So, the soundtrack that comes with the game isn't any good? Also, where can you purchase the Super Arrange Version of Ys Origin?

Is not that the soundtrack is bad, the thing is the music is pretty normal for a JRPG and some tracks are honestly pretty boring for what I remember. There's some enjoyable track? Yes, but the SAV album is like ten times better than the Original Soundtrack.

Now, about where you can buy the SAV of Ys Origin, I only found the album on sale in Amazon.co.jp. If anybody knows other places, just post the link. The SAV of Ys Origin is really something that every Falcom fan must check.

Also, here's the playlist of the new Super Arrange Version of Zero no Kiseki. Good stuff.

The release date will be announced next week, time to save money!

In the soundtrack section the reviews seem pretty good for this title and I understand it does come with a soundtrack cd as a bonus. I tried to listen to some of it but I'm not sure...sounds dated...like something that would have come out 10yrs ago...is that because it is an older game?

Ignore the soundtrack from the first game, check the Super Arrange Version. After that, ignore the Super Arrange Version for the second and third game and check the soundtracks of those games.

The soundtrack for the third game is pretty weak with the exception of a few tracks that are really good though.

...or, you can also just check the Super Arrange Version of Ys Origin. Best thing that Falcom ever put on a CD.

Nothing really special. But it seems that Falcom put the three PSP Ys games in a bundle in Japan, so maybe this confirms that Ys Origin is never going to be ported to the PSP (which is pretty damn weird if you ask me). *sad face*

Love the box, tough.

The ending of SotC made me cry like a baby, twice. True story.

Also, F K in the coffee.

Are you saying that Shadow of the Colossus didn't any have characters, or are you trying to be clever?

Swery's 20/20 hindsight on Deadly Premonition
GDC 2011: The SWERY Experience (Interview)

"If you can't remember any of the characters' names, then that game is garbage," Swery said.

So true.

I'm actually convinced it's the "new blood" thing (plus a poorly received 1st topic).  If a vet made the topic, we'd get serious answers.

True that, but RPGFan is a very tough place in the wild too. One wrong move and you're dead.

I'll buy the NGP day 1 if Kojima makes Snatcher 2 (it can happen) or a game in the same style. I'm still waiting to see more of his "1% complete game" he is making with Suda tough.

I also believe that Kojima Productions needs to say or show something about Zone of the Enders 3 this year or the next one. I'm pretty sure that a "Zone of the Enders HD Collection" would happen if they announce a new game, and you know you want that.

...and c'mon! Zone of the Enders 3 has been practically announce since 2007 if I remember correctly. Is now or never KP.

but I'm a bit more worried about the NGP. Maybe it's analysts that are being too negative or fixating too much on America and ignoring how it's doing in other parts of the world (well, mostly Japan), but I could see Sony losing their foothold entirely with this. Probably depends on the price and just how compelling/costly the software is.

Europe really likes the PlayStation brand and loves Gran Turismo. Sony just have to combine this two to get money from there (Latin America loves multiplayer shooters, football/soccer and casual games fyi).

Pro tip: Don't let EurAsianGirl make more topics, end of the story.

I saw the quick look of this game in GiantBomb, and for some reason this reminds of Rayman 2 (which is a very good thing in my book). I've never read something bad about the game either and there's good music too. So, maybe in a couple of months with any luck I'll buy this.

There's already too much to look forward to.

Playing Uncharted with those controls must be a pain in ass, especially in multiplayer. Looks so irritating and awkward.

Thanks Dice, you're awesome.

Man, this game is pretty crazy.

I've not follow this thread too closely but anyone around here got the Tarot Cards? I really want to get this little extra, but here in Chile there's no store to be found with this bonus thingy.

I guess that I'll better call to one store in the capital to ask why the hell guys are you so lame for not bringing mah awesome tarot cards with art of Akihiko Yoshida?

Seriously, after Vagrant Story this is the best work from Yoshida IMO.
