I agree with Grim about Zelda. That aside, I dunno about you guys in NA, but here it takes Zelda games 3 years+ to drop substantially in price. Twilight Princess is still $79 here ($99 originally).

Oh woah, $79? ...really?

I bought Twilight Princess this year at $30 when Nintendo started their "Nintendo Selects" thing, and I'm from Chile. The prices here for games can be pretty stupid at times but normally they are little bit higher than in NA for $2 to $10 dollars more or less, but it depends in the store most of the time.

You can find a 2 year old game at full price or a little bit more of the original full price and you go to another store from the next city that you can reach in 15 minutes by train and you find that same game really cheap, and brand new.

Life's a bitch, and then you die: 45 hours with Dark Souls

Great article by Rorie on Giant Bomb. I know that most of you guys are busy playing the game but I still recommend reading this.

I notice this message today when I was logging to play the game online:

You've been there for us from the beginning, fans.
You helped to make Demon's Souls the success it is, and we will support you and the game as long as we can.

See you online in the fight for Boletaria!

World Tendency will be pure white through Oct 17th."

Starmongoose has the same age as me? Ha, didn't know that.

This year I felt like shit for my birthday, not to mention that I got depression after that too (my nervous system has always been kind of a mess).

But man, the flashbacks that can come in birthdays can be kinda intense... it really feels weird having 20 because I really don't feel that I haven't live that much with the whole thing that I barely remember anything from my childhood and part of my teenage years all that well. But what the hell, getting worried for those thing are just going to be worse for my health so is much better just to ignore that and keep living in peace.

@Parn: Why do you have to remind me that I'll never be able to play any of the Panzer Dragoon games in my life along with Shenmue and Jet Set Radio. :(

From what I've seen, Demon's Souls is easier than Dark Souls and you will need the experience from Demon's Souls to enjoy Dark Souls even more since the game builds up from that point. And hell, these games have a lot of content and addicting challenges that can keep you busy for weeks or months.

Just keep in mind one thing; The learning curve is the hardest part in these games.

Also, Dark Souls hits PS3 today, meet its darkest demons
4646  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Rage on: October 05, 2011, 01:14:26 AM
Yesterday I discovered that some people where disappointed with this game it doesn't has RPG elements but Rage was never shown like that type of game, I think that this people created the fact in their heads that a video game with a wasteland is automatically an RPG by default thanks to Fallout 3 and/or Borderlands.

But anyway, I might get this after all in December if I manage to get the money by that month. Brad Shoemaker from Giant Bomb sold the game for me with his review and besides the beta of Battlefield 3 is nice but that game is not really for me... I guess I'll have to use that EA account for NFS: The Run.

The reception the game is getting and what it offers is throwing all of the little interest that I have for this out of the window and confusing me in the process, don't know what to think about the "weak story and characters" that a lot of people have said too.

It looks like a nice game with no "substance" or reason to be other than showing the id Tech 5 engine.

The lack of Itagaki's trash talk saddens Tekken's Harada
