Supposedly it's shipping today in Canadian stores... but I think I'll go tomorrow. Niche titles usually have a day or two of delay in Montreal.

Really? I live in Chile and we got the game already.

The price for the Deluxe Edition here is pretty crazy to say the least. But I'm curious about the (mini) artbook and soundtrack CD thing; Is just a pre-order bonus or it comes with some copies of the game? I don't mind getting the game alone, but if I can get it with something else it would be nice to know.

The artbook that Atlus is giving with the game is a mini artbook. Next month Atlus is releasing a big fat artbook with Catherine in a bunch of sex positions... dressing as a nurse, or something.

I just found out about this Ono vs. Harada video that was shown at Comic-Con. Pretty bizarre stuff.

Is LoH: Trails of Blue part of the Zero no Kiseki as well as the next one we're getting?

Yes, it is. Trails of Blue is the sequel of Zero no Kiseki also know as "Ao no Kiseki" in Japan. And the next game we are getting is "Sora no Kiseki Second Chapter".

If so, has the sequel to the game we have, not been released yet in Japan either?

It was released in 2006. The sequel they are getting in Japan right now is Ao no Kiseki.

This might help you to understand things better:

(2004) The Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki First Chapter (FC) -- Known as "Trails in the Sky" in America
(2006) The Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki Second Chapter (SC)
(2007) The Legend of Heroes: Sora no Kiseki the 3rd
(2010) The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki
(2011) The Legend of Heroes: Ao no Kiseki

As you can see, Xseed has a lot of work to do with this series.

Someone asked Ono and he said it's a possibility so...

And you believe in him? His twitter is full of lies. Well, kinda... I'm still waiting for that Darkstalkers game. :c

I know that Igor has a dildo for a nose, but that's too much.

The novel will be available on their site so people will still be able to get up to speed even if the book isn't included, though I think it should be in every copy of the game, just like episode 0 should've shipped with XIII.

I wonder why they never translated the novel for the official websites of America and Europe of XIII, the Japanese site has the novel online and is the damn prologue of the game!

It really helps reading that before getting to understand the Fal'Cie nonsense and what not. But this thing with the novels bothers me a little, because it says a lot when your game has an story in where you have to read everything in order to understand what's happening, even the cutscenes.

If Metal Gear didn't do it before, why Final Fantasy has to start with this now?

Started chapter 3 of Trails in the Sky (around the 20 hour mark).  I'm enjoying it a lot and am glad that it's not overly difficult.  Saw the post on the front page about a new TiTS and am curious how that relates to the tits I'm playing.

Is kinda hard to explain this without mentioning the overly convoluted mess that is the continuity of titles of the The Legend of Heroes games. But to make things easy, think in the Kiseki series (the games we are getting right now) as books in where every game is a new chapter.

The series is composed by (what you could say) two trilogies at the moment:

First part of the Kiseki series:

Sora no Kiseki First Chapter
Sora no Kiseki Second Chapter
Sora no Kiseki the 3rd -- An epilogue more than a continuation of the other games from what I've heard

Random/optional game:

Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki: Alternative Saga -- Crossover game like Dissidia

Second part of the Kiseki series:

Zero no Kiseki -- Continuation of the story with new characters in a new region and a bunch of stuff that I can't say because of spoilers. One thing though, you will see characters from previous titles
Ao no Kiseki -- Sequel to Zero no Kiseki

This series can last as long as Falcom wants. Pray for your wallet... :<

The only genuinely sad thing about this is that she was too young to die.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 to Feature Costume and Monster DLC

Also kinda related to XIII-2, the Easy Mode patch for Final Fantasy XIII is now available.
