Screw FF XIV and XI for being online. XII was either considered amazing (HA!) or absolutely boring (YA!), XIII was generally disappointing and/or disliked by the majority of RPG fans gamers. I also have no clue why they bought Eidos... wtf. That said, Square Enix has still delivered some fine games these past couple generations and the J-RPG scene would be pretty void without them.
As someone who has no interest in W-RPGs, I would cry a painful death... then go on with my life.

Nintendo has already given the middle finger.
To Wii owners? Mostly, they've left a few DS gems un-translated. It might just be my personal grudge since Nintendo doesn't give a shit for Monolith Soft's games and the second Fire Emblem DS is still untranslated. The Cing-developed games are always fun and Fatal Frame 4 is theirs to publish. Basically they've disappointed me time and time again with the exclusives they have the rights to. I don't even have faith they'll translate The Last Story because it might not be casual enough. And since Nintendo has essentially avoided any Xenoblade localization talk, I went from N-fanboy-ish to disgruntled Wii owner. If they didn't have Zelda series... I doubt I'd still care for the Wii.

I'm almost positive that both games will get localized in 2011. I just hope we don't get the same treatment that we got for "Disaster: Day of Crisis". Why do I say this? Both Xenoblade and Disaster was made by Monolith Soft. We never did get Soma Bringer either. Stupid Nintendo even though I love you. Don't F' this up and not give us Xenoblade or there will be plenty of mad people.
Nintendo has already given the middle finger.

The only game of that I can think of that I loved, but would never play again is Shadow Hearts: Covenant. My first play-through was utter awesomeness and I loved everything about it. Then on a second playthrough, I just didn't want to bother with the judgement ring battle system. Timing every attack with a button press and breaking your combo if you aimed for critical and went over... cool the first time through. This is the main reason why I didn't play the third game. I'm still fond of the story and characters, but never playing it again... unless I wanna rewatch some of the cuscenes in the movie gallery. :)

1) Nier 2) Final Fantasy XIII 3) Dragon Quest IX 4) Rune Factory 3 (current portable RPG, loving it) 5) Lunar: Silver Star Harmony 6) Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep 7) Arc Rise Fantasia (current console RPG, so-so) 8) Star Ocean TLH International 9) Final Fantasy CC: The Crystal Bearers
If I can tolerate a 20+ hour RPG until the end, I'm probably fond of it in one way or another. Then there are games that I just can't play on because I just don't like it: Resonance of Fate
Also waiting to open Golden Sun and Lufia for Christmas and will play Valkyria 2 down the line. Good times.

Has anyone ever price matched at Best Buy? I try to buy most everything at BB due to the reward zone and the gamers club. It's still listed at $30 at BB.
I just did recently for Nier when Gamestop/EB had the game for $9.89 CDN. Cashier even gave me 20% instead of the 10% off the matched price so the total was $9 after tax. If I didn't already have it, this would be the best deal I've ever had.

Xenoblade (or Monado on Nintendo's website) has been taken down from their official site which was the last sign of hope for me. I'm sort of a Nintendo loyalist, but screw them.

Fav: Disgaea 1: Laharl's Challenge episode. Xenosaga Episode III: By far my favourite last dungeon and amazing ending to a great story.
Disliked: Star Ocean 3: 4D Space. Tales of the Abyss: The first portion of the game with long-haired Luke.

I don't like the Persona/DDS series all that much, or at all, so the last five were "meh". They weren't that good unless you were a supreme hardcore player that enjoys micro-management.
I felt the list was missing Valkyria Chronicles and Tales of the Abyss. And so glad to see FFXII didn't make it. :)
