I didn't mention apoc for another solid reason when I talked about entropy. U.less you're a perfectionist or a career job, making an apoc over ragnarok is just silly. 9/10 times you're not gonna be solo in game, so being able to keep yourself alive is unecessary. To skip the ragnarok in favor of survivablility is silly as a drk. That being said, an apoc user can actually use entropy quite well. Matter of fact, an apoc user will probably outdamage a reso spam on a non-relic/emp drk or a fulgurante with occasionally attacks twice drk. Honestly, I'd recommend liberator over apoc at tgis point simply for making resolution better. Liberator augments absorbs spells, so add that on your absorb str, and watch the numbers soar.

I like shijin spiral, btw. The plague effect, coupled with chi blast and the tp inhibit merit effect make encounters very safe. Plus, dex is easy to come by on monk.

I slept late, woke up, and vegetated in front of my tv playing video games. I haven't done this in weeks....felt good.

I guess I should point out that I texted my sister and said happy international ladies day. I'm such a good brother....though I forgot to text my other sister :(

Entropy is tolerable. It can deal nice damage, more than any other scythe ws outside of relic and mythic and maybe empyrean. The mp recovered is pretty awesome too, great when you're fake tanking and spamming dread spikes and drains/absorbs. The problem is that first of all, it's an intelligence modifier, and dark knights do not have that great of an int. stat, and the gear needed to improve it is stupid hard to come by. The other problem is if you're on drk, tbere is no demanding reason not to be using greatsword and resolution almost exclusively. The damage difference is pretty obvious. I'm a career dark knight, so I have both, but entropy honestly sees much less use than resolution. It's basically a matter of logic. Dark knights are damage dealerz, so you want to deal the utmost damage you can, and you won't do it with a scythe.

Stardiver is pretty good, though dragoons are still scoffed at most of the time. I'd say if you plan on using drg a lot, get it. Dragoons are pretty capable of good damage, and stardiver is handy for that. If you're gunning for warrior at any point, I would recommend getting an ukonvasara, as Ukko's Fury will deal more damage than upheaval, unoess you can stack retarded amounts of vitality. I actually gave up Upheaval because I couldn't be bothered gearing for it, and eventually I'll have a ragnarok which warrior can equip, so reso all day.

Wait a sec, a day DEDICATED to women? What about the other 364 days of the year?

Nyuck nyuck.

For resolution, absolutely. The elemental gorget/belt will improve not only your overall damage, but the consistency of high damage. As the great Hathen has already mentioned, the nerdgastic math aside, they improve the base formula for the damage per hit, and since resolution A: is a five hit ws and B: has a maxed out mod of 100% str, the ele gorget/belt really benefit it greatly. If you really wanna have some fun, try souleater with it...just watch out when half your health dissappears.

Just started playing this game... it's really great. VERY Dragon Quest VIII. I've never heard anyone mention any similarity to DQVIII, but it's immediately obvious. Must have been done by the same team. Even Jo Haishi's music sounds extremely Dragon-Questy. Anyway, I loved DQVIII so this comes as a huge compliment. The cell shaded graphic style, the goofy villains with weird ways of talking, the lush over world, and all the billions of fun British accents.

Only slight criticism is that Oliver is not a believable american, you can hear his english accent poke through all the time. Reminds me of Peri from old Doctor Who... the American who wasn't. Not a problem. I just wish they hadn't tried to make him American, it gets in the way a bit.

Oh, definitely some Earthbound feel as well.
Yeah, have you read this topic at all? I've mentioned repeatedly that this feels like DQ8.

Been playing the new MP stuff, and I am in love with the Geth Juggernaut. I walk around and eat hits all day, cuz I have 4600 shields and a melee hit that absorbs damage into shield restoration. Between that, my turret on heal mode, and Siege pulse with 40% damage reduction when fully charged, I can solo multiple mobs on gold with little effort. I love it.

Big back workout last night with some bicep finesse tossed in. Nothing truly groundbreaking to speak of, but I was there for about 2 and a half hours, so I got a lot of exercises in. To end my workout, I played with one of those aerobic sticks that weigh like 15 lbs and did windmills with it for like 5 minutes. Now I know that doesn't sound hard, but try doing a windmill with a 15 lb stick. The simple act of keeping it outstretched is demanding after a minute or two, nevermind spinning it hand over hand in a constant rythym. My workout buddies and I were messing around afterwards with the same aerobic sticks, seeing who could hold it up the longest from the end of the stick. I seriously can not stress enough how stupid it was doing this, as my right arm and shoulder are killing me still. Also, I held it as such for a whole 4 seconds.

Snow hitting the city today, so idk if I'm gonna make it to the gym tonight. Otherwise, today is shoulders.

Nah, Klyde, it's not maturity. Just more experience in dealing with assholes than your average nerd, lol. Makes me more worldly, I guess. It's funny though, I always peg myself as the immature one in groups, mostly because I act the most retarded. Couple that with being the oldest kid in my family and still technically living with my dad (both sisters live on their own for a few years now), and I generally have an child-like sense of inferiority around most of my peers.

In regards to the working out, I try to switch it up from straight strength building to form and endurance every few days. For example, I was given advice on a modified method of barbell exercises qwhere instead of keeping your weight plates posistioned normally, center of the plate through each end, you place it almost like a kettlebell on the bar, so the weight hangs and sways. Imagine doing a benchpress where instead of just pushing it up and bringing it down, you also have to control the sway motion both left and right AND forward and backward. It takes a ridiculous amount of extra core stability to do that, and it's a great way to practice perfect form for exercises. I was able to do a set with 135 lbs at 12 reps, but it was definitely a more strenous. I can only imagine it on something like a squat or military press...frightening.

Anyways, hell yeah I'm gonna keep up with updates here. Maybe it's sort of bragging, I can see some people.interpreting it that way, but I like the complimenta from you guys about it. Makes me feel like someone cares :)
