It's not even their standard price of an SNES game though. Nintendo is literally nickle and diming for $2 more. There's no cross platform support or account system or cloud saves or anything. Literally a complete romdump of a nearly 20 year old game with nearly zero effort.

Why Nintendo gets a free pass, I do not know.
Nintendo's been watching their ebay auctions, they know how much us morons would pay for this game brand new...

Heading to a work call in parsippany new jersey at the sheraton hotel. Travel there via public transportation will take 3 hours....each way.

The work call is for 5 hours. :(

Q. Is the game going to support cross platform chat? I'm gonna be playing on PC and some friends r getting the PS3 version. I'm assuming it will but just checking..
If by chat you mean voice chat, pretty sure no. Otherwise, game is crossplatform, so you can play and deal with anyone on any platform.

Code:
You have unlimited ammo when hanging upside down. I've done it twice and seen someone else do it. You also have unlimited when Joel gets injured.
I don't know how you could fire so many shots during that part to see if you had unlimited ammo. I stand by what I said before about Ellie tossing you rounds, and you still had to reload...but idk, I guess it's possible. Still arguably the hardest part of the game in terms of simply advancing.

More modern?  Maybe... Dragon Quest VIII?  Tales of Vesperia?  Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne?
10+ years does not equal modern....heh heh.
Only true for Nocturne!  Vesperia was five years ago and DQ VIII was eight years ago.  And if you go by the Western release of Nocturne, it's only been eight years.  And come on.  You suggested Breath of Fire III.

I'd take part in OR co-write a Pokemon Red/Blue quiz.  Happily.
DQVIII is 8 years old? Jeez I thought it was older now. Feels like ages since I played it. But yeah, I never said pick more modern, just...only vesperia is SOMEWHAT modern there.

What difficulty were you playing on? Didn't die during that once. I had more trouble with the bloater fight, mainly because I was trying to find ways around it.
Dude...it was the only fight I actually died due to failure in. Nothing else killed me, though I spent many an encounter resetting due to item conservation.

A VII remake would be simple enough to do. Obviously recreate the visuals so everything looks and feels current, which is easy (looooool) enough, but the hard parts would be recreating the battle system so it feels fresher. Something like an amped up variation of the system in XIII, but without the paradigm shifting, maybe materia sets that you'd premake beforehand. Limits stay the same, but look flashier and do more damage. Seriously, the basic game itself needs nothing done, just update the visuals and exploration, like a custom camera or the nostalgia view like metal gear solid 3. The original system isn't even crusty enough to not hold up in a current rpg today, but the addition of the materia set changes would be cool in my opinion.

Which is why I think the FFX/X-2 HD is testing the waters.  Perhaps if that sells well enough, the business heads will think "maybe HD remakes of other older FF games like 7-9 would sell nicely too."  Money talks.
Oh don't get me started on the X/X-2 shit. This is taking waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy to long for me to give even a partial fuck anymore. The length of time wasted to do this is just that, a waste. Easily could have taken the 2 guys doing this and put them to use elsewhere ( it has to be only 2, the remasters are taking longer than the original games).

Why does everyone think you had infinite ammo when you got hung upside down? I had 18 shots on me, and there was NO WAY I could have burned through them all and survived. Ellie throws you ammo during the course of the event too, similarly to when you have to do that part later with David and he tosses you rifle rounds.

All I know is if I fired 6 shots in that upside down event and didn't kill the enemies in the room, I was dead. Reloading before the room was cleared was a death sentence.

You forgot INTELLIGENCE -5

I kid, I kid.

Add negative modifiers to stamina, dex, and vitality too since he doesn't stretch, do core exercises, or any kind of real cardio.

I do in fact stretch and do calisthenics in the form of push ups sit ups and assisted pull ups and dips, as well as maintain a constant pace in order to keep my heart rate elevated. Core exercises are less often, but more at least once a week. So I don't waste my time and energy doing something that offers me little results right now, big deal. I burn more calories lifting weights in rapid sets then the average bum.

It's called deadpan humor, and yes it's very much a joke.  Personally I found it hilarious.
I got the deadpan humor, but it seemed like a significant amount of effort and expenses for just a joke...besides, Japanese humor is very out there so I wasn't sure if it was just going over my head. T'would seem I overanalyzed...

Seriously unsure if it was a joke or not...
