack that Meguro did for the PSP, the original soundtrack of the PSone version is way better.

Melodies of Life will be forever in my mind *the* Final Fanatsy song that I'll never stop to love. But the ending theme of XIII-2 has been one the best in recent memory.

That said, last month I heard Maybe Tomorrow from Xenosaga III and yes it is great in comparison to the many FF singles out there.

Yep, that's why I keep that hope saved to see more Falcom games over here.

3981  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Etrian Odyssey IV announced for 3DS on: March 03, 2012, 12:27:33 AM
I just want to enjoy the exploration and music. :3

And after finishing the game once on casual mode I'll be ready to get my butt kicked on normal mode!

But, how hard is Etrian Odyssey? I've read before that is way easier than the older Wizardry games but others say that EO can get pretty crazy at times. I have never touched any of the Wizardry games and Etrian Odyssey IV is going to be the first I'll try, so it could be nice to know.

I remember neither what my third PS2 game was nor what my first PS2 RPG was. Hm.

From the early days of the PS2 I remember going crazy over this scene from Devil May Cry when it was released.

I wasn't even into video games in those days as I am now. But I would be lying if I say that I didn't enjoy that.

^I feel weird knowing what Aeolus said make sense.

But anyway. I'm just at the beginning more or less, in where Fei is called a coward or something and then he goes into Shinji Ikari mode for a while and bunch of other shit happens. But all that doesn't really matters because Citan Uzuki is a great character so far.

Really though, Xenogears just reminds me that I should finish watching Gurren Lagann and Code Geass even though I know their endings thanks to all the nerds in animu forums that couldn't hide the spoilers.

I was going to mention Naughty Dog as another example but somehow I ended up putting Kojima Productions. Sorry.
3986  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Pokemon Black 2/White 2 Announced on: March 02, 2012, 10:51:35 PM
I believe that developers with talent should never stick to one franchise no matter how popular this franchise is.

If Kojima Productions was able to make Boktai, Zone of the Enders and having the balls to reboot Castlevania why not Game Freak could at least do a small downloadable game like Drill Dozer or Pulseman to see if they can sell those type of titles again with their reputation by doing ads saying "This is the next big thing from the creators of Pokémon kids and gentlemen!".

It could work, who knows right. :T

Last night I take I look at the games of the year list that were made here, and I saw that in 2010 was released Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love .

That was the last big thing on the PS2. It even got a rather nice special edition.

The only thing I know about it is that Ramza loves that game and that it has some dating sim stuff. I never remember seeing a PS2 copy in my country though... shame.
3989  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: new xseed psp game, Corpse Party. on: March 02, 2012, 05:39:24 PM
Yeah. I think that I just end up watching Chapter 2, saw two more deaths and so far one these scenes is pretty brutal but is presented in a very clever way that more than scary it makes you feeling all kinds of emotions at once. Not many games can do that.

What I'm really fascinated with this is that you really wanna see everyone getting out alive, but it really seems to be no way out no matter how much they search for an exit. If anything, the more you explore and keep reading notes things gets worse.

Since Amnesia: The Dark Descent that I haven't seen a good survival horror title. Though, don't know how I feel about the fact that you have to show really nasty stuff nowadays to get people a bit scared... I blame the Internet. :p

Also Corpse Party was originally released in 1996. Makes you wonder what would have happened if it was ported to the Saturn and PlayStation for the West at that time.
