Sometimes it's like with food.  Let's say your favorite food is pizza.  If you eat it every day, you will eventually get tired of it.  So you take a break from pizza and how long till you get the taste for it back again varies with the person.

I can relate to that.
that happens to me almost every time I find a new food I like/love, similar to pron~
if one views a lot of porn within a short amount of time, it gets old and boring

SO3 has too many too many undeveloped characters (best example of this would be Adray).
also, if I use certain attacks with a lot of hits (gravity bullet, fists of fury) and an enemy guards just as it's being done, it slows down to a ridiculous amount of frames per second.
and leveling up is too much of a pain since that battle gauge thing only fills up around enemies at an "appropriate level" and experience/money rewarded in battle are too minimal
it needs a real world map because going from area to area is unbelievably tedious
finally, opening menus and going into battle randomly take up to a whole minute

can marvelous afford to pay all those famous composers?
I hope it brings back that band from the first one.

this thread makes it sound like something that would force me to destroy everything in sight because it's so frustrating.

I played Golden Sun and I agree with mesh on it but that just be partially because i'd get angry very easily at my gameboy
speaking of radiata stories, it has quite possibly teh bestest most awesomest optional boss of all time
edit: just recently started okage and it is amazing

Here, have a somewhat low quality Youtube version of it. It's heavily cut and you don't hear everything, but it gives you an idea of what it sounds like. It's also fast-forwarded to cut down the video time, so some of the songs are faster than how they "really" sound.

It's not as nice on the ears as the main soundtrack, but it fits the atmosphere.  I'm a fan of the Song of the Ancients/Fate remix (~6:00 on the above movie), personally. I am not sure if you can buy the DLC music anywhere, but if you can, point me to it.  I downloaded a 16 minute mp3 of the DLC music after hearing it while playing the DLC, but I really hate to just "download" and not own it.  The Nier soundtrack is one of the first soundtracks in years that I went out and ordered within the first two hours of playing the game.

at first, this music made me think of that one song in a strange way
and we still don't have a review for this game?

You can all shove it with your delicious local delicates!

I'm eating a Lunchable right now. I feel 5 years old.

The true art of a Lunchable lies in making sure you don't just end up with a bunch of crackers at the end.

i had one of those recently
most lunchables have yucky food, but this one was exceptional especially since I love subs with turkey and cheese

Okage was amazing.  Thats good that Vagrant Story gets alot of love on here.  Its good but not alot of people played it.

i still haven't played those, even though I saw okage in a local store for like $10
1122  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Does anyone actually like random battles? on: July 28, 2010, 11:39:14 PM
random battles are okay and potentially likable, assuming they are reasonably spread out (an example of this would be shadow hearts)
or a "system" like wild arms has is really fun, it has an encounter gauge that increases by 10 each time a certain item is acquired and each battle happens about every 10 steps or so (indicated by an exclamation mark) but pressing circle once an exclamation mark can cancel it
white exclamation marks are normal difficulty and cancelled with a cost dependent on number of enemies
red ones are hard or sometimes ambushes (possibly with only one party member) and can't be canceled, sometimes normal enemies but an insufficient amount
green ones are really easy and can be canceled without any cost, and this encounter gauge can be refilled with crystals in dungeons or sleeping
edit: I agree with Raze

Yeah, the chain mail bikini does a lot to protect the belly from a disemboweling slash or thrust.

It's funny you bring this up, as the fairly recent Atlus game The Dark Spire actually had the Bikini Armor as the single best piece of equipment in the game, and hilariously it was gender-neutral.

Ha! I forgot about that. That's the best armor in the game? I got it so early, though.

That also reminds me of the female Troubadours in Etrian Odyssey. The art work had them in bikini tops. That just made me think: how does armor made of normal cloth survive fire attacks?

it's probably magical
