The best thing about the release of XIII-2 is that we are gonna start to hear more about Versus XIII. Can't wait to see more pretty trailers from that game, the last one was awesome.

I don't even have high hopes for it anymore but I am curious to know in what they have been working all these years. I do know that the story is suppose to be really tragic but after Nier... yeah, I don't know.

Also, Chocobo theme in FFXIII-2. I, uhhh, wow.

Holy shit... holy shit. What was that? D:

(dunno about Suikoden though).

As good as dead given they decided to blow off the original continuity, AKA one of the most compelling reasons to play the series.

...oh.

I see.

Anyway I'll get 13-2 for the metal case if I like 13, which I'll play shortly after Ico

I hope you like tubes.

Mighty Switch Force looks pretty nice.

When someones says "JRPGs" it automatically means that it has a Turn-Battle system, right? I ask because for some reason people usually doesn't put Action-RPGs that comes from Japan like a JRPG, or maybe I'm missing something here.

Also, all the series that were named in the OP are dead. Like, buried in a coffin with flowers, tears and all that (dunno about Suikoden though).

Some screenshots and a wallpaper.

This trailer feels a lot like the one from Dead Island, only difference is that this one is actually good (at least in my opinion anyway).

That font reminds me of Windows 98 for some reason.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising resurfaces as a PlatinumGames title

Do I see a mix between Metal Gear and Vanquish here? Because it's beautiful. *screams like a little girl*

WHEN REACHING INTO THE FUTURE.. WE SOMETIMES FALL INTO THE PAST

LMFAO

WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN
Maybe it's referring to how sometimes reaching too far with technology only replicates mistakes of the past, or perhaps we can take inspiration from the past on what to do... but that has more to do with devices than JRPG plots.

I hope it has a Japanese option just so I don't have to hear the music in a language I can understand, not to mention numbing some of the pain from a irreparably dumb script.

Justify it how you like, it's out of context and pretentious sounding.

Yeah, sometimes it's good if it just stays in Japanese to be all haiku-sounding and ...elegant...or whatever...

The only games that I can remember recently that did a good job with the subject of death were Demon's Souls, MGS4 and Red Dead Redemption. Also I haven't really played Nier but I suppose that game does a nice job with that too.

Played the demo last night and I fall in love with this game. Best part of all is that it made me feel like a little kid again, and let me tell you; It was glorious. :3

taking a smaller role

He had a big role?  I thought he just marched around the office with a Master Sword and Hylian Shield and commanded folks sometimes.

He also flips tables when he gets mad.
