Four months ago: "God this game is nearly perfect!"

Today: "Holy shit do I hate this game!"

Boss battles are basically puzzles, and in the latter half of the game it feels like those puzzles only have exactly one solution. Its complete bullshit and is probably the most frustrated I've ever been with an otherwise enjoyable game.

EDIT: ...Or you could just spam all your S. Attacks making cheap and easy work of an otherwise overly frustrating enemy.

Either way, I still feel like the combat system squanders a massive amount of potential due to a poorly conceptualized difficulty curve.
I can't really agree, though I did grind a bit for gear and levels. I found most of the boss fights fairly straightforward, the important thing I recall in most of the fights was just making sure to have buffs up, especially the defense buff and regen when possible.

Late to the party, but still, my condolences Dice. A pup that hangs out that long with you isn't a pet, it's family. Hope she stays with you for a long time in memory.

Haps: I may have overdosed on caffeine monday slightly. Massive nausea and vomiting, terrible stomach pains, and I couldn't sleep for almost a solid 30 hours. Either that or I got food poisoning and the caffeine just kept me up. Had about 2 grams in the span of maybe 4 hours? Sounds small, but the average cup of coffee is MAYBE 150-200 mgs. Wasn't the most fun 2 days I've ever had...better today, though I'm awfully tired.

NYCC in 3 weeks. Kind of excited, but I dropped the ball on a cosplay I was aiming to do. Had a kingpin design all set up, but work this summer was immense, and I never bothered getting the materials together. Guess I'll do it next year. Still, looking forward to it, always a fun time, and this year I'm taking my little sister so yay for family fun time.

Lost a few pounds, I think. Trying to drop 10-15 before NYCC which is entirely doable. I started taking hydroxycut hardcore in hopes that it will either help me lose weight or just give me more energy to work out more often (each pill is 270 mgs of caffeine, dosage is 2 pills twice a day).

Otherwise, same shit, different day. Did preorder a ps4 pro though.

Remove your credit card info and make a dummy email address for the account, then sell the system.

This is why we should always buy physical.

^ bingo.

Though I can always pick one up from a pawn shop for under 200 regardless of retail
People are gonna be dying to pawn their old ones off to help cover the new one. You'll probably do alright through a pawn shop or just a second hand games store, hell even craigslist may pan out alright.

So double post, but ps4 "PRO" has been announced with the same 400 dollar launch price tag as the original, and a release date of november 10th 2016. Fair warning/suggestion to all.

As for moves, break dancing pig move in Color Splash video.

Also, I imagine Rose in a more modern context as a fierce bisexual with a penchant for pain (giving or receiving, who can really say for sure?)

Oh, Rose is a domme without question.

And Tomara- if haven't played any games by Wadjet Eye, those scratch that itch big time.

Anyway the haps is I'm trying to get more exercise these days, being more active and all that. I'm pretty sure I made the same haps comment like 6 months ago and uh, well. er. um. errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

lets just say not much progress was made!

3 years of gym abuse...I can lift a shitload, but the only thing I've got so show for it aesthtically is toned shoulders and triceps and some chest tone. I still weigh about the same and look pretty much the same for it.

Not fond of sleeping nude, but ironically nudity is a bit of a touchy thing for me, I'm a prude. That being said, I can sleep pretty much anyway afterwards. Shirtless, shirted, shorts, boxers, briefs, pants, blanket, sheet, chair, bed....hell I once slept in a roadcase during a concert I was working at. Took a few empty speakers covers and laid em out, bunched one up like a pillow, passed out for like 2 hours.

The Jerz

My wife is from New Jersey so I've spent a decent amount of time in various parts of it, and I don't really get all the hate it gets. It's definitely in my top 5 for states, and one of the very few where I think I could live without going insane (too far south and the weather gets gross, I'd feel super isolated in the midwest, New England is terrible, and I've never been to the west coast).

Did you really just defend NJ against the hate it gets by hating on six states at once?

That's a very New Jersey thing to do.

Did no one notice that Mesh left a pretty normal comment?

I'm pretty sure he MEANT to post....
"This reminds me of the time I bought like a 28-pack of New Jersey underwear because I thought it would protect me from hives, you know, like bluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurghhhhh, right?

That darn corn"
but accidentally posted something normal.
Nothing about New Jersey is normal, so his relatively normal statement is just proof of the fact that jerseyis terrible.

Artimicia, what part of the world do you hail from?

Oh ho! Hm I guess you got me sort of Tsundere, but I am from the magical land of California. I visited New York City a couple times, as well as a variety of other East Coast cities (primarily on a college search), but I've also been to Missouri, Florida, etc, Las Vegas, random places, etc.

I was just curious, you've put up a few cool pictures and have spoken of multiple areas you've visited, was just curious.

Day 5 of my week off from the gym that no one knew about except me...I feel pretty much exactly the same except I'm not always hungry. Skipped a meal all week this week and I feel pretty alright, aside from just bored while working.

I think I just need a vacation already.

I kinda envy you guys who somehow just forget to eat because I'm guessing you don't have any weight problems as a result. I've gained like 5 pounds over the last month because eating good food is the only thing that makes life worthwhile. Not overweight yet, but I keep a eye on it. I was overweight starting halfway through elementary school and I didn't get my weight under control until a few years ago after I learned what amount sane, normal people eat (aka a lot less than I'd like).
Fuck
All
Of
You.

Watched the killing joke last week, forgot to talk about it here. Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are my favorite batsy and joker far and away, so them back in action always makes me happy. The batgirl dominated first half was not as godawful as some would make it out to be, but it was definitely a bit odd. The love story they were trying to put out felt weird (still better than twilight). The actual killing joke story was amazing though. I mean, I've read it a dozen times in anticipation if the movie, but on screen is just so much more vivid, AND they kept it on the less extreme side (slightly). Great way to blow a saturday, for sure. If you're any kind of Batman fan, you oughta watch this.
