Desire, determination, and comfy footwear.

Bear in mind I do not run, but I use a similar logic for when I bike at the gym.

The name Vanillaware meant nothing to me until Dragon's Crown was really getting slammed.

What a shame.
Not really, having seen Odin Sphere as one of their other big games, I see why I don't recall the name. Wasn'5 a fan.

Bad press is still press. The name Vanillaware meant nothing to me until Dragon's Crown was really getting slammed. Granted, it's only being covered in circles that are focused on by people who knew of it already, but it oughta provoke more people into playing that would have simply passed it over as a Dungeons amd Dragons game "or sum shiet".

Don't care what other morons have to say about it anymore. I wanna play this game.

So I did some lifting today, shoulder stuff. I haven't eaten today, and I only got 4 hours of sleep and had taken down a show prior to my gym visit. I was fairly beat by the time I got to the gym, and I feel my performance suffered for it. Only pressed 75lb dumbells, which isn't terrible but not my best by a longshot. Also fudged upright rows entirely, only doing 2 sets and the second set at 155 lbs and only 6 reps. My machine raises weren't terrible, forward and reverse at 30lbs for 2 sets and 40lbs 2 sets. Ended on shrugs, which I was really upset by. 270 lbs, followed by 330, then 385. Each set was ridiculously hard for no reason, it really saddened me. I finally tried for 405, which took everything I had to pick up...I could usually lift it with some effort on a regular day. The only real shiner for the trip was the 6.2 mile bike run I pulled off. 22 minutes, 250+ calories burned, and I wasn't even that winded. So now I gotta keep doing that I guess.

Hoping to go check out Iron Man 3 tomorrow night, but it seems unlikely. I look forward to it, even though I read the plot online (non-spoilers, extra scene at the end sounds funny).

Just watched Pain and Gain. Was pretty good, albeit long. It was definitely a lot darker than commercials play it out to be. Mark Wahlberg plays a meathead incredibly well, and the Rock is amazing in it. The acting was very well done, and the entire flick was just very solid. Definitely a good bring your buddy flick.

Just watched the new Teen Titans Go.

Powerpuff Girls with teen titans, I am disappointed. It's not a bad cartoon, but to be the replacement for young justice, which I watched religously...no, I am very unsatisfied.

If I didn't know any better, I would have thought Pixar was animating it. This looks so awesome, 2015 is officially my favorite year in the making.

Phone has a plasticy feel, very flimsy almost. My old phone had more heft to it, and felt sturdier as well. Dunno how I feel about that yet, being that I'm big and abusive to small devices.

Heading to the gym in a few minutes, legs today...or shoulders, dunno yet.

New phone arrived today, Galaxy S4. It's funny, news was saying Samsung was having problems shipping out all the orders, and then fed ex knocks on my door with mine, haha.

So this pretty girl was in the weight room today, and being the horribly stupid macho man I am, I used this as a reason to lift heavier. I did a 6 plate t-bar row, which is roughly 270lbs of weights on a bar that i don't know how much it weighs, 5 times. The t-bar device we have is comprised of a long bar with a handle shaped like a cross (t-bar), and it's attached to a small holder that elevates the bar, and a small chest pad to lean against while pulling the bar upwards. Now I am pretty sure this device is designed for smaller weight use, as any time you put more than 200 lbs on it, it pulls you down so hard the chest pad makes it hard to breath, plus it's really uncomfortable. Yada yada, anyways, I do a modded version that lets me stand upright and pull the bar higher in exchange for my pelvis being pulled into the pad instead.

KEY WORD, PELVIS, NOT PENIS.

....still hurts my penis though.

Anyways, doing these HOOGE WEIGHTS, and the pretty girl notices me, which is kinda hard not to considering when I rack the weights, the small area around me shakes. Her friend, a dude, and her walk up to me and asks me how much that weighs, so I told her. Her friend's jaw drops and she bug eyes me. Generally when people get that look of astonishment (bewilderment), I just chuckle, but this time I went ahead and said thank you.

She the said "I wish my boyfriend were as strong as you".

I then went back to weightlifting, completely defeated.

Women suck.
