An easy way to do it is find a hdd you like and contact sony or use their online helo and see if it's compatible. Like I said earlier, sony over the phone is very helpful from what I've seen.

Einhander is an awesome rail shooter to try out. I recently ran through that a few times. Give that a whirl for a non rpg title. Other good non rpg games i could recommend are castlevania sotn though yeah it has a bunch of rpg elements, mega man legends 1 and 2, Silent Hill (still pretty scary for its age), tomba, tekken 3 which is AWESOME, and off the top of my head still probably resident evil 2 because 1 just doesn't feel all that scary.
Honestly, I preferred rpgs on psx to most other games. Most of the action and adventure titles on psx haven't aged well, so going back to those is kind of painful on the senses. At least ps2 stuff still holds it own more or less.

Twilight Odin level 99 get.
Gotta say though, he's a bit underwhelming. He attacks and moves slowly. As someone else mentioned earlier, he's pretty predisposed to using ruin which takes forever for him to cast, leading to missed opportunities for serious damage. Plus he's really green looking....idk it just irks me. May swap him out for amodar after I level him up. Still at a loss for what my third slot should be in my paradigm pack, though. Should I go for Lightning and have the hottest chick of XIII beat shit down, or should I stick with a medic and continue using noel and serah as double ravagers? I've beaten nearly everything so far, and with the exception of one fight which I shall rant about in a moment, have had no trouble really. It'd mostly be for show and impressive beatings, plus eye candy.
Biggest bullshit fight ever, btw. Caius during one of the paradox ending set ups.You only have serah and a monster, so it's a 2 on 1, but for fucks sake, everything you can do he can fuck you to and decimate you in a heartbeat. He has a really annoying combo that always launches you and stuns while it's in use, so no attacking or healing, he uses blast wave which hits for wound damage, and it does a good chunk of wound damage at that. Then he has two super buff moves, "absolution" and "body and soul". The first one sucks because it removes any debuffs you hit him with, and gives him protect shell veil and vigilance, but the second one is SUPER FUCKING LAME. It gives him all offensive buffs, but the kicker is it gives him regen, and if you haven't noticed regen in FFXIII-2 yet, it's cheap. Unlike every other FF game so far outside of cheating with it in VII, regen doesn't heal for a lot of hp, just enough to periodically save you some healing. In XIII-2, it works like anti poison, which again, in xiii-2 is broken. They do damage at a percent based rate. For arguements sake, let's say they'd do something like 50% health in a 1 minute period. Regen does it as restoration, and when you're chipping away and trying to heal and your opponent has a healthy supply of hp, you're fighting a losing battle. Oh, and di I mention Caius hits like a freight train? His regular combo is about 5-600 damage, but his specials moves all do upwards of 1k, which he likes linking together in succession. Didn't mention Inferno, which does normally 2k, but when he buffs, 3.5k easily.. OH and THE MOTHER FUCKER LIKES TO THROW IT BACK TO BACK. 8 retries to beat him, and I had to turn the difficulty down. I finally cheated and tried a sentinel strategy, meaning I let my silver bird take a beating while I used saboteur and poisoned him a lot. I'm embarrassed as an rpg player and as a man I had to do that, but goddamn it he was cheating. Plus the ending they give you sucked, it was so lame.
Now my arm hurts, fucking ranting.

Serah has the best blonde moments ever. Her and Snow make the perfect couple. In the offset chance of a xiii-2 movie, stallone for snow would be perfect, and make serah paris hilton. Genius fucking casting.
So I just need the last 3 paradox endings and the bestiary for full fragment completion. Dunno if I wanna bother with platinum yet, seeing as there is more content otw. Already at 70% trophy completion. Best trophy so far was giant fist, aka max damage in a single move. I was fighting ultra super final boss 3, and the jerk used dying sun on me as I went for noel's meteor javelin with him at 999% chain bonus, which was gonna kill him. Sure enough, trophy pops up, boss finishes dying sun, part was wiped out. He was dead too, but caius said screw the rules I am immortal, and I had to fight him again. Such bullshit.

Just finished getting lightning and amodar. God damn talk about low crystal drop rates. 10 fights for lightning, and another 3 for amodar. Btw, Lightning is a beast, and amodar is just seriously strong. I still wanna work on odin before playing with them, but goddamn are they broken. They're early peakers, so lvl 20 caps sadly, plus they're 5 sta....err monster, so they need the expensive materials to level up. Gonna have my work cut out for me. Good thing bestiary is so annoyingly long to finish.

Lol, same here. 153 and bestiary is one of em too. It's okay though, gives me time to power up lightning and odin.
So I was reading some data entries and read the coliseum info, and it says its for warriors of every age and every reality. I think I smell cloud/sephiroth dlc in the future. God, can you imagine the sheer amount of money squeenix would rake in doing that?

Silly question; where the hell is that second gate in Augusta Tower? I thought maybe it would unlock upon the Paradox ending as I haven't seen a single one show up on my map at all, but it didn't. So what am I missing? XP
Take the elevator down to floor 49 after you beat the relevant boss. I assume you are referring to Augusta tower 200af, right? Anybody wanna share some omega dlc codes with me? I wanna fight something hard now, hell the shaolong Gui wasn't that hard once I played with some good sentinel paradigm switches. Nothing like ultima going from 4-5k down to 1.5k in a quick stroke. Now Yomi was a fun hard fight. Prick bounced around for a solid 18 minutes throwing everything but a moogle at me, and then followed up with random spats of standing perfectly still to gloat while his shield cured ludicrous amounts damage and blocked everything. Fun times.

You can read the datalog after beating the game, it elaborates on what happened somewhat. I know you're right, but it just looked so not what you said.
Besides, I think I figured it out (using my ultimate mgs logic). If I kill the lieutenant Almodar before he becomea a lieuetenant, I will create a time paradox and the colonel will tell me I've changed the future. He'll also force me to restart, but I'm working on that part still...
Edit: Just downloaded the lightning dlc. Fuck balls, I thought it was fight them once and get them. Easy enough fight, but it takes a while :(. Add to that capped crystarium and any cash I get going to crystals for odin, and this is just a serious case of mindless grinding. Ah well, do want lightning on mah team, she is so fine. Amodar...has a minigun, but gold chocobird is gold and has over 1k attack, plus great everything else. Tough call.

I like the part where that girl gets atabbed with a large sword.
You know, Tifa, right before you go demolish the end of the game. Cloud and her all cuddled up, you KNOW he hit that. Fuck squeenix, fuck fanboys, no straight man would not have hit that, I don't care if meteor was 3 inches from my dick and I had on a flammable condom covered in petroleum based lube, I'd still hit that.
Yeah but seriously, best part of vii was that sense of completion beating the battle arena that first time when you were searching for the keystone. You can't always win, but having Dario congratulate you and givenyou them items, fuck everything else, I was feeling pretty good right there.

Idk, the game agrees with you, but that last scene says a lot....
7 fragments left, all bullshitty ones. 3 from academia 400, 1 from academia 4xx (bestiary shit), and 3 paradox endings. So far I did oerba, academia 4xx, augusta tower, sunleth, and bresha. Not sure where the other 3 are, but I'm assuming one is in dying world, and another when a certain asshole does a certain douchebag maneuver with his douchecake sword and leaves your vagina feeling less than fresh.
Also of note, I hate leveling odin. It's a pain finding those crystals outside archylte steppe and I get bored murdering microchus. I needs more money, stupid lucky fragment ate all my cash playing slots.
