For some reason I think that we didn't lose anything of value here, but yeah, it's kinda disappointing I guess.

I mean, JRPGs... eh.
5208  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: MGS, SH and ZOE HD collections announced on: June 08, 2011, 03:15:12 AM
While the HD looks fine you can definitely see how this is fundamentally a PSP game.

And...? You make it sound like is a bad thing (or maybe I'm just reading your post wrong).

I'm with Fadedsun, the next systems I'm getting are the ones from Nintendo.

Sony just showed that onwing a PS3 for their exclusives can be pretty damn awesome, and the Vita seems like a nice piece of hardware that might get a chance to shine in the market. But I couldn't care less about that... every year is the same thing, people get excited and then they complain because they didn't get to see what they wanted or some other stupid thing.

Gamers be damned.

April O'Neil was hot.
This is not a misconception.

This is fact.

Like every year, I'm satisfied with what Nintendo showed.

Outside of Minecraft for the 360 and the Demo of Tomb Raider there was not much to see from Microsoft honestly. Their stupid "Only on Xbox 360" marketing is full BS too, a lot of their "exclusives" are multiplatform games or just for a short period of time.

I mean, they have some decent games sometimes, but overall the Xbox has always being a boring console that tried to fill the space that Sega left.

SFIII: 3rd Strike is the most entertaining 2D fighting game to watch in tournaments, I'm kinda excited to see this version of the game in action with some good players.

Motion controls are good when they an integral part of the experience and it doesn't feel forced. Sadly, a lot of developers just use it because they can. Either way, I don't mind this "little era" of experiencing with this technology.

And if it fails, then is the fault of everyone involved; Gamers for not thinking out-of-the-box and developers for being (for a lack of a better word) "lazy" thanks of our stupid hardcoreness.

Impressions:

I don't mind Kinect. Tomb Raider looks great so far, the announcement of Minecraft for the 360 was nice and is always a good time to watch a new trailer from Halo with how bombastic they are.
