Double post, but I wanted to seperate this as it's important.

In Steven Universe, is it just me or does Peridot seem like she belongs in a Mega Man universe?

It's kinda funny how the falls that literally and figuratively hurt the most are the stupid ones.  Like the falls off my bicycle that actually left permanent marks were stupid falls while warming up in the parking lot and not epic Tour de France crashes.  Or like the person who does a gymnastics tournament no problem, but then throws their back out tying their shoe.
The gymnastics one I can scientifically (lol) explain. Gymnasts have to keep their bodies in a very serious state of warmed up to operate as gymnasts. As such, when they aren't exercising or training, their muscles become very stiff. Similar problems happen to professional athletes all over, and even you're susceptible to it now dincrest. The moment you start slacking on warming up or keeping your muscles in a state of heated use, they will stiffen up and snap like a frozen rubber band.

The opposite is true to that as well, overly warming up keeps the muscles very loose and mobile, but wears them out to the point if being like an over stretched rubber band, and makes them tear easy.

Personally, I find a hot shower the best warm up on the planet :)

^Since I love Adventure Time, I tried watching a few clips of SU on Hulu once, but I couldn't get into it. Both the overall character designs, and the main character's behavior annoy me. Ironic in a way, because a lot of people say that about AT.
The show evolves greatly towards the middle of the first season. It gets really REALLY deep. Not gonna lie, steven and pearl annoyed the shit out of me for a while...and pearl still pisses me off but it's sort of a pathetic dislike...like LSP on adventure time.

I sort of thought of this when I read about his passing...it fits the mood...

Young Justice. Best fucking cartoon series I ever watched, and it got canned right when things got really interesting. It was dark, serious, and humorous all at the same time.

At 30 I have the same interests and values I had when I was 12

On my 34th birthday, my friend Deanna (lead singer for a kickass band called Mistress) said to me, "Neal, you're not 34.  You're 8!"  It made me laugh and I still think it's one of the best birthday messages I'd ever gotten.
That's ok. I walked into a restaurant on my birthday thursday with my old man, and it was a brazilian bbq place, so they had a butcher being all suave with his knife. My old man's bullshitting with him and he says we're here fornmy birthday, so the butcher asks how old am I. Told him I just turned 30, and he almost dropped his knife. I laughed and he said buddy, don't take this the wrong way but you do NOT look 30. He said maybe early 20s, but no way 30. I told him the secret is to act like a kid as much as possible.

And play tons of video games :)

I think I'm having a pre-mid life crisis. I turn 30 today, and for the first time in years I feel comfortable financially and physically (somewhat). It's making me antsy, like I want something to happen to mess up this comfort and get me back to nonchalant worrying. Worse yet, I feel like I missed out on so much now and that if I did it now or soon, i'd just be doing it for the sake of having done it and not because I want to.

I just wanna sit back down, play some video games, work when I can, work out when I can't, and meet a girl who just wants to hang around and watch funny crap like rick and morty or super troopers. If I can throw some chill time in with my buddies, that'd be swell. I don't think that's too much, is it?

If Link were a girl in the next Zelda title, only stupid fanboys would give a fuck because in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM would it impact the story, gameplay, music, and other characters. It's completely pathetic to think that anyone would be insulted by the concept of Link being a woman in a future Zelda title, much the same as the idea of a Prince Zelda in such a game. Hell the only way i wouldn't be interested in playing it is if it were stupid ass motiom controls. That's the only thing that killed any Zelda game for me.

Also, I would love to hear female Link yells. That would be hysterical.

Some friends and I are going skydiving in late july. I'm going to do my best to not think about it

Bought a Subaru Forester. First car I've had in over 20 years. Feels weird.

Looks nice though.

I didn't know you were a lesbian!

I do like flannel and boobs...aren't those the requirements?

I moved out today. I forgot my glasses though and went back for them. I knocked on the door and didn't get an answer, so I used my key to get in and yeah. :P
Not like you never saw his junk before, heh heh.

With a pirate theme, if Bamco Nandai Island doesn't make a return, I'm gonna be soooooooooooo pissed.
Don't you mean Nam Cobanda Island?

30  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake (updates in the 1st post) on: June 17, 2015, 06:31:04 PM
We'll see more come winter, apparently.

I'm nervous but hopeful. They have a great game just there, they can't fuck it up that badly. Even with the new stuff they add...

Oh god, I'm scared.
I'm hoping they just try to stick to the source material. It's a remake, afterall, not a reboot. If they can just manage to update the graphics and give us a 360 degree rotateable camera, maybe spice the battle system up a bit with new attack animations and maybe some in battle button prompts for special actions, nothing overly fancy, it'd be swell. Hell, I'd be fine with no extras at all, just the base game (although it'd be REALLY MOTHERFUCKING AWESOME if they made a little mini sidequest thing where you come across Ramza from tactics...).

They have a lot of stuff to use already, but it's almost 20 years later, and new options wouldn't hurt maybe. I'm gonna have faith in them...
