Whee in chapter 5. I'm thinking I am going to grind my class levels up a bit and then go for the "normal" ending.
Bring a spiritmaster and the fight's are pretty easy, fairy ward and adaptation make everything easy.

Shit, I just checked the lineup and you're right, soul eater got shoved forward to the 2am slot, and SAO got pulled. They just finished it saturday, I kind of expected a repeat of the series at least, considering FMA is now on what, a third repeat of the series, as is Ghost in the Shell. Fucking weak, Soul Eater sucks so much.

Actually Aeolus, if you're talking about Adult Swim's lineup, I think blue exorcist is replacing Soul Eater.

I've only ever done 1 collectible figure type thing, my batman statue from DC universe back when I picked it up for launch. Fucking awesome looking.

Airy got me curious about butterfly wings.  So I looked up a bunch and drew this!  Enjoy: Half love for Brave Default, half for love of nature. Whoop whoop
That's pretty cool actually...

Code:
but fuck airy, that lying, muderous bitch.

Warning, don't check the spoiler tag unless you're well past chapter 6.

I'm a huge xenosaga fan, and I do love me some KOS MOS. Strictly speaking my favorite design was episode III  before the remodel. Still, if funding were better, I'd totally make you an offer sir. However, I am in all regards tapped out so that can't happen. However,I have a friend who MAY be interested...I'll shoot him a text and message you later if he makes an offer.

I could agree with the logic of ps3 being more universally beneficial except for the whole playstation now service in beta, meaning that I could simply use the ps4 to stream games later...and sony is putting a METRIC FUCKTON of backing into it, so you know it's not a gimmick. Also of note, the ps4 has a number of games coming out this year that I am very intrigued by, whereas the ps3 has only a couple which are also seeing ps4 releases (MGSV for example). My big kick atm is I play FFXIV heavily and don't want a pc for it, so the ps4 version is looking incredibly promising, as well as graphically on par with a mid range pc.

Course, hitting a 405 pound bench press this year does weigh in heavily (nyuck nyuck) for reasons to skip the ps4. Again...choices suck.

@flamingrift.

Character wise, Asuna feels far more impressive after the first few episodes, as does Kirito and most of the other players. Honestly, it felt very mmo-ish in terms of newbies being dopey and such, and Kirito feels like a simple nerd at first. It really does improve after the first couple of episodes though, so bear with it. It's the second half of the season that offends most people since certain characters kind of get dropped to a useless status.

Speaking of SAO, season 2 was confirmed a few weeks ago, anyone else somewhat excited?

Well, now I'm starting to see why people think the last set of chapters can drag out for too long (I won't say why because that's technically a huge spoiler)...

But I very much welcome the extra additions to character backstory all the same.
Code:
Chapter 6, the monk and white mage. That made me smirk. Also, chapter 6 thief...i almost dropped my game when that happened...fucking hell
1390  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Bravely Default: Flying Fairy on: February 15, 2014, 08:11:05 PM
Yeah, they really are. The last one is positively fucked up.

I'd like to note even further, once you hit Chapter 3, the rabbit hole goes even deeper for the Red Mage!

Code:
The last page of his Notes mentions Qada and his poison!  He wanted to release it on the city.
Just wait, the big twist is a complete mindfuck. This game is dark for such kiddy looking characters.

6 month gym membership for 200 bucks, or ps4?

Choices sucks.
1392  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Bravely Default: Flying Fairy on: February 15, 2014, 12:22:49 PM
This game is much harder than I was expecting. Started it last night and the ogres in random battles in the second dungeon with the black mage were tearing me apart so I had to go and do some grinding. I was level 5 and now I'm level 9 so hopefully it is a little bit easier. I know I could put it on easy, but it hurts my ego :P
Brave x4 and wreck them before they attack you. So many people don't bother going red on brave, it's completely worth doing though.

I've yet to bother with salve maker aside from just grinding it out for freelancer power up. My current squad is a spirit master with white magic, pirate with dark arts, vampire with ninjutsu, and templar with chivalry. My spirit master can cast level 1 cure on my whole team and heal over 5k per character. My pirate can use pretty much any dark art for near max damage. Vampire can absorb stats and just spam any attack, but I mostly use him for supplementary stuff like stealing with thief knife or debuffing enemies. Templar....well, that's just my laugh at damage person ( she clears 425 defense now, most attacks do 1 damage). The best thing about my set up is using adaptation on everyone on my spiritmaster and then spamming dark nebula on my pirate, everyone takes max dark damage, but adaptation gives my allies absorb elemental status, so free heals. It's ridiculously op.

I love this game.

Well, you could tell yourself your Wii is getting old, and if you're going to replace it, you might as well buy a Wii U?

(And then hook up your GameCube again because Cube games are awesome and the system itself is the cutest console ever.)
Sorry, I don't do cute,I want a sexy system, and that position has been filled by the ps3 for the longest time....til now. Ps4 has my attention for being the sexiest machine around.

I really hope this finds it way to playstation...I really don't see this doing well on wii u and thus resulting in a huge decline in popularity.
1394  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: "X" by Monolith on: February 14, 2014, 12:21:31 AM
I refuse to spend money on a wii u knowing full well it's going nowhere fast, even if this game looks badass.
1395  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: What's the haps? on: February 13, 2014, 03:39:40 PM
Glad to hear you're doing well, clueless. I hope it stays that way.

So my last 3 weeks have been gym-less due to bad weather followed by their own renovations which lead to building inspectors shutting them down. What was hoped to be a few days of arguing is now a 6 month closure while they re-aquire permits. I am seriously pissed now, since every other option for a gym is a minimum 3 mile distance away and means either I walk an hour making every workout a 3 hour endeavor, I wait for a friend and drive which leaves me relying on him (he's incredibly flaky), or I take public transportation, which will increase the cost of working out substantially (5 bucks a day, on top of 30-40 bucks a month for the new memberships). This is REALLY sucky.
