Honestly, you should battle througb, even if its boring as fuck. I suggest using the power wheel more, as it does stop everything around you and let you aim and I.D. targets that you can hit with squad powers. If it really doean't help enough, you can change the difficulty down to easy for the fight...

The point is you need to experience the first game to develop your own shepard. It will be worth it in the end, Alisha.

Man, do you know how many fingers I would give to have a saga remake? 6, cuz I only need 4 to play the game.

What's even better about it is that video games are just interactive forms of the tv shows we watch. In theory, tv is the culprit behind video games...and who controls tv? The same people who damn video games. Obviously, corporate bigwigs are tired of video games cutting in on profits to be made off network television.

Well, not all of us make it so glamorous, but yes.

Pfft, what do you know, you're just a girl. Get back in the kitchen and make some babies.

In regards to desert walker's post, I looked at that anita sarkeesian video, and I want to ask this...

In all the time most of us have played video games, and all the groups of people we've been affiliated with, how often is a woman actually attacked for being a girl playing a video game? Seriously, on video game forums, you see guys offering to do things for them in games (Phantasy Star Universe comes to mind), in games I generally see internet paladins crusading to defend girls from nerds who are overly attentive (offering to power level, get items, offer boosting, etc), but RARELY do I see any harassment outside of the occasional pic request. Even here, I've seen little to no objectification of the ladies, though Yoda and Dice do get a little borderline pervy. I'm accusing this lady of it, but do you think that maybe some of this excessive harassment is trumped up for attention? If a feminist has no cause, she's basically just a whiny lady... But if some "heathen" assaults her, everyone is up in arms to help her out.

Personally, I'm all for what she's talking about. Women get a serious bum rap in most games, and when they're supposed to be taken seriously, you get someone like Lightning who's just a male narcissist with an awesome figure for most of the game, essentially being what you're fighting against. However, my experience playing games and being submerged in video game culture has lead me to believe that situations like hers are the minority, not the majority.

Inb4"D's sexist!?"

Drunk driver hit us, everything is covered.
I hope you sue the pants off the fucker. Friend of mine's mother was hut by a drunk driver recently, she's unable to walk til probably after february, and that's going to be thanks to loads of physical therapy. Personally, I'd like to see the scumbag serve time, but that's just me. Take evrry cent he's got, and make sure he never has money to drink again.

The U.S. Should implement a law where if you've ever been convicted of a D.U.I. your license is to updated with a note or mark that makes it illegal for you to buy alcohol. There are enough assholes we can't control, at least adding some deterrence could help slow the influx of new ones.

So CNN directs an angry mob to the wrong person's Facebook account and the mob notices that person (the wrong person...) liked Mass Effect.  Since it's obvious that liking a video game is indisputable evidence that the game is the sole motivating factor behind any horrible acts of violence you (or in this case, someone else...) commit, the angry mob starts  harassing Bioware telling them to burn in hell.

Yup, this is where society is at.
I seriously hope one day, a significantly important figure in government who helps resolve a disastrous problem using peaceful methods blames video games for his desire to avoid conflict. 23 years of playing video games and all I've ever wished to do because of them is heroic deeds.

My favorite is how of ALL fucking video games to blame for mass murder, they use Mass Effect 3, a game where you are trying to save the lives of galaxies worth of people. You go so far as to sacrifice yourself to end a conflict, but yeah, ME3 promotes killing innocent kids. He must have thought they were Volus, right?

In ME1, you want to play the caster one (Adept?).
It is so incredibly broken it's amazing.
In the higher difficulties, this is accurate because powers did more damage then ammunition. However, soldier class generally tore through easy and normal, and even hard with no trouble. Just need to stay on top of your weaponry.

Yggdrasil, if I were gay, I'd love you.

It's aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!!!!!

I successfully managed to rescue my PS3 from a YLOD!  I have to say, I was skeptical as to whether or not the YLOD fix would actually work, but the results speak for themselves.   And hopefully now after cleaning out the internals and putting the new fan in the old girl will keep going for a while yet.

Well that was premature...the fix didn't last very long, YLOD'ed again today.  I guess I'll give it another shot.  Maybe do it for longer this time...
Isn't the YLOD a power supply failure, or just a generic failure display? I forgot as I only knew 1 person to ever get it.

Personally, when my PS3 started acting up, I just had sony do a service repair. 130 bucks-ish and the system looks and runs like new. Good thing too, seeing as I have an original 60 gig.

Hey, I'm not there yet! This is more of a way to rule another thing out. If it turns out I am Lactose intolerant I'll be dropping lactaid like nobodies business. No way can I give up my yogurt and CHEESE.
They tested for both Celiac and Chrone's. I don't have those. Which is good, because I love the hell out of bakery, too! MMM, bread.
I get what D was saying, Yoda. Instead of mourning the loss, use the time to try some new things. I think I may just do that.
Come ON, Dec. 18th!
I knew I liked grim for more than his taste in video games.
