sadly, that image will haunt me forever.
1232  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Skyward Sword and the Zelda timeline. on: July 23, 2010, 12:14:31 AM
this timeline thing is one reason I don't really play any games in this series.
1233  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: White Knight Chronicles 2, a video log of the entire game on: July 22, 2010, 01:57:21 AM
each character, especially that "Lucis" guy, looks almost like an early PS2 and/or wii character (really bad for something trying so hard to look like a PS3 game)
most of those links have an extra "http thing, so each one seems broken
not sure if I'll ever get to watch its battle system in action since youtube loads unbelievably slow

Honestly, I don't think humans will ever completely die out until

"If the sun disappeared".

...and like PM suggested, that's only if we haven't colonized other planets/space/whatever. Unless of course there's some super extreme ice age or some ridiculous Armageddon-starring-Bruce Willis-style massive asteroid or some similarly extreme scenario before then. I don't think we have what it takes to do away with our own species even in a WWIII, everybody's-nuking-everybody situation, 'cuz you know at least one chick and one dude will survive, in some viscinity of each other, and they will bone eventually, regardless. Surely they'll eventually get tired of joy riding the remaining Lamborghinis and raiding all the surviving malls for remaining free shit.

not they're on separate continents and don't have a way to meet up and "bone" before dying of boredom or starving, etc eventually.

if by "semi-intellectual" you mean religious post flamebait, congratulations, you win the internetz.

yeah that too, but now back to regular stuff.
ever wondered why Twilight is popular?
because of "Edward's perfect face"

do want.
1237  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Food! on: July 20, 2010, 06:25:24 PM
I'm extremely picky, so I like most food plain.
fast food is nice to have occasionally, especially breakfast stuff that should be served all day long.
I like chicken preferably battered or grilled, particularly on top of macaroni and cheese from this place because it's literally heaven
I only like rice if it's steamed and lo mein is really amazing if it's completely plain, sesame chicken or general Tso (mild) is awesome with soy sauce.
i'm probably the only person that only eats pizza with cheese and bread with sauce and I only have ice cream if it's completely melted, except if it's a milkshake.
macaroni on bottom left

Instead of saying how wrong you are I'll show you the best chef of all

that was slightly disturbing.

”Collecting giant coins feels unrealistic to me”

that seems to have worked for Mario, considering he's relatively chibi compared to those coins he collects.
1240  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: The world is coming to an end! on: July 19, 2010, 10:11:30 PM
if it was going to end recently or soon, it should have happened sometime this year (a reference to persona 3)
besides that, it would maybe end in 2020, like this one book apparently said at one point
though, I think it's full of crap like that problem with computers around 10 years ago
documentaries about stuff like this are fascinating for me, so I don't mind it

Some of the best sushi I ever had was prepared by a Mexican cook (who was probably taught sushi from another Mexican cook who was taught by a Japanese.) Best French food? Very likely a Mexican cook. Best contemporary American diner food? Has to be a Mexican cook. I'm also willing to bet that the best restaurant Indian food I had was prepared by a Mexican cook.

The great chefs aren't your Bobby Flay, Wolfgang Puck, Masaharu Morimoto, or Eric Ripert. The great chefs are Carlos, Jorge, Miguel, and Alejandro running all those kitchens. They're superhuman. Any random Mexican line cook plucked from a local diner would completely destroy the culinary competition on shows like Top Chef or Iron Chef.

mexican is a funny word, too
I'm sure a lot of mexican chefs are actually able to make really big expensive restaurants that way while (probably white people) take credit for it.

figured someone would probably like to know that.

Dices threads always seem to take a different direction than she probably indented...

I think the last one went off on a tangent about Indian food and now it seems to be going the way of drugs.

speaking of indian food, is a place considered "indian" if only indians work in said place but not have any association with food that originates from that country?
that was probably a bad, insensitive question but it's really been bugging me

I can genuinely say I prefer calmed stoners to drunken losers.

that seems a little unfair since I've heard of drunks that are friendlier while being drunk than being not drunk at all.
1244  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Front Mission Evolved on: July 18, 2010, 07:55:06 PM
Yeah, in some of the more recent coverage of the game its a complete third person shooter, which kinda makes me cringe since ive always loved the customization of the mechs.

"third person shooter" makes me think dirge of cerberus, and believe it or not, I liked that game
I'm thinking about getting front mission ds this year because it is pretty cheap at gamestop.
1245  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: The more RPG's I play, the more I forget on: July 18, 2010, 07:16:52 PM
I love to forget the stories cause that means its time for a replay. I make it a point to not remember stories so i can always have something to play.

especially if something big gets spoiled
