I looked inside a guide for this game and saw those bosses at the very end of neverland
according to that, they were around level 200
I also saw "fol" mentioned a lot and assumed it was money there like it is in star ocean games
is that because they're both developed by tri-ace?

That's...odd...  Star Ocean was under Squeenix licensing, so you don't see ANY cameo's or themes brought into this game since SEGA produced it.
Money in this game is (R) (rubies, I think?)

several news things mentioned they were going to have sega publish it and tri-ace is named on this review for developing it
i saw a video on youtube with that (R) thingy in a menu
maybe fol is something other than money

I'll probably get it for xbox, since it sounds like some i would regret buying because it's so hard
and I love mario kart

Yeah, that would be an interested subject to talk about, but everybody here is a failass oldschool gamer apparently who probably can't even jump over the first goomba in super mario bros ; ;

those original mario games suck beyond all reason because they're bas purely on luck

Now, this, I'm curious about. How is my wanting people to not use the internet to complete a game in any way related to things I've said to draw a line of hypocrisy to me?

it seems like you're complaining that you want those days back
and to that last post, yep it's also full every other std imaginable (and full of crap)

I just want to say, as a person who spends a majority of his time in the bathroom due to my chronic illness, portable systems are an absolute Godsend to me. As Castlevania was mentioned earlier in this topic, I have to say my strangest gaming accomplishment to date is the fact I've beaten every GBA/DS castlevania... while taking a shit.

Also, about 100 hours of Dissidia, exclusively played in my bathroom. I guess I just focus better when I can scream and grunt at the screen like my character!

does that illness happen to be constipation?
sorry, that was probably uncalled for, but that castlevania is funny
1237  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: let's share some flash games on: June 03, 2010, 02:45:20 PM
I think maybe i played totem destroyer once or heard about but I was able to beat it it today and thought it was good
that icycle thingy wayyyyyyy too hard for me

tl;dr
IE: Apathy.

Read it or get the fuck out, this is exactly what I'm talking about.

I read both of them all but I got from both was just "blah blah fucking blah magnifying glass fuck fuck dickhead castle blah"
that may just be me being sleep deprived, even though I can conclude that you seem to be hypocritical about that bitching about "the good old days" thing
1239  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: rope of robots (or xenodurr) on: June 01, 2010, 11:37:55 PM
Absolute comedy gold.

This is unbelievably more funny and entertaining than any of the shit Hollywood has tried to force-feed us into thinking is worth our money.

I commend this paragon of literary wonderment.

that's a bit of a stretch but yeah it is gold
1240  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Tetsuya Nomura to make an E3 appearance wearing 100 belts. on: June 01, 2010, 07:11:02 PM
now I'm curious as to what someone wearing that many belts would look like
1241  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: let's share some flash games on: June 01, 2010, 07:07:23 PM
that seems like a fun concept but yeah, link seems to have too short of a jump to get across certain pipes

I'm not sure if this is the right place for a thread like this so i'm sorry if it isnt

tl;dr version, please?
1244  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: I just don't like handhelds... on: June 01, 2010, 01:20:15 AM
Okay, so a thread about handhelds turned into a dick thread.  Man, I love RPGFan!  Oh wait, it was my filthy mind talking about PSPorn that started this downward spiral.  Ummm... THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!

Maybe I'll just go back to my corner, read Xenodurr, and play Rainblood.

I will say that those common complaints about handhelds (tiny screens, crampy fingers) were ones I expressed during the GBC and GBA era.  Another one was that GBC and GBA weren't backlit.

and in sparta, people are generally male
in a way, dicks can be thought of as handheld games
almost like those handheld games that were their own system (such as game and watch)
and they're free for anyone that has them
only complaint I have about handheld devices are that they get dirty too easily, especially psp
1245  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2 on: May 31, 2010, 11:19:45 AM
I'm undecided. I liked the first one, but I don't think it was as great as everyone made it out to be. I still prefer Super Mario 64. But the reviews are extremely positive... Lowest I've seen was about 9.5/10!

lowest I've seen it was 9.25 (in gameinformer)
i always seem to suck with games like this and regret getting them
edit: wouldn't trading games in only pay for a dollar each or so?
persona 3 is worth wayyyyyy more than that, fes or not
