Fellow forum dweller posted this elsewhere, I had to link it

(I know it's pretty big, but I feel it's pretty laughably accurate and should be shown in full glory. I will not be mad if it's modified or if I am asked to edit the img tags out of it)

Kinda digging the Flash on CW. First episode was really on point, hit the hero button in me really hard. I hope it's a sign of things to come.

Okay, so I'm sure I'm going to get recommendations for a ton of old PC RPGs, but if there's any console games that actually fit this criteria I would really like to hear about it.

-I love party/character-building RPGs
-Usually this means there's a ton of classes to choose from. I prefer RPGs with more complex classes than just the simple warrior-rogue-mage thing, and hybrid/unique classes are a huge plus
-RPGs these days seem to be really settled into a 3 or 4-person party, games that make you build a party larger than this would be great
-Lots of customization would be a huge plus, so either skill trees or limiting your skill choices out of a huge pool, that sort of thing

FTR I don't need to know about Final Fantasy, Bravely Default, Dragon Quest or Etrian Odyssey. I've played and enjoyed all of those.
Tactics Ogre, Wild Arms XF, both psp games.

The aspartame arguements remind me of the violent video game arguements. How many times have independant research groups "performed a study" on violent video games and the associated effects they have on children and their developmental understanding of right amd wrong and the like? How many times have we all rolled our eyes at said results, knowing full well they're more or less funded by "soccer moms" who just need a war to wage?

The FDA says aspartame is fine in its current rate of consumption, and I'm fine with that answer.

I'm just throwing it out there that a lot of people do the diet soft drink solution because of the huge amount of sugar they're trying to avoid in a regular soft drink. In an odd turn of events, I personally just prefer the taste now, diet pepsi is far less....sugary tasting than regular pepsi.

Anybody got any tips for the Level 10 Lancer Guild Quest: The Stone of Courage? Because I am getting creamed. I can barely hold my own against one of those stupid birds, let alone 6+ attacking me at once. And can I leave that spot or am I stuck there? Every time I leave it, more seem to spawn. Or if you're on Exodus, maybe you want to help? I might need a conjurer to keep me alive...
Increase your level and gear, it really helps. Also, have potions equipped. Best advice I can give is to just keep trying, I know I cleared the lancer questline without a problem...but I had already run through my warrior stuff and was i90 war by that point.

When it comes to weight lifting, I try to play music that I would play for grinding in an rpg. Rules of Nature, Fighting of the Spirits from tales stuff, the battle theme from Digital Devil Saga 2, and Clubbed to Death from Rob Dougan usually are my favorites for heavy lifting. Also, Deadly Sinners from 3 inches of Blood usually is what I look for when I bench. (Not linking anything cuz lazy, hurr hurr)

When I do my tiny bit of cardio now, I just play a lot of video game music, usually green forest zone from sonic adventure 2. I do like pretty much anything for walking around, which essentially is my cardio.

Agent Destiny....sounds kinda meh.

How about Strangent D.? Makes about as much sense as the stranger already, lol.

@Dice: Yeah, I caved on a partner, fuck it, I just play some Rules of Nature whenever I lift a heavy weight and then I bash a Metal Gear or 2.

It's like the new Guile theme. It goes with everything.

Speaking of exercise, I've been bad. Between a lump of odd work hours, my gym partner being a fucking flake, and destiny sucking away free time, I've missed about a month of gym visits. Went back yesterday and am on the way there now. Trying to decide on legs or back today, such a dilemma.

So apparently Lizardsquad, some group of kids with a lot of time on their hands, just ddos'd destiny and CoD ghosts' servers. It must be nice to have so much free time on your hands...

.. says the guy sitting on a level 29 character :)
To be fair, it's only due to luck. The randomness of drops has significantly slowed down most people's progress.

To be fair, the comment was made humorously, play what you like and all that. I know quite a few people enjoy xiii, no matter how much I felt that it was a poor title. But I am thoroughly scared that any more sales of it will give SE the idea to try a new sequel....this time starring Snow...the horror.

I think the time has finally come... Time to dust off my PS3 and tackle FFXIII. Wish me luck.
NOOOOOOOOOOO, DDDOOOONNNNNNNN'TTTTT DDDDOOOOOOO ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!#!

tell us how you really feel...
I really feel like any money put into XIII will give squeenix the idea that we want another sequel....no one wants that.

The only way their hair is capable of such gravity-defying volume is a lovely hair care product called essence of float.

Edit: Also relevant, side effects include immunity to earth damage, and the occasional split end.
