Sorry, he meant Yeager.
Yeah I figured, Taelus usually doesn't fit the "asshole" archetype. Fucking nice guys.

Short version, unmanned supply rocket that was to be sent to the International Space Station blew up about 7 seconds after launch.

Welp, guess that clears that bit up.

Since we're doing "sky" with this expansion, I wonder if they'll do "sea" next like a certain other MMO.  Heh.

What offers the best possible upgrade to light? Exotic helms, bracers, or chestplates?

Man I feel like a dork
All standard legendaries cap out at 27, all raid gear and exotic pieces cap at 30. Raid gear and exotic armor all have the same defense value per segment, so the only difference between an exotic and a raid piece is the effects and the sub stat values. When it come to your loadout, you should consider an exotic piece that benefits your sub class and then raid gear for the other 3 slots to maximize light level and beneficial effects. As the nerd loser I am right now have 4 different exotic armors, 2 heads and 2 bodies, for different situations. Mostly though, I use the armamentarium for titan cuz of fhe extra grenade and heavy ammo. I also have 2 full sets of raid armor for my titan...so yeah....loser nerd status, lol.

^ Same here. Sad day indeed. But I was amused at this years' "What the hell is this doing in my pocket!?" which turned out to be one of the pom-poms my cat plays with.

2 receipts from mcdonalds.
8 cents.
6 napkins.
A pen.
A tweaker screwdriver.

I was impressed that I only had that much crap in my pockets this time.

i think theres a remote possibility mnk with be changed to dex
Monks in FF have never been associated with serious ranged attacks, always massive hp and strength. I'm more leaning towards Hathen's logic of dex being added to monk gear, though I doubt it's gonna adjust other stats to make room for it. As he said, it's more or less an arbitrary stat for non bards and tanks. Hell even tanks benefit very little from it.

That being said, Ninja is statting to sound less savory every day...

The Dark Knight moment from yesterday's live stream:

Guess I'm sold for another year.

Was watching the livestream and they just announced Dark Knight as one of the new jobs a moment ago.
Interest officially caught.

Ron Perlman.

Dice, I went back like 5 pages looking, what happened to your thumb?

Haps: I pretty much lost my job due to a lack of work available. Filed for unemployment last week, should see some cash from it next week. Thankfully, I'm in the works to start a new job as my own contractor, so no more middle man making money off my exploits. Just need liability insurance....which will possibly run me upwards of 2000 bucks. Hopefully the couple of private gigs I get meanwhile will ease the lack of workload.

In other news, been back at the gym, added a couple miles of walking before and after each visit now. Hopefully the winter isn't as horrific as I'm fearing so I can maintain it, cuz treadmills are boring shit. Still aiming for my 405 bench before the end of the year, but my recent hiatus has definitely impacted my performance. Hopefully more determination and continued visits will improve my lifting again, though I still can bench a solid 315.

Got caught in the rain today, fucking soaked my slightly oversized family guy shirt, so I looked like I was wearing the deepest neckline t shirt ever. I was pretty embarassed til I noticed I didn't have man boobs. That made me feel better :)

Dracula Untold -
This turned out to be decently entertaining. I would not call it a "good" movie by any regular definition, but I still liked it anyway. The key is that I know the difference.
Luke Evans makes a great Dracula. He looks the part, and has great presence. I give him full props for going all out with a role that some would phone in.
The movie looks really good, which I find to be less and less of an issue nowadays, even with lower budget movies.
The story really does show a side of him we rarely see. I think they went a tad overboard with it, though. We are supposed to see him as some heroic figure here, sacrificing everything for his family, and his people. It felt very un-Dracula-like.
There were some story issues, too, but nothing that really bothered so much that I can remember it now.
Fair warning for Drac fans: This is NOT a horror movie. This is an action/drama. There are certainly some bloody battles and such, but nothing scary.
I eagerly want to see this because it's as close to a Castlevania mo ie as we'll ever get.
