Anyone on the ps3 feel like joining me for chapters 4 and 5 of Leon's campaign? I don't wanna play by myself...I'm scared of the zombies...

It's on normal, infinite ammo is available if you want it, and agent hunt is on. AgentDv1 if anyone wants to join me (please!!!).

I hate his stupid show on adult swim where he plays Dr. Steve Brule.

I can definitely agree with that.  To the best of my knowledge, I have never liked a single thing that Tim & Eric have ever been involved in.
100% agreed. Those two really are morons. But to be honest, most of the new crap on adult swim sucks, especially the non-cartoon material. At least with cartoons, nonsense is enjoyable as it's expected. Watching Tim walk up to an employee's desk and pee in his trash can while talking shop isn't funny...it's just insulting to the human race.

Almost sounds like you're toying around with resubbing to XI again...

I dislike John C. Reilly, and I hate his stupid show on adult swim where he plays Dr. Steve Brule. He's an idiot who takes his entire style of comedy from the Will Ferrell book of stupid. Stepbrothers was funny only because it showed them as the idiots they are...and that chick with the creepy desire for Reilly. His serious roles aren't as bad, but he's not funny overall.

On that note, Will Ferrell is about as funny as testicular cancer, one word makes you laugh and the rest of the time you're like damn...that's just a terrible thing to laugh at.

Nah, I can agree with that too-- I was going to make that point, but I forgot. Their last few titles have been pretty rough, but I can't totally discount this FFXIV thing. I mean, they're a business, they must have analysts saying "guys you're not going to make any money on FFXIV anymore." No matter how much eye candy you want to make, spending money and resources on something that is basically guaranteed to not perform financially MUST have some kind of motivation, don't you think?
In the short term, it might not be a money maker, but long term....lets put it like this. Ffxi is still making squeenix money, and good amounts too. If XIV has a player base of 10,000+ per year for the next 5 years, that's 9 million dollars they've made in just subscription fees, 1.8 mil per year. I HIGHLY doubt that only 10,000 people will be playing it, and even so, including base cost of the game, I'm sure they won't lose as much money as we're thinking. I'd safely bet that at least that many people were playing XIV for this past year worldwide, in it's failed state.

Long story short, Squeenix's track record shows that enough people will buy it and play it to warrant them having done it.

You know, I can't lie. Square Enix must know A Realm Reborn isn't going to do that great sales-wise. They must. Which is why I actually admire them for following through with it for all of the people already invested in and that have already bought FFXIV. It's a classy move and one that actually makes you think they give a damn about their players and their reputation. Even if ARR isn't that great, they've clearly put a lot of effort into it, and I think that says a lot.
But that doesn't account for the last few titles that have been generally looked down upon for being fairly crappy and disliked. Square's spending more time doing what they want and all they want to do is make eye candy it seems. They oughta co.sider just making feature length films instead of 40 hour plus video game cutscenes.

Went to see Skyfall last night....

No spoilers, don't worry. I felt this movie was crappy. Too long, too wordy, and a terrible showing of what could have been a great villian and a great plot. Craig still sells Bond well, and Judi Dench's no nonsense M is still great after ....what, 9 flicks now? That being said, the plot was stale. The Bond girls were both horribly underused, though the first was an interesting swing in the end. The second girl was just awfully placed....worthless in the flick overall outside of having a sexier look than the first. There was very little in terms of action, basically 4 big scenes involving firefights and chases.

....Ok one spoiler...
Code:
How the hell do you set up a fucking bomb that opens a hole in an underground subway system in order to drop a train AS A FUCKING DISTRACTION!? Seriously fucking stupid waste of effort and resources. I mean, it's not one single car, it's an entire trai., multiple cars and conductors though no passengers, and no one died! Disappointing is an understatement.

I loved the previous 2 flicks, especially the first one. Bond was so no nonsense, and the plot just flowed along so well. This felt boring, wordy, and stiff. I will say I was surprised by the ending somewhat, but only a tad. Definitely not worth a 12 dollar ticket...

No, but I'm curious, this final bash is a brawl with some big group of villians in game, right? What do you get out of it? Do you earn some reward when you start anew in 2.0?

Idk how I came across this, but I'm glad I did. It's an online action game for PSN. Kind of reminds me of a couple of psp games like Gods Eater Burst and Lord of Apocalypse, even Monster Hunter to a degree. You pick missions and complete them solo or up to 2 team mates over psn, and can have 3v3 team deathmatches as well for a vs option. Looks pretty cool, and it comes out on the 20th. Has anyone looked into this at all, as I think I read that it's been out overseas for quite a while.

Just in case it's not a well known fact, if you're abusing melee attacks and always low on stamina as a result, laying on the ground restores stamina MUCH more quickly. I normally pop a couple rounds into an enemy's head or leg and run up for melee hits. Especially useful if you hit them in the leg and they fall, just get next to em and stomp head. After a couple of those, I jumo backwards and stay down till full health, shooting as I need to (better aim when floored anyway). Laying down and shooting hasn't been so awesome since MGS4.

Just got to chapter 3 of Leon's campaign, and I have no clue why people whine about ammo so far. I have so many bullets for my guns except the handgun, which I just have a steady stream of at all times. Maybe it's my resident evil experience overall that's helping me conserve bullets, as I only use the shotgun when I see an ammo drop for it, or the sniper rifle when I just feel like messing around. Probably helps also that the first skill I bought was item drop increase...maybe. Also, Helena's hydra sucks, alot, but quickshotting it is awesomely fun, like gun ballet. I may start playing on veteran, the game seems pretty easy thus far, especially when most of the health tablets I use are for reviving idiots who can't melee well.

I bet you could bounce a quarter off Helena's ass.
