What's the point of playing an mmo without the massively multiplayer experience? I enjoy global chat as a means of general banter. Sure a large number of morons like to pretend they're funny and use obscene language and silly auto translation vulgar comments, but sometimes you can have a good conversation like an open discussion on a forum. Take the good with the bad.

No beta invite for me...sadface.

You could try a portable air conditioner, zmknight. They just need an exit path through a window for their exhaust tubes.

Wow...gamestop preorder paid off well. Full digital sountrack, dlc items everywhere...like 10 items off my code. I almost don't hate having bought it from them...almost.

My dad's going in for an angiogram this friday. The actual angiogram isn't a big deal...it's the reasoning and possible followup actions that have me worried. He's not really forthcoming on details, but apparently there may be something up and if so, it will be addressed while my father is already there. The doctor told him he may go home that day or he may be hospitalized for a few days and bedridden for a few more, maybe weeks. I'm not fond of those scenarios...especially given his last hospital visit ended with a gall bladder removal from hell that didn't even get removed and an overnight stay that resulted in 2 weeks in the hospital.

Not a great weekend coming up for me.

Akanbe-... Borderlands is fanfuckingtastic
This as long as you play multiplayer. It's not a requirement, but it's like eating a bowl of cereal without the milk. Some people are lactose intolerant, others just prefer the cereal naked....but cmon.

Something new, I cooked dinner tonight at my sister's house (cat sitting while she's in florida). Nothing amazing, pan roasted chicken thighs with stuffing and lemon pepper corn. I made pan gravy from the drippings as well, which came out fairly good. I wouldn't normally brag about this, but I don't cook often, and USUALLY not something that one would consider a full meal, so this was pretty cool. Chicken came out nice, crispy skin and cooked through but not dry. Was pleased with the results, would cook and eat it again.

It really is the perfect description. Big body, stubbeh legs. Very "d'aaaawwwwwww" worthy indeed.

It's a tossup between smash wii u, the order, and destiny. Smash has Megaman....big HOOGE points for that, the order looks pretty intriguing from an observational standpoint, and destiny looks like borderlands meets halo with WoW in the mix. I'm pleasantly surprised by it overall, even if it's being published by my archnemesis activision.

 - We don't do that, call Bell
Call Bell
 - Sorry, you are not a Bell client, fuck you
Call Internet reseller, get another guy
 - Yeah, it's a mess. Here's the number of a dude I know that will do it for you.
Call dude, get message box
Yeah, you guys won't see me for a while...
Wait, what about your internet provider not re-designating your service at your new location? That makes 0 sense.

1333  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Are you ready to embrace a digital-content era? on: June 12, 2013, 09:16:00 AM
If owning digital content means I own it and have no BS restrictions on it then yeah, digital distribution all the way. I don't see any problems with it assuming the actual rights of the owners don't change. But people saying things like cloud storage and possible loss down the road....these should not be issues that affect our digital content but inevitably will. So until laws are passed regarding the safety on the user end of owning digital media, fuck that. My digital content will stay on hard drives and such and have a hopefully solid backup as well.

Haven't mentioned much about gym progress in a while, so updates I guess.

My usual workouts now last 2 and a half to 3 hours, today being 3 and a half. Benchpress is now stuck at 315, and not moving anywhere, so I am gonna start dumbell presses to shock my system a bit. Otherwise, I've dropped cardio altogether because it added nothing to my workout outside of a lot of pretty girls giving me dirty looks for taking one of their bikes.

Leg pressed 1100 pounds 2 weeks ago, 4 times, no hand assist. Pretty fucking beastly given it was set #4 when I did it.

Oh, today, I cracked my tricep pushdown record like a stale cookie. 300 lbs, 10 reps. I also went for 200 lbs for about 30 reps. Pretty proud of myself.
