Terry Taylor is a hero of mine. If you can find the two disc CD "Imaginarium," it's the soundtrack for Neverhood, Skullmonkeys, and some other mini-projects. One of the best albums ever.

Yes, I know about that album. :)

It's kinda expensive though. But more than money, is that I haven't had the opportunity to buy the album. Maybe someday I'll get it.

Skullmonkeys - Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Don't ever trust in the man that said: Chrono Trigger is a terrible game.

I suppose that after these games are released on the PSN, maybe Square Enix will announce the Parasite Eve games.

Disappointment?

Fallout NV - *another* half finished, buggy game on a crap engine that doesn't work properly.

Did anyone actually expect something different?

Well, I always saw people around the Internet waiting for something different in New Vegas instead of a "glorified expansion" of the previous game.

Shit happens I guess.

Maybe is just me, but there's this track called "my favorites wings" and reminds me in certains part of Final Fantasy VIII. I can't remember the name of the track that sounds kinda the same in Final Fantasy VIII though. :T

I think is time to throw this year in the toilet discussing not our Game of the Year (or forever), but discussing about what were the biggest surprises and disappointments of the year.

Gaming related of course.

Biggest surprise: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

I'm a big fan of Kojima Productions, every game that this guys release is either extremly enjoyable or mindblowing in some form or another. But at the time when it was announced the biggest promise of this game it was that is was going to be a diffent kind of Castlevania, and better than any other 3D game of the franchise.

That alone were scary news for the long-time fans and exciting for the rest.

Granted, I'm not the biggest fan of the series but the fact that MercurySteam was able to pull this off so well deserves recognition.

Biggest disappointment: The "last game" of Shinji Mikami and Vanquish.

Now let me explain, I like Vanquish, I really really like Vanquish. So much that I would call this to be "the greatest Third-person shooter" in the market right now.

But why nobody cared for this game? Seriously, it seems to me that Platinum Games have the same curse of Treasure; Excellent games that (almost) nobody played.

I really don't understand this... Vanquish is fast, entertaining as hell and challenging. Why there was no more interested people in this is beyond me. Not to mention that in Europe some retailers were giving free copies of Bayonetta if you pre-ordered the game, that's like saying "please, buy my game". Shit is just sad bro. :(

Now about Mikami, read this.

And those are my surprises and disappointments of this year, your turn.

The soundtrack of GT5 can't be this good, I like every track of this album. Especially "Slow On The Uptake".

I had some troubles with the camera, but other than that I had a good time with the demo.

...I still doubt that I'm going to buy this game next month though, but we'll see.

It's kinda cute in a way, but it reeks of a manipulating adult.

Alright, after that shit I need to see something random.
